Yeah. "Over the summer," was the way it was put. However, HHH is going be out of the picture at Vengeance to film his movie, and Benoit/HHH is the most likely Summerslam match. So where's HHH/Edge fit in?

On Raw he got a hell of a lot of crowd response. How's he like the original character? He's had virtually no real character development except for that spear on Bisch that went nowhere, and his promos have been completely generic. They just stripped him of the main things that made him popular before, and didn't replace them with anything. I'm not trying to prove you wrong or anything, because I never called for a serious Edge. Frankly, he's a midcarder for life in my eyes. I just don't get what you're supposed to be trying to prove here. He's been directionless and he's, at best, the 5th top face on Raw? Why they didn't just leave him on Smackdown I don't understand. He's a non-factor on Raw and SD needed him a hell of a lot more.

I have an X-Box. I just don't like dual-analog movement or even First Person Shooters (I like Metroid Prime, but that's not technically a FPS). What are the options? It was the only X-Box launch title worth a damn?

"Billy Kidman is working with a bad knee, as is Paul London." No ****. I'm glad that HHH2000 is back, complete with good workrate and wit.

TATU, actually. When she starting using it, it was all over the radios and TV channels and I COULDN'T GET THAT ****ING SOUND OUT OF MY HEAD! OUT OF MY HEAD! OUT OF MY HEAD!!" Then it blew over and it was just another theme, then this crap.

Halo, Halo, Halo--**** Halo!! I simply refuse to play a game where I need to use the two analog sticks to perform basic movements. Not my bag. However, yeah I could see that if you don't mind that you'd like that game.

Link's the only one that can overcome it... Of course, right now Chrono Trigger is matched up with LTTP--my vote went to LTTP. Where's Link's Awakening on this biotch? Smash Bros. Melee beat FFX, though. Which is shocking because FFX is at least a hell of a lot better than VII.

I'm sure there are plenty of other factors: The price: when the DC was beginning to die, it because the perfect budget system with tons of great titles available dirt cheap. Before a lot of the titles were realized to be "rare" or in high demand, you could nab them easily. Even today you can get great DC games for 15 bucks and cheaper. How about how the system had a lot of great titles way before they were ported/given sequels for the other systems, so the DC owners have little incentive to rush out for the upgrades/ports? How about how the DC is so import-friendly, you can play a wealth of import titles with a Gameshark or simple swap trick? Four controller ports from the get-go, so you have no need for an adapter. Except for the way-too-ahead-of-its-time X-Band, it was the first console to support online gaming, and could be used to surf the net. Yeah, those 2D fighters don't hurt, either. Plus, hackers and pirates love the DC for obvious reasons--naturally that wasn't intended by Sega, of course. The hardcore aspect probably is a factor as well. For some reason or another, I usually have maybe 7 PS2 titles at any given time, but far more DC titles. The DC just has more sorts of titles I want to play--arcade ports, shooters, odd and quirky Sega stuff, fighters. Either they aren't out for PS2, they've been on on DC and I got them, or I'd have to mutilate my system and spend a crapload to import to play the same games.

Vince saw how much fun that Donald Trump was having, and decided to do his own take on it. You know he's begging to pull out "SCREEEEW YOOOOU _____, YEEEER FI-ERRRED!!"

To play using your data over a friend's place, right? I'll have to admit it was hella cool to download stuff off those Exhibition discs, and they went straight to the hard drive. Although, yeah yeah schoolgirl outfit for the chick fighter, but where's Ryu's Ninja Gaiden costume, you bastards!?

^. All of those but MotW can be found for about 2 bucks in the DC bargain bins. Mark of the Wolves is supposed to be a horrible port, so even though I really like it, that's why I didn't mention it.

I have 5 PS1 memory cards: Action (Mostly platformers) RPGs Racing/Shooting Mega Man (Yeah, a whole memory card for my Mega Man datas. ) Games I don't own anymore or rented that I might buy (again). 3 PS2 memory cards--one official, two from Nyko. No particular sorting done on them. One Gamecube memory card (or whatever stupid name with "pak" in it they call it.) 4 Dreamcast VMUs. 1 N64 "controller pak." One Saturn 8 MB memory cartridge, which keeps all of my data safe when my Saturn battery kicks the bucket. "what the hell is a memory card? As an Xbox owner, I repeat this statement. " You'll find out if you get an X-Box 2....

I love Cannon Spike, mainly because it's mainly an expanded Robotron-ish shoot-tons-of-****-up game with bosses that seem to be straight out of an overhead shooter at times. House of the Dead 2 was kind of similar. I dig the fast-paced arcadey shooters even if I'm not too good at them. I don't recall the slowdown in Smash Pack, supposedly there's some in Sonic--but I already have Jam so it's no big deal. The sound is terrible, I'll admit, but I got the Pack for free, so I'd say it was a good deal. I was never much of a VC guy, so I don't know what you mean about Alpha 3, but the loading times and choppy animation of the PS1 version--I couldn't take it after getting used to RAM-cart-assisted Saturn fighters, even if the PS1 version was a far better conversation than thought possible for the PS1. Granted, I don't even like the game that much anyway, so for me at least it's a non-factor. Why did you add Project Justice to that list? It's like a Marvel vs. game in 3D, and the gameplay is just typical run-of-the-mill Capcom. It's not exceptionally deep or anything. I like it myself, but it isn't a game I'd bring up to try to woo people to the Dreamcast. Ecco, Code Veronica, and Space Channel are all on PS2, and I believe all improved in some way. Wasn't Ecco almost universally panned by most reviewers? Oh, and Chu-Chu Rocket > Final Fantasy 7 or 8

It seems like, to me, that the ratio of quality to crap on X-Box is higher than PS2 also. Sony lets lots of a crap be made for their systems. Take a look at your nearest Gamestop/EB at the used PS1 rack. The number of lousy titles you have to sift through to find anything good is astounding. The X-Box also has its share of quirky titles that are worth a shot. Try out Whacked! if you'd like a good offline party game. The gameplay isn't anything too innovative, but the presentation and humor are awesome.

