I think the way I framed the question may have influenced the poll results. Which is really the way a good poll is conducted.

What is your opinion of Mole as an administrator?
BUTT replied to Matt Young's topic in No Holds Barred
Mole has been good except when he banned Hotbutter. That shit broke my heart. So I just saw Macula was banned for being a PBP. Who was he? -
Here you go, Mr. TS: http://www.mobygames.com/game/turbo-grafx/...uck/screenshots Hotlinking isn't allowed or I would have just posted the pics here.

I'll say it, I don't like Joy Division. It's all so glum and boring. I know they are highly regarded in THE SCENE because they are INFLUENTIAL, but I don't currrrrrrrr 'bout that. I do like "Dead Souls" though. "Love Will Tear Us Apart" is good, but it's talked about like it's some sort of pop classic, and I'm just not hearing it. Oh man, New Order. "True Faith"! "Bizarre Love Triangle"! "Regret"! "1963"! These are some fucking great songs. That's all I have to say. At their best, this band was absolutely brilliant. And not boring and depressing! Too bad they suck now. But lots of bands suck now. Those bands that suck didn't write "Regret"! Every time I bring this up to my scenester friends they're all like "WHAT BLAH BLAH JOY DIVISION IS MORE INFLUENTIAL INFLUENCE INFLUENCE IAN CURTIS WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA". And now Sensei John Kreese is bringing this unpopular opinion to TheSmartMarks. I want to know if any of you agree with me because I've never encountered anyone in real life who does.

I would assume there would be licensing problems since a lot of the wrestlers in the game aren't with WWE anymore and thus they aren't under whatever license agreements allowed them to be in the game in the first place. I'd expect to see very few licensed games on the VC.

SJK, Vigilante was a game in the Kung-Fu mold but set in an urban environment. I'd go so far as to call it a present day (at the time) update of Kung-Fu. My brother may have rented this game back in the day. I have fairly vivid memories of a number of games we rented for the TurboGrafx. Battle Royale. Bloody Wolf. Darkwing Duck. NEUTOPIA! D&D: The Order of the Griffon. But I can't say I remember much of Vigilante besides the name. Although looking at some of the screenshots, it does look a little familar.
-
I remember Vigilante. Kinda. Or do I? I think I do. I should look into this. Seriously, though. Neutopia. And Neutopia II. There aren't any good TurboGrafx emulators.

Dude it cost $100. A hundred fucking dollars. The only game in the series that I've played is the first and from what I played I found it enjoyable. Since I have no patience I never got far in it.
-
Yeah but they released the last one for PS2, 360 and PSP and there was a PS3 version scheduled before it got canned. I'm guessing they realized that in the eyes of the fans, the Smackdown series is the clear #1 and they figured it's best just to make the same game for each system, which is the cheaper option as well.

Because you're so fat you wore a blue shirt to the beach and they called you Free Willy.

I'm disappointed with the Stage 1 video. The awesome original song (which I believe was called "Opposing Bloodlines" although I'm not sure) had been replaced by a lame remix of the Castlevania 3 theme.

Hemme wasn't banned.

Well, it was actually released in November 1998 in Japan. But they did need to get it out early to get the jump on PS2. And as for this question: "People were still angry about the past 2 generations of CD consoles that Sega was selling why would they want to buy 3 consoles in a period of 5 years?" They DIDN'T buy three consoles in five years. That was the problem. If people had bought those consoles they wouldn't have needed to rush the Dreamcast. Yeah I'm sure Saturn owners were upset about the premature death of their system but there were only 1.5 million of them in the US, so why should Sega have continued catering to them rather than making another bid at the mainstream?
-
OK, back to Sega. The next one will be number 65 (the numbers got all messed up there, as there are two #51's and 2 #54's) 65) Spreading themselves too thin. Sega was never a gigantic company on the level of a Sony or even a Nintendo. That didn't stop them from creating and/or supporting an astounding number of systems. In 1994, they were making games for Genesis, Sega CD, and Game Gear. And they were porting Genesis and Game Gear titles to the Master System for release in Europe. And that year they released the 32X, Saturn (in Japan) and Pico: The Computer That Thinks It's A Toy! And they were also pumping out a large number of arcade games. I also think they introduced a new brand called "Sega Toys" around this time. The next year they brought out the Nomad. It was also around this period (somewhere around '95-'96) that they began producing PC games. Anyway, by focusing on too many different pieces of hardware no system got the attention it fully deserved.

Man, don't tell me you actually believe that Nintendo PlayStation bullshit. "They were ready to co-exist harmoniously before Nintendo screwed Sony BUT THEY GOT THEIR COMEUPPANCE!" Sony always had plans to release their own game system. The deal to create the SNES-CD was just their way of getting a foot in the door. The original plan for the PlayStation was to be a home entertainment system that played SNES carts and Sony's own CD-ROM games. I'm sure Nintendo would have been TOTALLY down with that. When the deal fell through Sony went ahead with the project on their own.

At the very least with the free version of FruityLoops you can export your file to an MP3.

Anyone with a working brain would have also killed the Saturn for the Dreamcast. That doesn't mean Bernie Stolar isn't a moron.

A match that ends clean with no semblance of a run-in, ref bump or swerve with one guy actually winning decisively? "I'm gonna be honest with ya, bro. That would neva work. The fans don't like to be insulted."
-
I admit my all-time favorite VH song is a Hagar song ("Dreams"), but the guy did turn a totally bad-ass rock band into a bunch of Journey-esque pussies so I can see why the prevailing sentiment is that Roth is better.

Plus I got a thing for Rachel Ray. Pic gave me a chuby. Rachel Ray's cute until she starts talking. I would have liked to be in the presence of Ms. Ray when she started calling Angelina Jolie a "skanky backdoor cunt" and said Oprah has "problems being black". I can't stand when girls my age talk shit like that but if it's a woman in her late 30's I can get down with that.
