  1. I also have to go with Curt Hennig. At KOTR '93 (not sure if it was the first round against Mr. Hughes or in the Semi's with Bret), there was a spot where he was irish whipped hard into the corner and he did a forward flip, held his back and was just screaming in pain. I know he has a bad back, but come on? A forward flip? Dames
  2. No, this isn't LOP's Raw Report. Mr. Tito just writes his thoughts on Raw in this column, not a rundown of the events that took place. I used to read LOP back in '98 when I first "discovered" the IWC, mostly for the news. Mr. Tito gained popularity because he had this gimmick where he wrote a long ass column every day...and did it for over a year. It got him over to the point that now he practically co-owns LOP, if I'm not mistaken. The main problem with Tito (besides his writing skills themselves, but then again, who am I to talk) is that he doesn't do his homework. I can't count how many times I've read a column of his that included him actually saying that he didn't watch the match in question, but here's my opinion from what I read. Sometimes, he just has straight up factual errors in his columns, which don't exactly make him seem credible. Dames
  3. Amazingly...I get bored quickly. Besides I love answering questions. Especially about myself for some reason. Dames
  4. Wait a second Cavi...keep in mind that Buffy Season 4 isn't out in the U.S. Not everyone has region free DVD players like yourself. Mole, Angel Season 1 is definitely worth a buy, however, there are a few Buffy/Angel crossovers that lose its effect since you'll only be able to see the 2nd half. I'm not going to buy Angel til Buffy Season 4 is out in June just to preserve them. Dames
  5. Because....You can. That is all. Dames
  6. Wow, either I'm becoming too much of a fanboy, or you are losing your touch Dames. Friday is our godesses' brithday, dummy! Hey Peter.... I sure got you February 21st is always a holiday for me. In all honesty, mentally, I'm behind on my calendar. I thought Wednesday was the 20th and two weeks ago, I thought that No Way Out was that Sunday. Man, I'm all screwed up. I need to get a new planner. Dames
  7. I'd love to no sell the Pedigree. The SQL functions will be fixed next week. I don't want to fuck with the board until after No Way Out because I expect record numbers. Dames
  8. That's the Domokun.. Respect it. Dames
  9. Kingpk, if Friday is Steak & BJ day, then yes, I'll see if I can take the day off. Sandman...its the best version of the song. Kotz, SP owns you. Dames
  10. Considering that I was mostly a WWF fan in '89, I wasn't into the NWA nearly as much and can't remember the year as a whole. I know that they had some of the best matches and feuds of all time, however, I saw all of 2000 and was able to be more engaged because of it. I didn't understand wrestling and psychology when I was 9 and I was still a mark and looking back on tapes just isn't the same when you're trying to judge an entire year, so I'm going to have to go with 2000 WWF by default. As for Metal Ed, I'd probably fuck him. Just so you guys know... I'm fucking bored, so let's start this again. Try to make it serious questions this time... Dames
  11. Allow me to chime in here.... As someone who watches TNA week after week, I have to disagree with some of you. Vince Russo has become the focus of the program as of late and S.E.X. are his thugs...they aren't getting any more over than they were when he was gone and the only person getting over (or trying to) is Russo. Whether or not you find that entertaining is up to the viewer, but for my money, I'd like to see some good WRESTLING mixed with my sports entertainment. In the whole time that Russo has been there, there have been less than 5 matches that have been ***1/2 or above, in my opinion. Prior to that, we were getting amazing X Division matches every week, the X title wasn't a joke...hell, if this was EWR, imagine where the Title Image for the X title would be right now? Not everything that he's done has been horrible, such as using Raven and Sanders and lower wrestlers/valets such as Siaki and Desire, but why couldn't they do that without Russo? Dames
  12. Well, I have an older "black box", which isn't even the same as yours, GeniusMoment. Basically, my cable box itself is a black box...I don't connect anything. It's literally on all day. As for getting caught, I've had mine since 1996, so I'd say 7 years is a pretty damn good time. *gets arrested* See, the way ours works is that we have a button that gives us all of the frequencies...so if a bullet is thrown, all we have to do is press the button a few billion times and it comes back. No fuss, no muss. Dames
  13. Zsasz, you're the George Clooney Batman. NBT...there's no chain on your chainsaw. *Dames pulls out glock and shoots him in the sack* Dames
  14. EQ bitches about that to me ALL THE TIME when discussing Superman 2. Zod does indeed rule though. Dames
  15. WHO DO JOO THINK JOO ARE, MENG! *Shotgun blast to the back* Dames
  16. *Shoots him in the head, Vic Mackey style* Bulletproof THAT, NBT. Dames
  17. See, that's what I don't get. I don't know about you, but the way the boxes around here work is that you put the channel on...and its on. No ordering involved. Why pay 10 bucks (when only about 4 or 5 of which goes to TNA) when you can just....not?
  18. Not to mention put over Low-Ki by actually apologizing to him on camera for comments he made the week prior when trying to look like a bad ass and then telling him he was his favorite X Star. Dames
  19. So you decided to put more hours at your job? Why didn't you just stay home and do your essay? Dames
  20. Got to agree with HartFan there. Barely reached ** IMO. Dames
  21. I'm at work, but no one's really here. I wish I could leave, but I can't just yet. There's a lot of businesses closed here and major universities in the area are closed. What about where you guys live? You get the day off? Dames
  22. If he didn't say it 5 times in 3 minutes, it would have been more effective. Dames
  23. Was that the Smackdown where Austin trapped Hogan and Nash and beat up on Hall? Dames
  24. I agree about the fact that it's not good for business, but as long as they've been dating, it makes sense for them to get engaged, given their ages. Do you really think that HHH just wanted a fling here? If he ever ended it, he'd be dead and he knows it. Dames
  25. Jester, I'm just curious, why do you always wait until Meltzer confirms? 1wrestling might not be everyone's favorite source for information for whatever reason, but Dave Scherer usually doesn't put up anything without verifying his sources. Dames