So PS2 had, like, one really good game at launch (unless Klonoa 2 was a launch title)? So that should be enough to buy the system? Do we include games later ported to the PS2? Anyway, I'll humor you and list titles that weren't available for the PS2 and were pretty damn good (some were on other systems, but not PS2). Mars Matrix Virtual On: OT (yeah, the sequel was on PS2, but Marz was the drizlits). Seaman King of Fighters: Dream Match 99 Bangai-O Powerstone 1 and 2 Jet Grind Radio Ikaruga Skies of Arcadia Smash Pack Vol. 1 Vampire Chronicles Street Fighter Alpha 3, which was better than the PS1 version...if you care Fire Pro Wrestling D (dunno if the PS2 got one...) Tech Romancer Sword of the Beserk House of the Dead 2 Typing of the Dead Giant Gram Cannon Spike Seaman Samba de Amigo Oh, and the Quake III, Unreal Tourney for DC, and DoA2 (if you care for that one) supposedly both ran far better than the PS2 versions. MvC on DC might as well be an exclusive--not that you should care about it. However, there's also a ton of great DC games, mostly fighters, that were later ported to the PS2 (including SF3: Third Strike). Conservatively, maybe 30 or so. There are also titles that I think are good but kind of iffy, so I left those off the list.

Get it. As far as I know, X-Box Live is basically an option for most games. It's not required. The only ones I think basically require it is the Phantasy Star Onlines. I could be wrong, but I think Morrowind is a MMORPG, in which case you'd pretty much need X-Box Live to enjoy it. Some one else here might know. Oh, get Metal Slug 3 while you're at it.
-
So even with that statement, you still feel the need to justify it. Ah, denial. Sorry to sound like I'm picking on you, but I buy used 95% of the time, and it kills me to spend over 15 bucks for a game unless it's a niche developer.
-
I knew it. I fucking knew it. Goddamnit, Vince, do you have to act out your goddamn fantasies again? It's good to see that at least in some ways, Vince still is a genius. Don't you get it? She'd want to be off the B-show and onto the real flagship of the WWE, which is Raw.
-
No. That would be the Secret of Mana series. Lots of fighting, little story. Is Square even capable of making that sort of game anymore? I actually would prefer that to most of what they do now.
-
When's the last time he cut one? The 20 minute promo hasn't been a regular feature of Raw in a hell of a long time. --even though they cheered him against Jericho, of all people, the last times? Agreed. They were fine until that then the match went to hell. Plus Orton was going back to the rest hold crap and the finish was like..."huh?"
-
Spoiler: Torrie wins, because the WWE wants to remind you yet again that Raw > Smackdown. Well, at least they're right this time.

Yeah, but no one here puts much stock in your opinions, so . Also, the DC actually sold very well, but Sega had a poor ad campaign going on and couldn't quite capitalize on it to suck in others besides the faithful. It's really sad developers dropped the DC like a hot potato. I don't understand why the PS2 was so clamored for when it was released, since the launch line up was, frankly, really really lousy. Good titles on the PS2 early on were almost non-existent. Plus, there's some speculation that the DC is actually more powerful than the PS2 in a lot of ways. Compare some of the first-gen DC titles to the first-gen PS2 titles. Now, imagine what could likely be done on the DC right now. They both suffer from jaggies, but it's pretty well known the Cube and X-Box are far more powerful than either. Note that Anyanka's perspective is somewhat skewed because most of the titles she was interested in, the fighters, were mostly ported or sequeled to the PS2. Knowing how much I dislike cinemas in my game, I think my hatred for that particular title is quite clear. However, I agree with the basic premise--if you're going to do that many cinemas, DON'T BOTHER WITH THE GAME!! JUST DO THAT!! In fact, Advent Children is almost an admirable decision by Square, since they's dropping the pretense and going ahead with what they've really wanted to do ever since prepping FF:TSW. That's a bit close-minded. However, I believe given the advances of technology, the old games were far better than what we're seeing today. Granted, I loathe the Xenos. I also feel that the recent FFs have been in a real rut gameplay-wise, although I can't comment on the MMORPG one since I don't care for that genre, period. Also, while it is more of a strat title, stay the hell away from FF Tactics Advance. Wow, the gameplay is inferior and slower than the PS1 title that preceeded it, AND the story is a pandering, insulting load of crap with characters that you want to stab in the face? OMG GBA GOTY!! Basically, turn-based RPGs with overly-simplistic gameplay and the pace of a 3-legged box turtle can lick me. I've moved on. I expect it from the Square-heads who don't know any better, but the gaming press seem to still be hung up on it. I think either they're stupid or well-bribed. However, there have been some good RPGs as of late that break that monotonous FF mold. Kingdom Hearts, Dark Cloud 2, and the promising Tales of Symphonia are all more up my alley, for instance.

Canada loses "Coolest Crowd Ever" title
AndrewTS replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in The WWE Folder
Doesn't need to be a city if a region shares the same kind of crowd, and Canadian crowds are pretty much alike aside from minor differences. Thing is, THAT REGION (Quebec) is far different than most of the rest of Canada, except for the Bret Hart love. Sylvan sucks, though. You don't see Billy Gunn getting cheered in his hometown, after all.
