I usually went home (my house was 3 blocks away) and ate leftovers for lunch during high school. As you can guess, I was really cool in high school. I don't know if it was a regional thing but McDonalds had deals of the day for a short time in the mid 90s here. The only one I remember was on Wednesdays they had 39 cents cheeseburgers. My dad would always buy a sack of them on the way home from work. IIRC, they had hamburgers for a quarter on another day.

Guys have you forgotten the AWF, the somewhat short lived wrestling league from '95/'96ish? It used the British round system for matches. Its roster was almost entirely comprised of WWF mid carders from the 80s (Tito Santana and Bob Orton traded the heavyweight titles). Heck, they even had Lord Alfred Hayes on commentary! It's a wonder why they didn't make it..... They have some of it on NetFlix if you're curious.

Agreed, if cotton candy's not warm then it's not worth my time. I love Cadbury Creme Eggs but I like the new caramel filled ones even better. I'm having a hard time thinking of a caramel filled candy that I don't like.

And it was just sad anytime he returned to WCW in the late 90s and early '00s. That Dark Carnival stable with him, Vampiro, The Demon, and The Insane Clown Posse was just embarrassing. But that's neither here nor there really.

Amusing that Meltzer said WWF's popularity was on the wane after WrestleMania 2. I like Meltzer but his blatant hatred of the WWF in the 80s while not entirely disaccurate is highly amusing.

That guy is pathetic with his long rants about not getting his updates on time and the aforementioned incident (I just randomly read the October 24/7 thread today- pathetic in itself). He was one of the saddest posters in The General Wrestling folder. And that's saying something seeing how I post there frequently.

Can't we have a compromise? I think banning is a bit strong but a one day suspension is letting them off a bit light. I think a one month suspension might give the suspendee enough time to reflect on their shitiness and hopefully improve.

It's not likely but what happens if razateca and vanhalen win? They haven't been here in months and I don't think they're coming back.
