  4. I thought the singles from the hilariously-titled "Take Off Your Pants and Jacket" were OK. Other than that they never meant much to me, even when they went serious with their last album and gained SCENE CREDIBILITY because they collaborated with Everybody's Influence Bob Smith. The fact that Tom DeLonge convinced himself that he literally created the best album of the past twenty years will always be much funnier than any of the genitalia references which filled his old band's catalog.
  5. I was always a fan of the Canon ripoff at the end of SFII. You can't go wrong with ripping off the Canon unless you're Vitamin C. Also, the theme from Cammy's ending.
  6. Didn't Ahmed Johnson lose a kidney in '96? I know he had some damage done to them, and my recollection from back then is that they had to remove one kidney. But that was a long time ago and my wrestling memory fails me sometimes. Side note: One time I was watching an old Raw from that time period on tape and they did a profile on Ahmed's health problems, complete an interview with his doctor, JOEL HACKETT. Not a surprise, not a surprise one bit.

    Wii

Mega Man 9 is out Monday.
  8. Miyamoto was butthurt because when he first showed his bosses Yoshi's Island they were all "Naah, make it look more like DKC!" You're right about this being a breakthrough in SNES sound. Most early SNES games had a low-quality 32-bit MP3 sound to them, whereas the music of DKC was crystal clear. I think a lot of SNES games sound worse than Genesis games simply because while the SNES sound chip was more advanced, the Genesis music was clearer, even if it did have that annoying coil-y spring-y bass sound. Castlevania: Dracula X has the highest-quality music on Super NES. Sure, all its best tracks are reused from older games in the series, but they've never sounded better!
  9. Hey Czech, there are now 3 posts about Mad Season, time to spin off a new thread.

http://www.nintendoeverything.com/?p=3794 As it turns out, it is Muramasa: THE DEMON BLADE.
  11. There already was a sequel to "Trapped in the Closet." Or at least extra chapters. Also, 2GOLD, the post you're responding to is four years old.
  12. My dad has this in his vinyl collection, maybe we can discuss it.
  13. "JACK ON THE TAKE TUNNEY. BEST PRESIDENT SINCE NORIEGA." I've seen this show a few thousand times but I can always go for another viewing. That Hogan promo after Piper-Mountie was remarkably restrained.
  14. Am I an asshole for suggesting that Biggie and Tupac are dead for associating with known gang members and no doubt amassing many enemies along the way and Pimp C is dead because he overdosed on SIZ-ZURP? Meanwhile, Soulja Boy is just a happy-go-lucky teenager who enjoys playing "Braid" on Xbox Live Arcade and doing the BIRD WALK. Also, Soulja Boy is better than Biggie.
  15. I'm telling ya, their hit singles when they were on Geffen Records were some good pop hits. Big Ones is really all you need by them.
  16. Aerosmith was at their best when they were in their hair-metal period doing syrupy power ballads co-written with Desmond Child. Their Armageddon song was pretty weak though, probably due to the heavy hand of schlock queen Diane Warren, and I haven't much enjoyed anything they've done since.
  17. n-i-g-g-e-r-f-a-g-g-o...I CAN'T DO THIS Carlos Mencia Is it wrong that I imagined this chanted to the tune of Fantasia Barrino's "Baby Mama"? "N-- I (G-G) E-R, F--A (G-G) O-T, THIS GOES OUT TO ALL MY NIGGER FAGGOTS, THIS GOES OUT TO ALL MY NIGGER FAGGOTS." I don't know.
  18. The vast majority of reviews I've seen for DMC hail it as a great game. It doesn't really apply here.

I believe there was a "No Urban Champion" rule last year. But not a "No China Warrior" rule.....

    DEON DARK

http://www.myspaceprofiles.org/profiles/143845399.html Deon Dark (born 30 November 1982) is an aspiring American actor known for his suave and witty demeanor. He is a smart, fun guy to be around with, who likes to smile and make others smile, usually with a laugh Communication and honesty are important to him. He can deal with anything and fears nothing, except heights. A good listener as well a good advisor would also describe him. In his spare time, its been reported that he likes to go out alot. LOL, look at him go! I'd like to meet: Smart, sexy, strong, sexual, and sensitive. Beauty and brains. Deon Dark is attracted to women, who are independent and secure about themselves physically and emotionally. A woman who knows herself, what she wants and how to get it. He loves a woman who is not afraid to express herself and her desires. She is feminine and can still be assertive. She can laugh at herself, at him, and definitely at others. From shy to aggressive, lawyer to stripper, streetwise to Phd, he is attracted to that certain "?!"
  21. I go to college for five years, every day having to deal with smokers blowing their disgusting filth smog in my face. I finally graduate, and they enact a PA-wide ban smoking on campus. Figures.
  22. You guys don't get it. This is Comments THAT don't warrant a thread. The other one is Comments WHICH don't warrant a thread. Big difference.
  23. You know what else? I LOVE Friday the 13th for NES. Walking around, exploring cabins and caves and forests. Day, evening, night. Oh shit, gotta get the kids before time runs out. Get to the cabin - no, I'm going the wrong way! Turn around, there it is! OK, where is he? He's not there, turn, he's not there, turn HOLY FUCK IT'S JASON. Beat him, leave. Start walking, wait, why are the zombies walking away from me? OH SHIT HE'S BACK AND HE'S AS FAT AS BIG VAN VADER! And the music in the cabins is freakin' great. So calm and serene but also creepy. It's like proto-Resident Evil. Early survival horror. They should make a new RE-style Jason game where he's the only enemy, but he stalks you everywhere like the Nemesis. It doesn't matter if the game is good. Survival horror is the one genre where a game can be funny-bad and you can still enjoy it.
  24. I'm gonna go out on a limb here. C: The Contra Adventure isn't a bad game. It's clunky, I admit, and the 3D controls aren't very good. But I still like it. It was a Playstation game. P S One. They were still learning how to get 3D right. People still talk about Tomb Raider 1 like it was a good game and its controls blew ass. Discuss, and add your own defenses of frequently maligned games.
  25. Oh and TheSmartMarks.com.
