Alex Kidd in Miracle World is great. In fact, I just beat it a couple of hours ago. It ends with a freakin' puzzle rather than a boss fight, though. That's wacky. A lot of those other games suck. The SMS port of Altered Beast would qualify as one of the worst things ever if the NES version wasn't somehow worse.

Daniel Rodimer was originally supposed to be on the main roster by now, but he hasn't been brought up yet. He recently did a job on Heat for Eugene, which isn't exactly good for him. 2/12: Roddy Piper is doing an MTV movie now that he is done with his radiation therapy. WWE wants to sign Mistico, Shocker, and Perro Aguayo Jr. to get more Hispanic fans. Dusty Rhodes is a big Shocker fan because he booked Shocker in TNA. Also, Shocker speaks English so that's another point for him. WWE thinks they will be able to sign Shocker. Mistico could probably make more money in WWE than in Mexico. The travel is worse in WWE but you don't have to work as much. Aguayo is really short and very fast which won't exactly endear him to those in power at WWE. RVD gave his notice so that his contract wouldn't roll over. His downside is $250K, but Dave thinks he's probably making around half a million. He could go to All Japan but they don't run as many shows as they used to. On the indies he could probably make around $2500 per show at first but that number would go down after a few months. In TNA he would be a big star but it's doubtful he'd be able to make the money he's making in WWE because TNA has been cutting back a lot lately financially. Afa and Sika will probably be inducted into the HOF this year. At least, they were asked. There's no reason for them to say no, now is there? Following concerns from Ross and Brisco about WWE not recruiting good enough athletes lately, John Laurinaitis has hired a dude named James Tyler Bailey to recruit college wrestlers and football players. Vito's "cross-dresser" gimmick is done. He's going to Deep South and will be getting a new gimmick. Super Crazy is getting something of a push lately because Brian Gerwitz saw Nacho Libre and thought that Crazy would fit well into the "wacky fat Mexican" role. Nitro jobbed to Crazy because he has heat over his relationship with Melina. She's not well-liked apparently. It sure would be nice to be in a position to punish people because you don't like their significant other, wouldn't it? Reason #67489903 to respect the business. WWE has considered inducting Bruno into the HOF, but as always, he's totally not up for that. The World Class DVD is in the works and the history of that era is getting WWE-ized. Bookers Ken Mantell and Gary Hart won't get the credit they deserve. Michael Hayes, who coincidentally works for WWE now, is going to be portrayed as "the architect of the boom period". There's a difference between porting games between systems and actually emulating the hardware. There were a lot of Genesis games ported to SNES. Could the SNES have run a Genesis emulator? I doubt it. I bet PS3 and Xbox 360 could run a DC emulator, but I don't think Wii could.

I've seen the cage match around awhile back but much like that 8 man tag you were asking for it has been awhile since I passed across a link. I will keep an eye out for you though. Reason being the Uncensored cage match sucked. The rules kept changing throughout the match, the finish made no sense, and Hogan looked more like the face when he was supposed to be the heel. It was supposed to be like that as it was a dual turn with Hogan turning face and Flair turning heel. Not to say it made sense, but that's why the finish looked like it did. Another thing they have in common was that neither PPV seemingly got all that much hype both on TV or on the internet back in those days. Gotta wonder what the buyrate was. If it is as low as I think it was then it is no wonder these matches are semi-rare to outright impossible to find since nobody bought the PPV. The Superbrawl buy rate was shockingly high at 1.1, and it came very close to matching the buy rate for the Austin/McMahon cage match that took place the week before. It's generally considered to be the last big buy rate Hulk Hogan drew as a full-time wrestler. The Uncensored main event was funny going in, because it was a First Blood match and they were forbidden from using the term 'First Blood' on television, so they had to hype up a match with a stipulation where they couldn't tell you what the stipulation was. Uncensored did 0.73 in the end. I wonder how much better Uncensored could have done with a better undercard. SuperBrawl had a pretty stacked card including some really heavily-built up matches like Goldberg-Bigelow and Steiner-DDP. On SuperBrawl, the main event was the only big match. Of course, the next month's show dropped to something like a .6 with a much better lineup than Uncensored, but I guess that's what you get when you don't announce the two big matches (Hogan vs Sting vs Flair vs DDP and Goldberg vs Nash) until a week before the show. Oh, WCW.
