Yeah...you would think Tazz & Cole read WWE.com ...or would have at least spoken to their new boss in the last two days. -
University of Washington, Seattle Campus - Auditorium – 8 PM As the scene fades up, fans of the SWF are shown - having gathered together for a live question and answer session with the SWF’s own Cruiserweight Champion, Alan Clark. The room is filled to near capacity and soft murmuring can be heard from all corners. The lights begin to dim as Alan Clark takes the auditorium stage and steps up behind a podium. Dressing quite GQ in a golf shirt and slacks, Alan looks a bit out of place from his normal wear of t-shirt and jeans, but he seems comfortable nonetheless, his Cruiserweight Championship shining around his waist.. “Welcome ladies and gentlemen…fans of the SWF. I have come here this evening to answer any questions you might have. I can see they set up a microphone there and a few of you have already stepped up. Well, don’t be shy. I’ll be here for the next two hours or so.” A few fans line up behind those already standing and Alan waves for the first person to go ahead. “What’s your name and your question?” “The name’s John and I heard that coming up in a few days you are going to be facing against the former World Champion Tom Flesher…” his name garners a few cheers from the crowd, “…and I was wondering if you had thought of any strategy for the match.” “Well, my first thought was to simply call in sick that day and hope nobody noticed.” Alan quips, and some chuckling is heard, “but seriously, Tom Flesher is truly one of those one-of-a-kind gifted types of athletes that always tries to give 110% every time he steps into the ring, and it does have me a bit worried for my safety. Not as worried as going against a guy like the Thugg, but still worr…” “Not to interrupt…but what was it like knowing that you actually pinned Thugg?” “When I regained all of my senses in the ambulance, I wasn’t really sure if I had won the match. I didn’t remember much after I got about halfway down from the roof. That jump felt about ten times worse than the jump I made last Christmas against Todd Royal – but both outcomes were thankfully the same and now I get to tell my grandchildren that in a span of about eight days I became a champion and got a win on one of the largest and most dominant men in the business ever. I really hope they are proud of me, cause it’s getting hard to top myself… “You want to top yourself?! Try beating Landon Maddix once! You seem to have a tough time doing that!” through the darkness, the voice booms out toward the stage. A few others gasp, and Alan turns his attention to where he believes the voice came from. “Now now, I do hold one win over Landon Maddix, I took the European Title from him en route to being a double champion. Don’t you remember that?” “Of course I do, but do you remember all the other times when you FAILED!” “Yes I do, and I know that failure is simply a part of life and it happens to everyone and I have accepted it and learned to deal with it…it just seems that Mr. Maddix has not done the same thing.” Alan speaks in reference to the attack from Lockdown. “I was out pleasing folks just like yourself and Maddix took it upon himself to hit me in the back of the head and take off running like a coward.” “LANDON MADDIX IS NOT A COWARD!” The voice screams out. “Well you sure seem to be, hiding in those shadows over there. Does the House of Todd meet in total darkness so as not to embarrass anyone? Can somebody get a spotlight over there?” Alan asks and the spotlight shines across the audience… “I AM NOT EMBARASSED!!” …revealing Landon Maddix getting to his feet!! “How dare you insult me and the rest of the House of Todd. These people out here are loyal disciples that follow the Book of Todd just like you should be doing!” The crowd boos toward Maddix and he turns his attention toward them…”Don’t act like that towards me! I’ve pinned your World Champion! You have no right to treat me with such disrespect…and YOU…” Landon’s attention is turned back to Alan…”you are nothing more than an unworthy paper champion. You’ve always need weapons or cars or voices in your head to win your battles for you!! All I ever needed was skill and the teachings of Todd! I watched you get hauled away by that ambulance at From the Fire and I knew that we would never hear the end of it…and look where we are now. All you ever talk about is how you beat Thugg and are some kind of savior to the SWF… …YOU ARE NO SAVIOR!!” Landon moves away from his seat and out into the row of people waiting behind the microphone, shoving past them till he gets to it and pushing John to the floor. “Look at you with that happy little smirk on your face. Do you think I should be afraid of you just because you beat Thugg? He was old! Washed up! Finished! He came out of a wheelchair for crying out loud…and you think you are special! What about Landon Maddix? HUH? I pinned Charlie Matthews, the traitor, in the center of the ring! Another time and place, and you could be standing behind that silly little podium looking down at your new World Champion! All I see when I look at you is a loser! That Cruiserweight Title would be better served as a paperweight than around your waist! I may not stand eye to eye with Tom Flesher, but I for one and hoping that by the end of Storm that I don’t see that title around your waist. As much as it would bring me joy and pleasure to beat you again and again and again for that belt, it would mean more to me as a wrestler and as a person to be able to tell my friends, my family, and my fellow House of Todd members that I defeated “The Superior One” for the Championship, because looking at you up there, beating you means nothing to me anymore. Déjà vu only goes so far, and then it becomes nothing more than a waste of my precious time, just like being here. So let me give you a message for Tom Flesher…when you are laying on your back in that ring and the referee is trying to wake you up…try and grab Tom’s attention and tell him to keep that belt nice and warm…cause it’ll be mine soon.” With those final words, Landon turns and walks out of the back of the auditorium, leaving the students to get back to their feet, and leaving Alan Clark standing on the stage, his eyes burning with rage, his hand rubbing across his championship as the scene fades out.

