Who else got a submission finisher? I only can catch Raw these days.
-
This has happened before already. Taker had Angle in the choke, but Angle jacknifed him and pinned him. Angle got choked out, but the ref was only paying attention to Taker's shoulders.
-
Taker Care of Business is his Dragon Sleeper, isn't it? They usually refer to the Gogoplata as "that submission hold!" or the triangle choke.

I'm suprised London/Kendrick haven't had any interaction with HBK since the move to Raw.
-
Didn't the Rockers try to work out their problems once? Heh, we all know how that shit turned out.

In all fairness, Knox was using it long before Kennedy started using it Steviekick and I actually had a long discussion about the seemingly rampant use of the Reverse STO and it's variations in pro wrestling. It just feels like I've seen way too many people using it right now as a signature or finish. Up until the last few years, it was very rare to see one wrestler use a move of another as a signature. I mean, there are always overlaps (DDTs, certain suplexes, powerbombs and chokeslams, etc), but when guys are winning matches with similar moves and they are being put over as a match finisher it is just kinda bizarre. The Reverse STO is to WWE as Movez~! ending in a backbreaker or michinoku driver are to Indy wrestling -
here's the trailer for those who want to see it. I just hope making Created Wrestlers doesn't suck as hard this year. I can't make very many accurate CAWs if I want to use them or trade them online because using Logos or designs that you have to move and/or size makes your CAW ineligible to be used online. This game also needs to fix the targeting (there wasn't any in 2008) and the submission system so everyone doesn't have the Camel Clutch, Boston Crab, Dragon Sleeper or the Bow and Arrow. I had to give my Kurt Angle CAW the STFU because no one would tap to the Ankle Lock.

According to Wikipedia, Santino Marella's finishers are a Triangle Choke and a Swinging Neckbreaker. I have never seen him beat anyone with those moves ever. The only move I've seen Santino win with is School Boy Rollup 3. -

It would be the shit if Sydal taught Mayweather that swinging DDT where Sydal jumps off someone's CHEST. -
3 Beef Tacos on flour tortillas from Paco's Tacos. If anyone here is from Downriver Michigan, I suggest checking it out. That place has the best Chicken Fajitas I have ever had.

YNA your sig is badass. Now with this Tito fight, is this his last contracted UFC fight or his last fight peroid? I've been out of the MMA loop for a while.

Let's Talk About..........The Natural Born Thrillers

I remember watching Velocity and O Haire kicked the shit out of some jobber. It was one of the most entertaining squashes I've ever seen. "Look at the LOOK!" I also remember Jindrak having the best Sub 5 minute match I've ever seen on Velocity with Doug Basham. If I find it, I'll try to post it in the YouTube Thread. -
I could see Cena being a decent color commentator with a little more enthusiasm.

How would that work? Lungblower straight into a Codebreaker when the guy bounces off Carlito's knees. Or a Codebreaker then the guy stumbles back into a Lungblower
-
I hope Carlito wins so we can get a Codebreaker/Lungblower combo in the MITB match.

He comes from the Rick Rude school of wrestling. Ted Dibiase must have been a guest instructor at that school.

Well I see that, you could argue people aren't that attached to Jigsaw. But then again, how do you get them to care about a character? You give them a reason to with a storyline. If there was one storyline Jigsaw had, it was the unmasking. Now? I dunno. Yeah, that's true. I guess this was more of a means just to make Jigsaw fit in with the Vulture Squad more (a group of thugs and a lucha guy, hmmm). a lucha guy from BROOKLYN mind you. -
I loved the PCS skits. "Adrenaline Rush" musical chairs was the shit.

I've heard it referred to as a "Plex-Breaker" in the Indy Circuit. It's like a lifting version of Rob Conway's Ego Trip if you remember that.

Feuds where both guys turned..... and continued feuding
DangerousDamon replied to Boxer's topic in General Wrestling
I suppose, but really- Shelly was more of a desperate asshole who was excommunicated, as opposed to a babyface by proxy. None of the other faces wanted anything to do with him, which is why I never considered him to have been anything other than a heel. The part that bugged me the most was that Shelley had cost Jimmy Rave his job, had his GenNext cronies beat up some of Nana's guys, but yet they welcomed him with open arms. -

Fan reaction aside, it still remains that they were turning both Taz and Sabu (and Rob Van Dam for that matter). Huh? There was no double-turn there. The GenBassy were heels going into the feud and coming out of it. Also, in late 1998, didn't Kane and Undertaker do a gradual double-turn (though not at the same moment, as, at one point, they were both heels) just before Kane joined the Corporation and Undertaker formed the Ministry? There was a double turn in the Generation Next/Embassy feud (sort of). Shelley got kicked out of GenNext and became a face. But GenNext kicked his ass at every single turn. He joined the Embassy for protection, causing him to turn heel. Generation Next were slowly turning babyface before Shelley even joined the Embassy. -

Just saw this today, and that camera kicked my ass. I knew it would be jumpy, but DAMN. A real fun movie, Hud is the man. The movie also had more blood than I'm used to seeing in a PG-13 Movie. Especially
