One and Only "ECW: One Night Stand" Thread
Eclipse replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in The WWE Folder
This was probably THE BEST PPV this year so far! Gotta love the Heyman shoot (It's EDGE! HIDE YOUR WIVES!) (JBL, the ONLY REASON YOU WERE CHAMP FOR ONE YEAR WAS BECAUSE HHH DOESN'T WORK ON TUESDAYS!) Tanaka/Awesome was a great match. Benoit/Guerrero could have been WAY better. The WWE invasion NEVER HAPPENED! At least the ECW fans got their chances to diss the WWE, with a fan spitting at Eric's face, and the biggest FUCK YOU SMACKDOWN chant EVER.. -
Triumph the Insult at the Michael Jackson trial.

Holy shit, that segment was PURE F'n GOLD! I was in tears! There has got to be a torrent of that file, or a download somewhere! It was GOLD. -
Matt Hardy confirms there is a Matt/Lita....
Eclipse replied to Eclipse's topic in General Wrestling
If there ever is a petition to get Matt to release those tapes, I ALREADY SIGNED IT..oyea... -
If they don't make a full change, at least a switch can happen. Maybe if Tazz announced with JR, because that was a great team during the Royal Rumble.
-
WOW, that's a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Of course, the reason will be the fact that the NBA Finals got a huge rating, but who knows at this point. I thought RAW was pretty good, and I didn't picture it getting a lower rating than 4.0.

It was a bit lackluster, I agree. Not alot stood out, though I did laugh during the parts those ppl lit themselves on fire, and then Fallon fuckin' Meg to start SNL..LOL.

As far as I know, the area of NJ I live in (North Jersey) is DEMOCRATIC to the max. In the county I live in, A HUGE percentage voted for Kerry, and everytime the elections for ANYTHING around here goes on, they always pimp the Democratic ticket. -
I heard this from a friend. He said he read this somewhere. In that movie, Mr. and Mrs Smith, SUPPOSEDLY, there is an awesome sex scene between Jolie and Pitt. If that is true....that could be a selling point...

Well, I have a bunch of videos that I wanna put onto a VCD. I tried making one with the Nero program I have, but it was TAKING A HUGE amount of time just to encode one video. The video was a 94MB file, and I was there for a good 20 minutes, and that video was only 5% encoded! Does anyone know any program that is better that Nero to make a VCD?

Damn it, I wanna view this, but the site won't load...

You can SO TOTALLY tell that pic was edited...LOL -
This is the only reality show that has caught my attention in YEARS. Just watching the chaos, the rambling and tearing apart of the customers...had me entertained. I had to flip back and forth during RAW just to watch this...lol

I haven't checked out his ROH, seeing as I don't have the chance to attend any of their shows, but I heard about them great matches he has been having. If he does come back to the WWE, change his gimmick at least. After a while, it just got boring...
-
I converted a video to MPEG-1, and then I went to burn it in Nero, and it said that it wasn't the correct format, and that it would be converted to the Video CD format during the burning. Uhh, isn't it already in the correct format? Nero takes forever to convert it. That was what I was trying to avoid..

Man, I wonder what crazy stuff the minds at the WWE would come up with for Teddy Hart. I love his work in JAPW, and his promos are fucking great, but Hart would be so TONED down if he ever gets to the WWE. Good to see he is getting a chance.
-
Awesome. WinAVI is really fast! Just doing my normal computer usage, and the program is converting everything pretty fast. I even found the crack for it, so I believe that WinAVI watermark is gone now.

All I know is that I was FUCKING happy after that stiff ass beatings that Victoria gave to the Divas. It was about something like that happened in the Women's Division..