FDA Issues Suicide Warning on Antidepressants
The Amazing Rando replied to a topic in Current Events
This is more a problem of giving them to children and having those kind of affects. I've actually never heard of children being given Prozac and the like...always adults or at least teens over 16. I didn't know about this till just now, but even if my child was seriously depressed, I wouldn't drug them up. I would try just about anything else...but not drugs. I've been through therapy and I know that in some cases even the therapy can be worse than the actual depression, because in therapy is harder to block things out. That...and my therapist was a bastard. But the thing is...if I start taking a drug...and it makes me want to kill myself...the LAST thing i'm going to do is keep taking it. I'd rather just be sad and depressed than suicidial. EDIT: Wait...I do know one girl that was given antidepressents when she was 13 or 14 for bi-polar disorder... and she actually ended up trying to commit suicide around the age of 16, and her sister saved her life. I don't talk to her much lately (that was 5 years ago), but she seems more jovial when I do get a chance to talk to her. -

(Jesus Christ stands in the middle of the ring) "Well, it seems, uh, like I've done this before. And uh, this time, unfortunately for me, it's much more serious than last time. I've never had, um, God look at me in the face and say, uh, that I may never be able to perform miracles again. And I was, uh, I was told that the other day. Of course, you know I, it's something that I truly believe. The fact is it's something that I am going to have to deal with. Time has taken it's toll on, on my body and my soul. Well there's uh, one thing about me is I can't do anything halfway and I, and I come here and I hear the people talk about how I might brought something new into the world... and one thing's for sure, you're going to have all of that in the future, um, and that's what I want for the Christianity fans. In spite of, uh, what people may think about me, what I've always wanted for all these people is, is for them to have a good time and to enjoy themselves. I've always tried to be the one to provide it whether it was on the good side or the bad side. But what was always important to me was the performance, so that these people didn't regret it because they knew that if they saw me they could yell, they could come and they could cheer and they could boo and they could do whatever they wanted as long as they had a good time. Over the last couple of months, uh, there's been a lot of talk of people, uh, having bad attitudes and a lot revolving around all of this. Uh, all I know today is that one thing that's not going to revolve around this for a long time is going to be Jesus Christ. I don't know where I'm at right now. I have to, uh, I have to have everything checked out. I may have... I may be beyond help. I may, or may not be able to fix it all. But if I can't come back and perform at the level I performed at, before...I can't, I can't perform. I can't come to you and just go half-ass. I have to come out here and I have to praise and worship and I have to get tossed around. I have to take beatings and I have to have a little fun too. The schedule over the last year I took on because I didn't feel like I could say no. I wanted to do everything. I wanted to enjoy my life as the Savior. I wanted to, I wanted to walk on water and travel the world, and I got to do every bit of that. If nothing else, I have all of that to take with me. Again, and I know right now we're in the middle of a time where toughness is real big here, and unfortunately all I've got right now for you is a lot of sorrow, a lot of tears, and a lot of emotion. I don't have any toughness for anybody, so I guess, here you go, here's your Savior. What I'm going to do is go back home and see what's left for me; whether it'll be in this life...whether it'll be out of this life. I know that over the, uh, the last several months I've lost a lot of things and one of them has been my smile. And, and I know it doesn't mean a whole lot to everbody else, but it means a lot to me. So I have to go back and fix myself, and take care of myself, and I have to go back and I have to find my smile because somewhere along the line I lost it and I don't care, really, I don't care if it's unpopular, and I don't care if, uh, people want to make fun of me because I'm an emotional guy. But, um, this is all I've ever wanted to do and uh, over the last year I got to do it and whether you like me or not, I just want to tell you that, uh, last year was the most wonderful year of my life. And, uh, if I never do get to do it again, it'll be okay because I got to live one full year as being the number one guy in this world and it was the single greatest year of my life. And I have you to thank, and I have everybody here to thank, and it means a lot to me and, uh, I'm gonna go home now. Okay?" -

It seems that there is not a very clear definition running around as to what exactly "heat" is or what it means to get, steal, or stop heat. I was always under the impression that "heat" was to a heel what a "pop" is to a face. Am I right? What could be the reason that some wrestlers get heat only during their entrances? (i'm not talking canned heat...i'm talking LIVE). Is silence a form of 'heat'? by that i mean "we hate you, so we ignore you"... or is that X-pac heat (Even though I always say that kind of heat as "yes we see you, now get the fuck out of here") Now...if silence IS IN FACT a form of heat... then some wrestlers need to stop acting as though the fans are booing the fuck out of them and actually ACKNOWLEDGE the silence. The whole point of the crowds is to annoy the fuck out of the heels while cheering on the face. In some matches, the fact that there is silence could be seriously played up as "the crowd simply ignoring what the heel is doing" ...it will NEVER be played that way... but it wouldn't hurt to try it. This would ESPECIALLY help Orton... and that is NOT an insult or a flame to him or anyone else... but the simple fact that he comes out and does his poses and thinks he is hot shit to ALMOST silence makes me think he should just tell the fans to screw off and be silent if they want...and call it an "awe of silence" ...that would more than likely make the fans liven up just to piss him off. I mean, as a mark...I would seriously hate the guy... just cause he acts like a pompous ass...but if he told me the reason I wasn't saying anything is because I was in awe of him...then as a mark I'd be throwing out "asshole" and "you suck" chants like crazy... ya know, to get my point across as a fan that "hey, I hate you". This could also apply to anyone that runs around Raw and Smackdown now that has either a) no heat or b) less than desirable heat.
-
When his promo aired last Monday...he got "BOO!" right at the start...it quickly turned to NOTHING while he talked...which could be because the fans wanted to listen... I guess. I mean... there was heat there...but hardly anyone gets sustained heat, even through promos, unless they are deliberately playing to the crowd.
