  1. Season 3 Episode 1: The time has jumped three years and the hanging plotline of the attack on Palmer was written off with the line "we caught the people who tried to kill you." Palmer is now campaigning for his re-election and has come back to LA for the first time since the attack. His brother is now his top aide. Almeda and the chick he was seeing last season are married and both working at CTU. Almeda's head of the intel crew at CTU. Jack's head of the field agents at CTU and is all fucked up from his last big mission, involving the bust of a Mexican druglord. He's addicted to heroin(?) because of it. A dead body infected with a fast-acting biological agent was dropped off at a hospital and the people who did it have threatened to unleash it on LA unless the Mexican druglord in question is released. The Mexican druglord was about to cut a deal with the government when he suddenly killed his own lawyer with the pen he was using to sign his deal. A kid from a family in serious debt has smuggled a bag of what he thinks is drugs across the Mexican border. It actually contains the virus in a crystalline form. Kim Bauer is working at CTU as one of Tony's researchers. She's also dating Jack's new partner. Thanks. I've seen enough random episodes and previews to get me through the season on that info and I might ask a few more questions as it goes along.
  2. Vince does draw great heel heat...so use him to enhance not to be the main focus. He's a great heel, but he's not bringing the casual fans back and he's not helping the buy rates.
  3. Yeah I don't watch this show much and even I agree that they showed way too much in the previews.
  4. Whoa next week looks awesome.
  5. What was the rating for RAW last night?
  6. I've marked out for both Principal Wood from Buffy and the lady from The Shield in this episode.
  7. I mark for old school Survivor Series matches and I'd probably enjoy both of them as long as the better wrestlers carry most of the workload.
  8. To play Devil's Advocate...if WWE died most of their talent would go to TNA and give them the needed boost to probably get a TV deal. But then again if WWE ever died it would be years from now and TNA would have either already gotten a TV deal or died out.
  9. Hey the WWE makes it so easy to pick apart that it's hard to pass up. I almost have fun doing it now that I'm doing a RAW Recap.
  10. I'm gonna try and watch this show this season. I've put off getting into it for too long now. What did I miss so far this season? I'm watching tonight's episode and this is the first I've seen of this season.
  11. I've come to the conclusion that it's fun to make fun of WWE and that's why people still watch.
  12. I don't want WWE to die, but I want them to come close enough that they wake the hell up!!
  13. You know not every indy wrestler does "spot, rest, spot, rest." I've downloaded and seen some matches that actually incorporated some nice psychology. You just have to pick the good from the bad as you do anywhere.
  14. I'll be writing the backstage segments and match between DM's and the UGW team.
  15. I had a feeling they would ask London to slow down his ring work after watching him a couple of times. He does move pretty fast and even I think he could benefit from literally slowing down, but still using the same moves. He looks like he's having a major sugar buzz in the ring.
  16. Oh I find it hilarious and quite satisfying. These are the only things that are going to get WWE's attention finally....we hope.
  17. If so then good we made our dent in the numbers...........yeah I can dream.
  18. Wow I keep hearing that, but these numbers aren't exactly showing that. Are you sure you didn't mean he used to be one of the biggest draws? Do any fans care about the McMahons anymore? What exactly draws nowdays? WWE has been in the 3 - Lower 4 range in ratings for two years now! Every week when the ratings come out we wanna say "this draws" and "this doesn't" but truth be told none of it is making that big a difference because the ratings are still well within the average for the last couple of years. Most of the time it depends on what the show is going up agianst on TV that day.
  19. Hey, push Nathan Jones to the moon! He's new! I fail to see what's so evil about "the IWC" wanting them to push talented new guys, as opposed to just any new guy just because he's new. Yeah...I have no idea what this guy was babbling about. Does he assume that when we say "push new guys" we want them all pushed? Even the sucky ones? Now THAT would ruin our credibility. Just push everybody would be stupid because not everybody is ready for it. I have no problem with "hoss hate" because every damn new hoss that comes in does the same moves and if they try any new moves they usually end up almost killing someone. I have a little trouble believing that I should just wait for a few more matches before judging. Are they dogging it on purpose so that I'll be shocked when they don't??
  20. Okay I don't find Jessica Simpson that pretty. Out of all those pop star girls I find her the least pretty in fact. And nepotism is rearing its ugly head isn't it?
  21. I think that's a girl sitting in the chair behind him. Either that or a really skinny guy.
  22. I never said they were outstanding, but they're more motivated than the rest of the roster seems to be and they have been known to put on good matches. RVD has been making some changes lately. He's added or readded a couple of moves to his set. (Northern Lights Suplex and that cannonball move) Booker has been pretty crisp since coming back and still has some okay heat. Although that probably won't last long if he slips into not doing anything again.
  23. RAW has good wrestlers. Jericho, Christian, RVD, Storm, Booker T, and the women wrestlers. Say what you will about them, but they've been busting their asses for a long time now to keep RAW from being nothing but bad matches. Tonight's RAW showed me that the women are some of the unsung heroes...err heroines (sp?) of RAW because they bust ass each week. Trish and Victoria took what could have been a disaster of a match and made it watchable. Overall those who have been saying it are right...RAW has managed to get most of their roster involved in something. Smackdown has a bunch of people just wandering in limbo.
  24. I will be writing the Blurricane/Shuffle match tomorrow (Tuesday morning/afternoon) I promise. I've been pretty busy today and couldn't work on it.
  25. Holy crap! Strong Bad's "Comments on fan Halloween Costumes" is hilarious! "Those squirrels' rates are...pretendous!"
