  1. I'd give him the gimmick of a guy who can control the world with his mind and uses the ability to make the divas clothes fall off and they try to cover up but he's seen everything. He's seen it all.
  2. I don't know---those types of songs are not my favorite and his swearing generally does come off as forced and cloying but "Bitches Ain't Shit" is a well done parody/homage. The G-Funk synthesizers really drive the song home...that and the British guy.
  3. He poked fun at himself in Thumbsucker. He basically played himself as a spaced out, new age dentist and was the funniest part of the film. Too bad like eight people saw it. Decent movie.
  4. Am I the only one marking out at the news of Koko B. Ware being inducted into The Hall of Fame? Sure it's completely and totally undeserved but if it means seeing current members of the WWE roster do the Bird while Koko makes his way to the stage for his acceptance speech, then I'm all for it.
  5. It seems like more guys are getting picked off my list the later we go on this draft. Surely, a good sign. Still my #1 and #2 guys remain on the board (my planned opponents for Londrick) but somehow I fully expect one of the team to get drafted in the next few picks. I just know it. Also RE: X-Pac...I've always kind of liked the guy. Well, at least I've never hated him. Yeah his gimmick got really old after '00 or so but even during the peak of X-Pac heat during The Invasion, I thought he was a decent to good worker. Haven't seen him since he got released from WWE but I'd venture to say he's still not terrible.
  6. I knew that being head of the WWE Folder would drive Venkman to madness. Just knew it. He's missed like three roundtables in a row for god's sake.
  7. Yeah, "Sports and Wine" is one of the few duds off of the self titled debut. I've also never been a fan of "Uncle Walter" or "Julianne" but they're more middling than outright terrible. Everything else is good to great. I'd say Whatever and Ever Amen has a more solid set of songs but the highs are higher on the debut. I originally meant my Top 5 to be a composite of Five and solo songs but no solo songs happened to make the list. Well I'll do Top 5 solo then 5. Bitches Ain't Shit (I'm 98.2% sure that Czech's not a fan of this one but this is about as well made of a novelty cover as you can get) 4. Zak and Sara 3. Still Fighting It 2. Not The Same 1. Annie Waits
  8. Well, that was even more awesome than I remembered it being.
  9. I'm sure I'm the only one but I always thought Keanu should do more comedy. He's good at playing dumbass/spacey types for intentional laughs as well as unintentional. Weirdly enough My favorite Keanu performance was in the semi-obscure indie Thumbsucker
  10. Thank you, Gary. Whenever I made that comparison, I was ignored. Though to be fair, I called that guy "the dude from Motley Crue's "Smokin' In The Boys Room video" rather than the dude from The Hills Have Eyes.
  11. Agent- can they both be punished? Is anybody getting any enjoyment out of this thread? Why am I still posting in it?
  12. Yeah, I sat next to a middle aged, Boogeyman mark at the last house show I went to in June '06. Even if he (and 75% of the section I was in) gave me dirty looks for rooting for Finlay against Bobby Lashley. That's all I really have to add.
  13. Yeah, I'll still end up burning my younger brother's copies of his albums but I'm not buying his shit anymore. Like I said earlier, you can get a pass for one bad album but two bad albums in a row...you're I'll still see him live though. I haven't had the opportunity to see him on this tour yet but I saw him twice on the last tour and he ranks up there in the pantheon of great live acts. I think his solo band is underused- they sound nearly good as the Five live and their harmonies are pretty good but his last album was so drenched in studio wankery that it was hard to tell. Since I've ranked Ben Folds' albums, let's do Top 5 favorite songs... 5. "Best Imitation of Myself" 4. "Battle of Who Could Care Less" 3. "Don't Change Your Plans" 2. "Magic" 1. "Alice Childress"
  14. Yeah, teaming Sasaki and Animal was also on my radar last round but I decided there were too many good actual tag teams left to justify being a dick.
  15. This is the worst feud in recent memory at TSM...and I don't hate either of the posters involved. There's no sense of fun or humor involved, just two guys who kind of hate each other.
  16. Ah damn! Another pick stolen from under me! Ultimo Dragon was #1 on my list of potential draft picks. He was going to be the center of my junior heavyweight division, dammit! Shouldn't have expected him to last back to me but still! Errr....nice pick.
  17. Damn, I was just thinking last night about how surprised I was that Yokozuna was still on the board and hoping that he'd fall all the way back down to me. Ah well. Great pick. Sid-Yokozuna would certainly be an interesting match up.
  18. I like it as well. Really, I think some DVDs deserve their own thread and it wouldn't be fitting to do one on say The Mr. Perfect DVD in the WWE folder.
  19. Hmmm...a Let Us Talk About thread...I'm going to look and see if I have a case for suing them for copyright infringement.
  20. I was about to post the same thing. Wow...just wow...
  21. In a similar vein, Shelton Benjamin's "Mama" being the same woman that originally played Donovan McNabb's mama.
  22. I had tubes put in my ear to improve my hearing back when I was 5 or 6. Only a few vague memories of it. I could only eat soft foods for a couple days. What I remember most oddly enough is my dad picking me up from the hospital and stopping at a gas station and a guy in a Ninja Turtle costume being there, banging on the window while my dad was paying for the gas or whatever, and me getting out to greet him. This was in the waning days of TMNT's popularity ('93-'94ish)...so I'm not sure if this actually happened or was some sort of drug induced hallucination. This was actually the first of several odd meetings between me and people dressed as childrens television stars.
  23. 11-15 is already full (though bear in mind Venkman is sure to back out for the third week in a row) but 16-20 has a few slots open and it's open season 21-24 and 25...though I doubt there's a terrible amount of interest in this folder in those.
  24. Well, once again, King Cucaracha is not around and he gave me carte blanche to draft for him this weekend while Mellow's not around. So I figured I'd do so before I went to bed. This next guy is a man who has been able to pull off many roles over his career; angry, militant heel, powerhouse baby face, and for the past few years, as a comedy wrestler. I'm assuming King is taking him in the second role. He was the first ever African American WCW World Champion (and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but perhaps the first African American to win a World title in any major promotion) as well as a former WCW World Team Champion, a three time former WWF Tag Team Champion, and an NWA Florida Heavyweight Champion as well as a member of The College Football Hall of Fame. Ladies and gentlemen, with the next pick in the All Time Wrestling Roster Draft, King Cucaracha selects... Ron Simmons
