  1. I just rewatched Reloaded after reading this article and it helped me understand it way more. Alot of what was said in the first post of this thread makes sense.
  2. I'm watching Matrix Reloaded and I think the lady who played Link's sister (I think it was his sister) is the lady who played Jasmine last season on Angel.
  3. Are you serious!? Wow I thought Season 7 reruns weren't starting until December or January.
  4. People in the theaters will be booing the whole time during the Napster part.
  5. Generic angst lyrics, mediocre sampling, poor rapping, and a whiny idiot singer. They're so generic it's sad. A bunch of guys singing angsty lyrics when most of them probably haven't lived a bit of what they're singing about.
  6. James' scene at the end of "Beneath You" was the best.
  7. Because I found it too slow, repetitive, didn't have any stand-out episodes, and I felt the overall story-arc was too weak. WHAT?? No stand out episodes? "Lessons," "Same Time, Same Place," "Selfless," "Conversations with Dead People," "Sleeper," "Showtime," "Get It Done," "Dirty Girls," and best of all "Chosen." Those are just off the top of my head. Season 7 doesn't get that much love from me because 5, 3, and 6 I just like better. Superstar, best sig I have seen in a long time. I just put that as my desktop because it's gansta. I don't know about "Same Time Same Place" but "Conversations with Dead People" is one of my favorites of any season.
  8. Hey!!! "A New Man" is an awesome episode!!
  9. I really like Season 6 too.
  10. I think this show is finally finding it's groove. This season looks really good so far. It makes sense since most shows take till about half way through their second season or the beginning of their third before they really find their groove. The first season of Smallville was moster of the week the whole way through until the cliffhanger finale. Season two had a little more of a arc with Clark's calling, the caves, his mom's pregnancy, and Evil Clark. Now Season three looks to really step it up.
  11. If you really think about Season 4 it's main storyline was Spoiler (Highlight to Read): the Initiative and that was basically touched on in every episode except maybe Restless. It may not have been much, but there were glimpses of the cammando guys and stuff like that. The whole idea behind it was kind of cool too. A military organization that was harvesting demons to study and run experiments on. And of course make Adam. I used spoilers since the person that started this thread hasn't got that far.
  12. Dames here's a rundown of the episode: We start of the show with Angel and Co. taking a break on a hillside to discuss things without W&H hearing. During the talk Angel sees a girl being chased by a werewolf and goes to save her, but she gets bitten before he can kill the werewolf. Angel kills the werewolf with Wesley's pen, but the girl has ran off. The girl goes home where she lives with her sister and her niece. She notices she has heightened senses and even has a halucination of slashing her niece's throat. (Angel has been a lot more violent this season I noticed and next week has a "graphic scenes" warning!!) Her sister asks her to babysit that night. Angel begins trying to find the girl before she turns to a werewolf while a new doctor examines the dead werewolf/man. Spike shows up for a little taunting. Later Spike talks to Fred and tries to convince her to work on his situation. He even goes as far as making up a BS story about him and Wes having a "past" when she tells him to just go to Wes about it. She calls him on being full of crap though. The werewolf girl (Nina) starts turning while babysitting and has to go upstairs before she attacks. Angel comes in and uses a tranquilizer and brings her to the office where he puts her in a cage. When she wakes in the morning Angel shows her video footage of her turning back into a human to convince her it's real. She says he wouldn't understand, but he says he's a monster too. Which makes her ask if he's a Frankenstein, which Angel seems to be offended by. He tells her he's a vamp with a soul and all. Fred takes Nina back to her house to get some things to keep in the cage with her so she might feel more secure. Nina gets in an argument with her sister and Fred tries to say it was her fault because she was a frantic friend who called her up. On their way out of the house they're attacked by a bunch of men in ski masks and Fred goes crazy with a tranquilizer gun, but they still manage to take Nina. Angel and Co. try to figure out who took her when Spike catches Fred's attention and leads her to the office of the new doctor from earlier. (Spike is barely visable and not answering Fred while doing this) In the room Fred finds some drug that shielded the new doctor's aura from Lorne when he sang and Fred realizes he's evil. Fred knocks the doctor out and they search his office to find that he works for a guy who serves werewolfs as food at a resturaunt. The man who took Nina has her ready to serve on a table (since werewolves have to be eaten alive or they'd just turn back human again after death) Angel busts in to save her and during the fight she (in werewolf form) kills one guy and then bites the evil doctor's leg. Meaning he'll be a werewolf and probably be eaten by the guy later. For some reason Angel leaves the guy be and just takes Nina home. Angel then invites everyone to his penthouse apartment at W&H and has a little party where he says there might be something between him and Nina..."she gave him a look" Next week Spike is haunted by other dead people and we even get a warning about GRAPHIC SCENES AND PARTIAL NUDITY!!!!....sadly it's Spike who's partially nude and not Fred.
