Whose facts under the cap came first? Nantucket Nectars or Snapple? I never even noticed the former had facts under their caps until last night. Nantucket Nectars facts are so much more boring.

I saw Willem Dafoe at a supermarket in Oxford, Maine of all places (I guess he owns a camp in the area or something). And I know it was him because you can't really mistake that voice of his. Stephen King spoke at my high school. He was originally supposed to just do a short writing workshop with about 50 kids but then they somehow managed to dupe him into speaking in front of the entire school as well. He was kind of amusing, he made fun of the movie adapatation of Dreamcatcher. I've met several wrestlers but the most interesting signings I went to was Tony Atlas signing at a used car dealership and Scotty 2 Hotty signing at a grocery store. Scotty 2 Hotty was really quiet and vaguely rude but Tony Atlas seemed like a hell of a nice dude. He wouldn't stop talking to me. This was shortly after the episode of MTV True Life that he was in so he wouldn't shut up about that. Atlas actually sort of lives in my area (about 45 minutes away from me). I saw him again about five months ago at a grocery store. This time I was wise and didn't say anything to him.

I may be just imagining things but I remember Heenan and Monsoon mentioning The Berzerker's 40 man battle royal win during The 1993 Royal Rumble. Heck as a mark I thought he had an outside shot. He won all of his matches by countout after throwing the guy out of the ring!

If it comes down to Marvin/MVP, I say just ban both of them.

Let me put on my JN News hat and do some fantasy booking. If I were a moderator on this fine forum I would hand out punishments this way; 1st place: EHME style thread where the Winner of the tournament has to defend themselves. If they don't do a semi half decent job, they'll get banned. If they do a good job, they'll get a month long suspension anyways for past crappy posting 2nd place: Two week suspension 3rd and 4th place: One week suspension Rest of the Top 10: Three day suspensions.

With all due respect Cheech, if you're worried about being cruel then you probably shouldn't be posting in a Worst Poster tournament thread. And I'm not so sure if we're going to ban the winner (loser?) of this thing. Milky acts like he will but we all know he has a high tolerance for shitty posters. And al probably won't. I guess you couldn't rule one of the other mods banning the winner. I say there's about a 55/45 chance of the winner of this tournament being banned.

There's one like that with The Patriots called IIRC Tales From The Patriots Bench by Michael Felger from The Boston Herald. It tells the story about The Patriots from their inception until TSM' red hoodie clad favorite coach was hired as head coach in 2000. Fun book, though obviously I'd give it a much higher recommendation to a Pats fan than a non Pats fan. Not entirely a sports book but I'd also like to recommend Can I Keep My Jersey: 11 Teams, 5 Countries, and 4 Years in My Life as a Basketball Vagabond by NBA journeyman, Paul Shirley. A really fun book. Though Shirley can be a little too snarky at times.

The four or five times I had those crappy wax soda bottles I always ate the whole thing including the wax bottle. I was a weird kid I guess. I occasionally the wax covering on those Baby Bella mini cheeses too.

I agree with King. They were really green but no so much more so than Randy Orton was when he debuted in '02 or Rocky Maivia in '96. I think what really hurt them was their one sided feud against The Insiders. It was just ludicrous that those two alone were able to beat an entire stable with relative ease. But then again it is WCW and it is Kevin Nash.

I'll pick the hillariously titled Loose Balls by Terry Pluto. It's an oral history of The ABA with interviews with about 75% of the major players and figures in the league. The stuff about Marvin "Bad News" Barnes is unbelievablely funny.Just a tremendously fun read.
