South Carolina loses to Ole Miss on a pretty tough call from the refs. Carolina hit what was originally called a three to tie it with about 2 seconds left, then intercepted the inbounds pass with .9 left. The refs reviewed the three, and ruled it a two because the shooter had his foot on the line, but to me, the replays were just too close to overrule that call in such a big point in the game. Carolina inbounded the all, but missed the last shot.

I'm there, but I don't see alot of people being able to get there. I propose Saturday afternoon. Some of us (Al, Treble, Myself, MiB) have our fantasy league draft at 7:30 Saturday, but I guess we can try to knock out a few rounds of this beforehand.

I got it from some site once. It's not graphic at all, you don't see them actually be decapitated by the blades because it's so sudden and there's so much going on. Thing is, they probably would have survived had the helicopter fell to the other side, with the blades away from them, since the body of the copter would probably have protected them from any debris of the blades or anything.

Well, Belichick's not stupid; he always had a safety helping Brown out in coverage, because if Troy was man-to-man against someone, he probably would have gotten lit the fuck up every time. As previously stated, Brown was going to count for $5 million against the cap. He didn't want to play D anymore, and if he stayed, he would have been at best the 3rd receiver (the 4th if either Patten stayed, or they got someone like Mason). If you're over the cap and this guy would count for $5 million in 2005, wouldn't YOU try to knock a little money off? Belichick just does not get "attached" to guys; if you don't fit into the program any more, you won't be on his team.

I think he broke his neck when he hit the turnbuckle, and the trauma caused his heart to stop beating, which explains the lack of blood. When Lawler went into the ring, he was already dying.

So I guess his Balco shipment finally got delivered. $1500 for a ticket to a fucking SPRING TRAINING game.......insanity. So, did the Yankees show their Wang off? Of course, Dinosaurs ended up doing a "special episode" for the finale, where the dinosaurs went extinct because Earl messed with nature and killed some plants, or something like that. I think it was something about the carnivores suddenly developing a taste for plants and ate all of them up, forcing the herbivores to declare war on them and a nuclear war erupts, causing a nuclear winter that freezes them all to death. I might be mixing episodes, but I clearly remember Robbie being "drafted" to fight in a war in an episode that was made to look like an old newsreel.

Classic. Anyway brief thoughts: good setup for the AM main event(s) in the opening segment and later on in the night. The Joy of X match sounds REALLY interesting to read. Count me in the people that are wondering where this Prince Killings character is going (heh, Michael Mole). Crystal's heel promo was great, as it was heelish, but it made sense logically. Big props for the main event and subsequent events with Black T "removing" Zack from their group. Looks like I started reading regularly again at the right time (no Hoff, I'm not coming back yet).

PK's always had Oh Hell Yeah (an alternate Steve Austin theme on WWF the Music Vol. 5(?) that I don't think was ever actually used). The Dream Machines used "California Love" by Dr. Dre.

So I caught the premiere of this tonight, and I think we've found a show to slip into the original show's timeslot once it ends (which should probably be soon, since viewership has dropped a lot since Orbach left). I loved the "360 view" of a trial that the show provides, from the DAs coaching the witness to the defense attorney practicing her opening statements in front of a mock jury, to the deliberations in the jury room (which was a bit glossed over, but I guess certain episodes will emphasize certain portions more over the others). The cast is also pretty good, especially with Bebe Neuworth playing the DA. She's got the attitude of Jack McCoy, but she's got a little more sass to her. I think I've seen the woman that played the defense attorney on L&O before as well. And it's nice to see good ol' Lennie Briscoe back on screen, even though the episode tomorrow will be the last one with him in it. He plays more of a bit part, but he had some good lines. Woman behind door: "I want to see your badges." Lennie (to partner): "We don't need no stinkin badges." Woman: "What was that?" Lennie: "I said that people LOVE to see our badges."

The selection show is around 7PM. I'll set up one of those "fill-a-bracket" things on Yahoo for bragging rights, I guess.