  13. Basically a kid from school is killing off people who have kryptonite enduced abilities because one of them killed his father. He goes to kill Lex because Lex has survived three near death events and never been sick so obviously he's been effected somehow. (Although Lex had malaria while on the island didn't he???) It was revealed that Lex has an unusually high white blood cell count which helps him heal faster. Clark finds out who the guy is going for and saves Lex, but in doing so the guy finds out Clark's reaction to Kryptonite (because the killer was leaving meteor rocks with the word "freak" written on them by his victims). So he makes Kryptonite bullets and shoots Clark. Johnathan manages to dig the bullet out and save Clark. Lana is taken hostage by the killer and Clark goes to face him. The killer unloads a machine gun full of kryptonite bullets at Clark right in front of Lana, but Clark keeps coming. Lana uses the distraction to whoop the killer's ass by kicking him into a glass trophy case. Clark reveals that he was wearing a lead plate to block the bullets. Throughout the show Lana had become upset because the killer had saved her life at the beginning of the show when one of the killer's victicms had been attacking Lana at the time he was killed. So Lana felt he was trying to save her and Clark told her it wasn't that way. Lana got mad at Clark and said that things would have been better for everyone if the meteor shower had not happened. At the end of the show Lana is talking to Clark and said that she almost believed the killer when he told her that Clark was bullet proof. She also said that if Clark had been effected by the meteors that it was okay, but Clark still didn't tell her. Other side things: Chloe tried to quit working for Lionel but he threatened to mess with her Father's life if she quit and Lionel revlealed that he has access to all her files on her computer and even locked them from being deleted (the killer in this episode got his info by hacking Chloe's computer so she was going to delete her files on meteor affected people) Lionel also found out that Chloe had been keeping a file on Lex and he told her never to do it again or else. And Clark is back working for the Torch again.
  14. She has that overly chipper attitude that I find annoying.
  15. Tonight's episode was pretty good, but I'm not sure I understand where they're going with Lex and his incredible white blood cell count. And what's up with next week's episode???
  16. Yeah Eve is becoming annoying. I think what was missing from tonight's episode was the characters we've been introduced to or reintroduced to this season were'nt there. Knox, Eve, and Harmony all weren't there. It made the episode feel out of place.
  17. Something I've noticed that's been bugging me is that Spike is always holding his coat closed. Why is he doing that? Is it a little quirk that Joss added to make it seem like he feels cold???
  18. It's only the third episode. Last season the third episode was that Vegas episode and it was pretty weaksauce except for the end where Cordy returned.
  19. I thought the episode was okay. These early season episodes are sometimes a little weak. But next week looks messed up...graphic images and partial nudity??? Wow that's a first for Whedon shows.
  20. CC isn't fat at all.
  21. Something has always irked me about Edge. I can't really put my finger on what it is though. As far as people on the board I don't hate anyone, but there are some who annoy me to no end, but I'm here to have fun so I'm keeping it to myself who it is that annoys me as to not cause trouble.
  22. What was the name of the cartoon that had Bigfoot, the guy from Narc, a Basketball Player, and the guy from Iron Sword in it?? Not that it was a bad cartoon, but their choices for characters was odd.
  23. Holy crap the scenes of Angel and Wesley dancing at the end of "She" were hilarious!! (It was the episode on TNT today)
  24. The Boot Camp stuff and Blurri-Rangers will be lighthearted mostly, but sometimes serious. Don't worry it's not another stable being put together. It's more of backup for Blurricane and they'll wrestle too.
  25. The formatting problem was mostly due to the fact that I finished the show and everything before I noticed that I forgot to put the Dream Machines match in and I had to find a place to stick it. That kind of threw everything off. EDIT: What did everyone think of the Blurricane Boot Camp segments, the Blurricane/PRL stuff, and the Dream Machines match? Those are the things I wrote. The Boot Camp segments suffered because of the fact that I had to write so much freakin stuff for this show. So expect them to get better over the next few weeks.
