Yeah Gord is hilarious. It must be nice to own your own store and not have to tolerate others' stupid shit.
Great stuff. Love this one:
Not so much stupid as just funny:
The Cave is completely optional, but yeah it's been tough so far.
The Great Fairy no longer is hideous and has an insane-sounding laugh, though.
And doesn't look like an alien, either.
Little tip for folks before you go to the Lakebed Temple: you'll need the Water Bombs, which become available in the Kakakiro bomb shop whenever you need to get the zora armor. You don't have to go back to Lake Hylia the "long way"; the room where you get the armor has a bombable boulder in it.
Some one else with the game didn't know about the water bombs and ended up going there the long way and without the bombs, so just a heads up.
I haven't got too much of the main quest left--but I spent something like 3-4 hours today just on the sidequest stuff. There are a number of "mini-dungeons" containing heart pieces that are not all *that* mini.
One time a guy came in to a Gamestop with a big box of n64 stuff...many games were complete in box, and the store was going to give him like 25 bucks for it.
I offered 50. He gave it to me, and I ended up selling off half the games and the system itself (I had an N64 already).
I did end up keeping some of the games and still coming out ahead, with a few games I didn't have already and some strat guides too.

A really terrific podcast from 1up, covering retro games, Dragon Quest IX, and the state of portable gaming.
BBspot is great--the satire is often so subtle it's very believable. Especially just about all of their RIAA/MPAA articles.
You'd pretty much have to be an idiot or into nostalgia to a fault to get SF2; way too slow and crappy.
Good news on Super Castlevania IV, though.
Yeah, it's still too much. Should have really been some sort of preorder bonus, though. Neither one by itself really warrants a purchase, but would be nice swag.
I'm getting depressingly close to the end of the game. How the hell does a nearly 50 hour game fly by so damn fast?
Yeah, but I feel Wind Waker--touched-up control, great music, brilliant visuals, and all--is the most disappointing main Zelda game since Zelda 2; I still *like* it, though.
Tattoo Assassins: you may have heard of it because of the...two webpages that cover it.
Finally, someone compiled a video of (most of? all?) the finishing moves.

Remember that there aren't going to be as many Miis in your Plaza as in your Parade. Check the parade now and then--you can pluck Miis out of the parade and send them to the Plaza.
