  1. I think the two met for Rocky's Undisputed title on RAW back in the summer of 2002 if I'm not mistaken. Sure did but my info shows the title wasn't on the line. WWE @ Greensboro, NC - Coliseum - July 29, 2002 Raw: WWE World Champion the Rock pinned Ric Flair in a non-title match with the Rock Bottom; after the match, Chris Jericho made a surprise appearance by interrupting Flair's important announcement, rumored to be his retirement speech, and hit Flair in the face with a steel chair
  2. There's no way they can build to any other interpromotional match involving Taker at this point. And Luther Reigns vs. Taker? Wow. That might even be worse than the Bundy match at XI. We're getting the monster hoss tag team match of doom at Mania.
  3. He's in the HOF ... but not black.
  4. Buffy 1-7 Angel 1-2 Miami Vice 1 The Simple Life 1 (it was worth the $5 I paid) Band of Brothers Mini Series Seinfeld 3 Twin Peaks 1
  5. A few days ago I picked up Miami Vice season 1. Well worth the money
  6. Thanks for this..... Does any one happen to have Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko Vs. Raven and Saturn? I remember this being a shit hot tag match, from Nitro IIRC... Do you want the Nitro match from Panama City or the Spring Stampede match?
  7. Bobo wore the often forgotten WWWF US belt in the 70s.
  8. To help in the effort, Sherri only defended the belt off and on during Dec 87 and March 88.
  9. good thing they didnt show that on tv, would have ruined the build for Survivor Series lol actually I might have seen that match. My cousin had a wwf video that was the best of hogan and it had hogan vs shiek(first wwf title), hogan vs andre wm 3, hogan vs savage wm5, hogan vs sarge wm 7, and a hogan vs taker match where hogan was the champ but he beat taker. wonder if thats the match, or maybe they did several matches like that It's the same match.
  10. I think Vader was booked very strongly until the fall and his loss to Sid. Yes, he worked 6 man tags but look at the end result. Vader pins Jake Roberts clean at WrestleMania, when Roberts had a lot of momentum and fan support on his side. That was Jake's first TV loss after returning. Then at International Incident, he pins HBK clean with the Vader Bomb. Shawn was only pinned twice on TV during his title run and both times were to Vader. The Yoko feud did portray Vader as a monster. On the 4/8/96 Raw, Vader practically humiliated Yoko by hitting the Vader Bomb on his leg, seemingly breaking it. Yoko had to be taken to the back on a forklift. No one had ever been able to actually hurt Yoko.
  11. I thought for sure he was beating Sid at Buried Alive. 6 days prior on Raw, he and Cornette went over HBK and Lothario when Vader pinned HBK clean with the Vader Bomb. Of course the match was taped almost a month previous, before Vader sustained his injury.
  12. WWF @ Worcester, MA - Centrum - July 29, 1991 WWF Superstars taping: WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan pinned the Undertaker with a roll up after Taker accidentally hit Paul Bearer on the apron He also lost to Warrior and Savage via pinfall in 91 but I don't know how clean they were. WWF @ Lake Placid, NY - June 16, 1997 (2,773) Raw is War: Farooq & Kama (w/ D-Lo Brown) defeated WWF World Champion the Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer) & Ahmed Johnson when Kama pinned the Undertaker at 6:07 after Ahmed refused to tag in to his partner, allowing the Undertaker to fall victim to a pinfall; after the bout, Ahmed hit the Pearl River Plunge on Taker before joining the NOD on the stage and raising his fist in solidarty; prior to the bout, Farooq stated that two new NOD members would be introduced; Kama was the first, Ahmed the second; during the bout, the commentary team pondered who would be the second choice and listed the Junkyard Dog, Abdullah the Butcher, Mr. Hughes, and Butch Reed as possibilities WWF @ Omaha, NE - Civic Auditorium - August 10, 1998 Raw is War: Kane & Mankind defeated Billy Gunn & the Road Dogg, WWF IC Champion the Rock & WWF European Champion D-Lo Brown (sub. for Owen Hart), & WWF Tag Team Champions Steve Austin & the Undertaker in a four corners match to win the titles when Kane pinned the Undertaker The previously mentioned 3 on 2 handicap match. Insurrextion 02 - London, England - Wembley Arena - May 4, 2002 (9,308; sell out) Triple H pinned the Undertaker at 14:31 by hitting a kneelift as Taker ran the ropes and following with the Pedigree
  13. It has its moments but, considering the talent involved, it was below par. It's been a while since I've seen the match so my opinion may be scewed a bit.
  14. Taka & Val Venis vs. Kaientai. Taka turns on Val.
  15. I believe he was one of the fake Stings. I'm leaning towards Eadie being in his mid to late 30s, not 40s, during the Demolition run. Could be wrong. I met him about a year ago and he didn't seem THAT old, certainly not in his 60s.
  16. Thanks for that.
  17. If you can remember the city and timeframe, I'll be happy to add it. Arena, matches, who won, etc are usable too if you recall them.
  18. He did report that but I'm thinking the "Shrek" involvement was misinterpreted and his source was referring to Flair's donkey used in the previous commercial. I could be wrong. Meltzer didn't have any hard news on the TV spot, just that it was very funny.
  19. Thanks for that. I'll add it later today.
  20. If it's not there, all you have to do is give me the info and I'll post it.
  21. Thanks a lot for those.
  22. Wonder who the Alaskans were. I have them down for a few cards in Feb 88.
  23. That would be 7/13/85. Already had it up but thanks anyway.
  24. I bet Jake was a sub for JYD in the match with Piper.
