  1. In all the Rumble hubub, the fact that this show has an undercard I'm looking forward to has gone unmentioned. I like all 4 matches (and the fact they're all title bouts). When JBL vs. Cena was made, I thought "well, it's the Royal Rumble, the title matches don't always matter" ala Holly vs. Lesnar in 2004, but the Michaels angle has me really interested in the deal now. Beth and Melina were delivering good stuff last summer, it's hard to go wrong with Jeff and Edge, and Matt Hardy always works hard (and I'm a Jack Swagger fan). It would have been nice if they gimmicked the ECW title match to give it something else to set it apart, but I've got no beef with 4 wrestling matches either.
  2. "Numerous threatening references to the UN". My friend asked what time to pick me up for the Rumble today, I told him eighty past two. But that's besides the point. This was fun though and I wish I could have been at the second session.
  3. Maybe they're going old school and that's the entire roster.
  4. You know where else there's a discussion about that? Right here on TSM.
  5. I too was wondering about Kennedy. If he's not injured, this seems like the place for him to return to the ring. I am becoming quite hyped about heading over to the States and I keep thinking something will go terribly wrong (I have a fear of tunnel bus delays but my friend has a fear of standing around outside an arena doing nothing, so we're heading over at 6). I have the tickets. I have the camera. I have batteries for the camera. No passport yet, but I got good enough ID until June comes. I'm awake and not taking a nap that goes too long. All those dreams I had where something got fouled up sure mess with you (same thing happened before Mania 23) but I think all systems are go.
  6. I had some comments for other Rumbles but apparently King Kamala didn't think me repeatedly stating "Screw Flanders" was good for the discussion.
  7. I wonder if SVR (for the 360) will have DLC by the time this game comes out.
  8. What about The Unnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnndertaker?
  9. Wii is not for multi-platform games.
  10. But see, that's ROH and scummy indy guys. Remember, Vince and Hogan saved the wrestling world from smoke filled arenas.
  11. It won a Golden Globe and has Oscar noms, so they want to attach themselves to it for mainstream attention.
  12. Hopefully some Mania seeds are planted based on who eliminates who (ex. Ted eliminates Taker in a shocker - thought I think that match was rumoured for Mania 26, not 25). I wonder if R-Truth will do his crowd entrance? Sandman did in 2007. I'm up at 6am, hyped like crazy about going to this thing but with a fear I'm going to be late due to tunnel bus traffic.
  13. It's also worth noting that he spells "Jerichoholic" in his username (he got it right in the sig...) the same way a certain TSM resident does.
  14. I think Jericho will shock the world and win the Rumble so he can move to SmackDown. Or not.
  15. It's actually a nice bit of coincidence (or is it?) that you have a Raw where Vince says "WE WILL NEVER DOUBT MADE IN THE USA LEX LUGER AGAIN! HIS WORD IS THE TRUTH" and a repeat of the MNW Legends show that opens with a brief discussion (before Hayes interrupts to ask something else) of Luger lying to Vince and not keeping his word.
  16. Isn't the answer "Everything"?
  17. I can't resist posting this link: http://fans.wwe.com/go/thread/view/701/130...tling_joins_WWE
  18. Well, in 2006 and 2008, HHH was one of the top odds to win (until Eddie-mania took over and the E exploiting it for a Rey win became a bit more likely) and he lost those, so now that people are expecting Orton to win, look for HHH to pull off the victory.
  19. He's no Art Donovan, but I'm enjoying his commentary. Jake Roberts keeps just keeps getting older (51-61-81-91).
  20. That entire Rourke / Mania 25 story is just someone expanding on one sentence from Saturday's F4WOnline daily update using their own knowledge of it being mentioned on WWE.com. I love it when those sites do that.
  21. I swear the SmackDown spoilers said HHH was #1 by virtue of losing to Show/Vlad, but I didn't hear that mentioned on the actual broadcast. Kind of like how previous spoilers said HHH completely lost his spot by losing to Big Show in the Triple H Triple Showcase or whatever it was called. Edit - From F4W's Saturday update: Hmm... you know, I did have a strange feeling that some of those unannounced spots might go to Dusty and Bob Orton for some sort of Legacy confrontation.
  22. Well he was already made official last week. I didn't mention Orton, Rhodes, or DiBiase either.
  23. According to The Dirt Sheet, Sim, Manu, and Primo are also in. We'll see.
  24. It's not like this precedent wasn't already set. Mania X, Mania XV, Mania XX... it's just how it goes.
  25. It was his 4th last appearance. So, "one of his last". I see what you're saying zio, but it's not that unusual a saying.