http://cube.ign.com/articles/522/522559p2.html Q: Is Revolution "two-to-three times more powerful than GameCube"? A: USA Today reported this news based on a comment from Nintendo of America's vice president of corporate affairs, Perrin Kaplan. The information was later determined to be false. We do not yet know how much more power Revolution wields over its predecessor. Looks like the info was false. The specs might be more powerful! Also, check this info out. The Revolution specs MAY have been leaked online. First to break it was a site in China called Unika.com. Now backed up with more detail by a a so called developer that works at Factor5. The guy named Han_Solo at the G4 Forums states: I'm pretty sure the info I'm gonna release is already out in the Japanese news and Chinese, maybe Western also. But this info I have right now got to me in Feburary this year. So i dont know if you guys have seen it already, i hope not though. Also this info wasn't released by Nintendo themselves, so i might be taking a risk. lol. You ask about 2-3 times more powerful, what if its 20-30 times more powerful. Alright, here are some specs from my sources about Revolution. It is still not the complete or "Satisfied" specs, but they are the numbers that would rival xbox 360 and PS3. Revolution Specs: CPU: IBM Custom PowerPC 3.5 GHz + 4 internal Power PC G5 cores running at 2.5 GHz each. L1 cache: 128KB or 256KB L2 512KB - 1MB 2 Hardware threads per core, 8 total 12 billion dot product operations per second Theoritical of 10 GHz total + 3 GHz CPU speed Revolution GPU: ATI Custom based RN520 core. (The "N" stands for nintendo, and is because the ArtX team is with them) 2 GPU cores (like the nVidia SLI motherboard with two Graphics Chips using ATI's alternative, and will be the first in any console.) 256 MB GDDR4 + 16MB eDRAM (eDRAM is an onboard flash memory - just like the 3 MB on the GameCubes flipper) Core speed of 600MHz (Rumored at 500 MHz each). Polygon Performance: 500 million triangles/sec theoritical, average 100 Million/sec Shader Performance: 48 billion shader operations /sec 24 to 48 way parallel floating-point dynamically scheduled shader pipelines for each core with unified shader architecture. Revolution memory 512 MB (700 MHz Updated 1T-SRAM) PPU: The Revolution will support a PPU chip (Physical Processing Chip). This chip is very new to computer architecture, and it will mainly help in the physics area. It will have 32 MB’s of its own RAM, which will link to the CPU and GPU. To compare to the usage of physics used in current games, Half Life 2 only used 5 MB’s, Rebel strike used around 1.3 MB’s, and RE4 used 3 MB’s, but this is off main memory, which made performance issues. Sound: There will also be a separate sound card that will support only DD 5.1 – DTS 7.1, rumours has it will have 16 MB’s, like the Cube DSP. ---- For comparison - Xbox 360 CPU: 3 symmetrical cores running at 3.2 GHz each Theoritical of 9.6 GHz + 3.2 GHz CPU speed 2 hardware threads per core; 6 hardware threads total VMX-128 vector unit per core; three total 128 VMX-128 registers per hardware thread 1 MB L2 cace He also said that due to the 90 nanometer process in making these chips it will be cooler and cheaper than what many would think. Also, the system will fit easily into the smaller box due to this process as well! Interesting isn’t it, about the thought of “would u ever imagine RE4 graphics in 1999”. Remember how I said that, the next generation would make people’s eyes wide like the way Rogue Leader did, in 2002. The same thing is going to happen. In my technical opinion, remember the starting fight in space in the movie Star Wars Episode 3. That’s the graphics of next generation. That would be like the “next Rogue Leader”. This is some of my info on the PPU chip: The PPU was built by the company Ageia, and is named the PhysX chip. PhysX is the world's first Physics Processing Unit (PPU), an entirely new category of processor that promises to revolutionize gaming in the physics area. By offloading software physics processing from the CPU and GPU, the PPU completes the triangle of gameplay, graphics and physics, balancing the load of these processing tasks and enabling pervasive interactive reality in games. PhysX Processor Architecture has been designed to enable radical acceleration of: · Rigid body dynamics · Universal collision detection · Finite element analysis · Soft body dynamics · Fluid dynamics · Hair simulation · Clothing simulation There is an SDK program that runs with PhysX and is as follows: NovodeX Physics SDK This program called the NovodeX Physics SDK, is a stable, high-performance solution for game developers to enable physics-based gameplay and effects in PC and console titles. This has been used in Half Life 2 extensively and Far Cry. But CPU power handling this and other things isn’t good compared with a CPU doing what it was mean to do, like data flow, and a PPU with this program handling just physics (and can also add physics to the sounds produced), makes the games kick ass. A powerful API for the PhysX PPU, NovodeX enables game developers to inject both software-only and hardware-accelerated features into their games. The NovodeX Physics SDK is also the first and only asynchronous (multithreaded) physics API capable of unleashing the power of multiprocessor gaming systems, just like Xbox 360, PS3 and the Revolution. Well, I know there are doubters out there, but what makes this guy's claims important? The same guy "leaked" the XBOX 360 specs, and ALL THE SPECS he mentioned were 100% TRUE.

I have NEVER heard of WGN, I have only heard of that channel when the Cubs games on TV are being recapped, and then they mention that the game was on WGN... Does WGN even have a spot in cable TV in the Northeast? Because if they don't... they wouldn't be getting the major markets...

OAO Smackdown Thread for May 26, 2005
Eclipse replied to Masked Man of Mystery's topic in The WWE Folder
Looks like I won't be watching it. Yankees baseball, which is usually shown Friday nights, has replaced Smackdown tonight. -
Who knows? This guy was fully correct for the XBOX 360 specs. I hope he is batting a thousand. GOOD THING Revolution isn't going to be 2 to 3 times powerful.
-
That RAW army will have the ECW marks going crazy OR will have them hating it. Hell, I can see the entire ECW roster DESTROYING Bischoff's army, and Bischoff himself. It would be nice markout moment.
-
I never watched any show, but alot of ppl watched it because indy talent got a chance to wrestle on that part of the show, and of course the Cruiserweights got their chance.
-
I was kind of hoping that Flair wouldn't do the turn, but once he set himself up RIGHT behind Batista, that hope was gone. I actually thought that FINALLY Flair would realize HHH is using Flair, but once again, another heel turn.

I hate that little last minute remix of his song they made. It's basically the same damn thing, a bit slower for sinister value, and that annoying cell phone ring. The TitanTron video is all dark and gloomy as well...
