I guess it depends what you were looking for. In Dearborn, there was a Best Buy and a Circuit City across the street from each other. I'm usually only looking for DVDs if I'm shopping in the States and wow, did that particular CC have an awful selection compared to BB. The first time I saw a Circuit City commercial was in 1992 on KTLA (one of the "Superstations" offered to us Canadians). I really enjoyed the giant building flying down and plugging into the ground. Welcome to Circuit City, where circuits are state of the art! (I think they actually say "service is state of the art", but I like mine better).

Still not following. NOTHING was lumped with the WWE Folder. Barely active folders about Japanese, Mexican, and Independent wrestling were merged with General Wrestling.

Superhero Movie was on TV here last night... gotta say, NOT awful. Calling it good would be a stretch (a big one), but I enjoyed Christopher McDonald, Leslie Neilsen, Jeffrey Tambor, and Tracey Morgan.

More on the "Updates From the Future" saga: Either on Thursday or Friday, I received a majority of the updates that are supposed to be available on the 21st. I did not receive the NWA show or Unforgiven 2008 though. Despite the fact I'm receiving future updates, KOTR 96 was allegedly due today and did not appear. I don't know what to make of any of this.

The statement confused me in NHB and it confuses me now. Lumping Indy/ROH/Overseas into General attracts the WWE folder how?

It's funny that I just watched that too. I think the deal was they hadn't decided on 2 minutes or 90 seconds for time constraint purposes so Fink said what he said. Ross makes a point of saying "90 seconds". I think the same thing happens in 2003 (but the DVD has a re-dubbed Fink saying 90 seconds).

My greatest contribution to TSM. I do miss it, but I think the streamlining will work out. In whatever way removing folders is supposed to work, anyway - I still don't know what the answer to that is.

How come it has nothing to do with the Dragonball universe? Isn't it going to be the story of Goku and the gang that was told in the Dragonball cartoons? Of course, he does look nothing like kid Goku. I'd prefer a Dragonball Z movie to it as well. I think it's a movie I might end up liking just cause. Like Mortal Kombat. It does have something to do with the Dragonball Universe.. it has the characters and the Dragonballs.. but it just doesn't follow the same plot as the anime. And why would it follow the exact same canon of the anime? When does a live action version of a cartoon, videogame, comic ever follow exact canon? Hardly ever. I still don't understand why people get upset about that. It's movie canon, it's going to be different, get over it. Also, it's called Dragonball: Evolution. I agree. Look at Dark Knight for an example. It is so different from The Long Halloween (the story that inspired it), they don't even bother saying it was based off of it. On the other hand, the Dragonball trailer is so awful it makes it look like an Uwe Boll movie, so I don't exactly have high hopes for it for different reasons. The Dragonball anime won't work in live action without changes. You can't have a little kid getting the crap kicked out of him by grown men, aliens and demons without it being simply disturbing. And that's without the talking animals and dinosaurs. If they make a film that has the Videl / Spopovich fight in it, I'm there. Otherwise, not so much. I am interested to see how Marsters does Piccolo though, but I'll wait until it's on TV next year.

I'm actually very happy with everything to (as mentioned in the other thread). I think people can adjust, I just wanted to do the correct thing and give people a place for their say. Really though, let's just leave it. I'm more interested in when the new voting for folder sub-titles is coming up. I'm tired of looking at the Food Folder as a place to learn taco related feces.

Did Tito Santana have some different music after the Strike Force break-up? The 10/89 MSG show sounds like his singles theme is dubbed into the show (and yes I realize I'm asking a question about a show that shouldn't even be on 24/7 right now, but someone might know now).

My daily stupidity for today: I went to HMV and bought what I wanted - Edge, Starrcade, and Rumble 08 to complete the set. Except I was trying to speed it up, so I picked up the first DVD that said "Royal Rumble" because the logo looked right. I bought 2007. It was actually Benoit being on the front which tipped me off, then of course I looked at the back and realized I made a dumb move. It's unopened to hopefully they're not bastards about returns, even for store credit.

Kinetic's "One to watch in '09" vote for Marney should be all he needs to win.
