The fact you keep referring to me as one of "you people" pretty much says it all. You're clearly ignoring everything that's being said or is going on due to steadfast bias, so I'm through. The very fact you've got an "other name" to hide behind to stick around these "you people" proves it. See now we're kinda getting somewhere. Fair enough. But for the board to be better, then surely the alternative, Leena, would have gone some way to improving all these things that were declining? That didn't happen. So if the things that were bad haven't improved then how can it be 'better'? There's no evidence to suggest that membership, vistors and views had improved under Leena or since the 'Maff guys' have left. Anyone could have seen that handing the board over to Leena was risky at best and going to provoke the reaction it did at worst. And it's clearly not just the Maff guys who weren't thrilled at the prospect of someone as blatantly and self-awaringly volatile as Leena taking over. The fact is, even if Leena did have high hopes for this place, at least some of the reason for giving the board to her seems to me to have been to 'show' the Maff guys. Otherwise, why Leena? Why knowingly create the hassle? That's what happened and if this is considered 'job done' as you seem to believe, I don't see the benefit of the job. After all that happened, if you really blame those guys for going and starting their own board, you're clearly letting bias cloud your arguement. I've been here for 7 years. I've never, ever AIMed or chatted or whatever with anyone who was a mod here. I'm not part of any clique. I barely ventured below the bottom of the board for most of my time here. I didn't leave due to 'clique loyalty', 'community', 'circle jerks', any of that. I did it because I knew their board would be a better healthier place for discussion that here. I've never had a problem with being an 'outsider' or having 'different views'. To answer my own question, I think it's a case of natural progression nowadays. Like a revolving path. Or that Price Is Right game with the yodelling skiier. The guys at the top will eventually move on to occassional appearances as a legend, Hogan or Austin. Those underneath will move to the top spot of the card, as Edge and Cena and Orton have done. Then those underneath will move up to occupy the spot underneath, like Rey, Jericho, Punk. It's tougher and tougher for anyone to make a sudden rise up the card and sustain it nowadays it seems. Guys like Swagger and Koslov have been put in good spots, but had flaws exposed and been shuffled quickly back down. So those with tenure are going to move up eventually, the likes of Matt Hardy, Christian, MVP, so long as they can stay healthy and in favour. The future looks good for the second-generation guys too, like Dibiase and Cody, Tyson Kidd. So I could see Hennig and Steamboat as the 'future future' if they progress. Besides that I think Dolph Ziggler's got something about him. They just need to give him time, work on his look and gimmick. Morrison's got a shot now that he's developed a strong character. He's got all the tools to set himself up for future main event status. Also, Primo. He's got a lot of energy and eventually that's going to work for him away from Carlito, who's been a little too erratic in his career to really trust to be a big name.

I don't see any flip-flopping. You came to the board when Leena took over. Leena left and so did many others. You lamented over the fact the MMA board might be damaged for a while. I'm giving you a chance to vent at somebody rather than spend your triumphant return to the board in isolation, sitting back comfortably and looking for some signs of anything to amuse me. Be it somebody on the roster, somebody in FCW, somebody from outside... somebody's going to have to step up their game and break through sooner or later. The main event scene isn't getting any younger, let's face it. So who do you see having a genuine shot of becoming a main event level talent, or at least in the realms of Jericho and Kane where they can drift in and out as and when. And what about lower down, who's the 'future future'?, the guy who's going to solidify a spot around the secondary titles for the next few years who's currently on the outside looking in?

If Punk cashes in and doesn't win, he has to turn heel. To really put over the fact that he's the first guy to cash and lose, you've got to have a big follow-up angle. It's the perfect opportunity to turn him too, give him some fresh opposition and storylines.
