Actually Brunzell was on Warrior's team. The Killer Bees wrestled their last match in September before splitting and working singles (which meant doing jobs for Terry Taylor, Curt Hennig, and the like). On a side note, Blair was a substitute for the Junkyard Dog and Brunzell was a sub for Don Muraco. JYD and Muraco were both fired in October for their behavior during a tour of Europe.

This is a variation on the one that first popped up a few weeks back, simply the PPV logo on a Roman coliseum backdrop. Stephanie looks like a demon in that photo.

Because that's not stalkerish at all. Yeah ... I'm the only one that does this... -
Their new RF shoot. A poster on The History of WWE message board uploaded this for our own personal enjoyment Dec. 29. Between then and now it's received 68,000 hits. Today it got plugs on both PWInsider and the Observer website.

Charlotte / Greenville Tapings (Jan 23 and 24)
cawthon777 replied to cawthon777's topic in The WWE Folder
Downhome and Haws bah gawd - I've got both days off of work so if you guys want to meet up - that's cool. Just drop me a note. Charlotte is 40 miles one way, Greenville is about the same in the opposite direction. What I'd like to do is get to the arena early enough to meet talent as they're coming in. Either that or find out what hotel they're using. -
I have a ticket for the Raw in Charlotte and Smackdown in Greenville, SC in three week's time, just before the Rumble. I wanted to see if there were any members on here that going that wanted to meet up before the show. The dark match for Charlotte is advertised as Cena & Flair vs. HHH & Angle. No clue on what's planned for Greenville.

Kennedy worked dark matches, Jakked, Velocity, etc. off and on for several years. I would say back to at least 2002. A quote from his old website: Kamikaze Ken is currently enjoying wrestling in the midwest independent circuit and has been contacted several times by the WWE. He has appeared on Smackdown as an extra, twice on Jakked. Once against Essa Rios, and again with Skullkrusher vs Chuck Palumbo and Billy Gunn. He has also had a dark match against Scot Vick. (formerly Sick Boy from WCW). http://www.geocities.com/kamikazekenanderson/

Here's a pretty good Taker "My Sacrifice" video. While there are plenty of quality fan made clips, I'm just sticking with stuff that aired on TV. xhttp://s60.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=21OFBF29ZI0GA0NUQXAI8PJU8R

I posted this on my board but wanted to hear your opinions as well. I think the WWF/E production team should certainly be commended for the number of great video packages and music videos produced over the past 6 years. Out of all of the various tribute videos, what would you say was your favorite? "Hurt" by Johnny Cash - Eddie Guerrero "One Thing" by Finger Eleven - Chris Benoit "Clocks" by Coldplay - Kurt Angle "My Sacrifice" by Creed - WWF 2001 "Not Enough" by Our Lady Peace - Jeff Hardy "Beautiful Day" by U2 - Triple H "Here Without You" by 3 Doors Down - Eddie Guerrero "Lonely Road of Faith" by Kid Rock - WWF History 2002 "I Will Remember You" by Sarah McLachlan - Mick Foley "So Far Away" by Staind - Mick Foley "My Immortal" by Evanescence - Freddie Blassie The various Creed / Scott Stapp songs / "Right Here" by Staind - Middle East Tours ... And I'm sure I'm forgetting several. Some might remember that Sunday Night Heat, back in 99 and 2000, would have weekly recap music videos. There was one in particular that I thought was great - "Yeah Yeah Yeah" by Uncle Cracker, from the "Shanghai Noon" soundtrack. Various clips from KOTR 2000 / Raw / Smackdown with the chorus line of "I don't know why I come here, but I know I'll never leave, it's the only place I want to be, yeah, yeah, yeah" Thought it worked well for giving the perspective of a wrestling fan.

How hard to find is an original copy of this show? I only ask because Amazon has no DVD copies and - last I checked - only one VHS (which I ordered yesterday).

Someone give me a date for this WCW Saturday Night episode
cawthon777 replied to GreatWhiteNope's topic in General Wrestling
The Saturday Night immediately after Slamboree 95 consisted of a show held in this fashion - during the rain - with Paul Orndorff winning a TV title shot by defeating Brian Pillman in the finals of a 4-man tournament. He cashed in on the title shot at Bash at the Beach that summer. Newly crowned tag team champions the Nasty Boys also appeared at the show. -
Mulligan dominated a number of house show bunkhouse battle royals in late 86 / early 87, most notably by eliminating King Kong Bundy during a Boston Garden show. He also had a babyface run throughout 84 and 85, just not very high profile.
