New Line is coming off Lord of the Rings, Paramount hasn't had a hit in years. I don't think New Line should be looking to any studios for help. But you could be right.

I don't understand why it's a joint venture between Paramount and New Line. Paramount hates the franchise but loves the money, yet I don't see how New Line benefits from Paramount jumping on board.

I just don't get the ratings drop. It was a two-parter, damnit.
