Finals, TSM Worst Poster Tournament
King Kamala replied to EVIL~! alkeiper's topic in No Holds Barred
Marvin is downright awful in CE and if he was as awful in every other folder I would vote for him gladly. However outside of CE, Marvin is merely bad. I'd go as far as to say that Marvin actually is half-decent in the Food Folder. MVP/Deon/Douchebag is truly awful in every shape or form. Like Cheech said, he has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. -
Then we'd have good reason to ban him!

For some reason, I think closing the General Discussion thread would really upset Cena's Torn Pec and the regular posters there. I'm all for it.

Let's Talk About..........The Natural Born Thrillers

Ripping off The Rock didn't hurt Booker T or Juvie. Besides I can't recall Romeo ripping off The Rock. Maybe a bit during the WCW SN days but only six people watched that show then. He did sort of resemble him though. -
I'd be seriously unhappy if The Truthiness and dustinbeaverton were running amok in General Wrestling. I know established posters like to rag on the wrestling folders (and rightfully so for the most part) but they're still pretty popular.

I thought I was the only Kid Romeo mark. I was a fan of his back when he was a Saturday Night regular in late '99/early '00. I marked out crazy when he showed up on Nitro once in March '00 even though he got squashed by The Wall or somebody of that ilk. Needless to say I was happy when he came back in early '01 and his team with Skipper got a push. What surprises me about those two is not that they didn't get a push by WWF after WCW got bought out but the fact that those two didn't get a push anywhere after WCW was bought out. Romeo jobbed for TNA for a while in '03/'04 and EZ Money had a cup of coffee in TNA and ROH but they've both virtually disappeared since. -
Yeah, a surprising amount of jobbers switched sides back in the day, even up till The Monday Night War era. I always thought it was amusing when Barry Horowitz jumped ship to WCW in '97/'98ish.

I smell a conspiracy! If this ends up being my last post, I'd like you guys to know I had a good time here in the past half decade

General Wrestling is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite folder in the entire forum and is by the far the best out of all of the wrestling ones. It has its fair share of idiots like any folder but the discussion seems to be dominated by intelligent posters (Cheech, Al, Venkman, etc.) I can even tolerate cabbageboy in that folder.

I could see someone justifying spoilers for house shows since they tend to run the same show for weeks and maybe somebody else is going to a house show with the same lineup in a week but fantasy booking!?

Well, a couple weeks ago in the Box Office thread I predicted 10,000 B.C. would do somewhere between 30 and 40 million opening weekend. Score one for me. I bet it has a huge dropoff next weekend. Not surprised to see Semi-Pro fall so hard though.

Looks like we're going to have The MVP/Marvin finals I predicted. -
It can't be over! Tommy Heinsohn said he was the next Tracy McGrady!

The official grand prize hasn't been decided yet. Hopefully they can come up with one before the end of next round. -
Crono had a truly epic neck beard.

Well if we're counting interacting at wrestling show. I met Palmer Cannon (The "UPN Executive" on Smackdown!) several times at indy shows before he signed with the WWE. Surprisingly, he was the dominant babyface for the local indy that used to run right up the street from my house. He towered over the rest of the roster (He was 6'4 or 6'5 and I don't think anybody else on the roster was over 6'). His wife worked with my dad before he got signed to a developmental contract with WWE. Last I heard the guy was doing jiu-jitsu.

I think it's a crying shame Enigma is receiving so few votes in this round. All four posters in Group 2 could stake claims at being the worst and I wouldn't argue. -
I'm not sure how the hell it happens. Maybe a bad bounce or something. All I know is it's nearly ruined my desire to shoot hoops in the backyards.

Oh I'm pretty sure 90% of you won't know this guy (Which I guess is the point of this thread) but an improv group I was in back in high school opened up for Maine's Jeff Foxworthy, Bob Marley (the comedian). He was also in The Boondock Saints. I asked him to host my high school's sketch comedy show and gave him my number...He never called back. Our centerpiece sketch of that show if he had agreed to host it was going to be called "Bob Marley and The Whalers". Clearly, I was a clever lad.

I hate it whenever I'm bouncing a basketball and when the ball bounces up, it accidentally hits me in the nuts. I swear this happens at least twice a year to me. Always knocks the wind out of me for a good 15 minutes. I wonder if that's ever happened in an NBA game....

I remembered another real sub D list one. Bob Ryan of Around The Horn and substitute PTI host fame at a couple of tables away from me at Mike's Pastry a month or two back. It is one of two times I've seen my father absolutely starstruck. The other time being Curt Schilling saying "Hi" to him outside the hotel The Red Sox were staying in in Baltimore.
