  1. Lost in Resolution.
  2. Damn, Page 2 (on a 50 posts per page setting) was pretty brutal for both VX and I. It was KIND of close before the end of Page 1 for my round, but currently it's Kinetic: 26 Venkman: 19. Maybe my wrestling folder brethren aren't reading my signature. VX's is still much closer - Agent: 24 VX: 21.
  3. I randomly caught Douglas "Nostalgia Critic" Walker doing a commercial for the PBS series "Make Em Laugh". That was quite the thing... seeing PBS air a commercial for a show (this aired on a Fox affiliate). Maybe James Rolfe can do GameStop commercials (if such a thing existed - I can't say I've seen one in recent years).
  4. That's the price it was on Amazon too. I usually find HMV a bit pricey for wrestling DVDs but sometimes it's on par with everything else. I wish MusicWorld didn't go out of business, or at the very least was replaced with HMV at the mall closer to my house. The 'big mall' with the HMV is not always a convenient trip. I was actually hoping to use $40 worth of Bluckbuster GCs to get it, but apparently sometime between the last time I had been in the store (which has been quite awhile) they once again phased wrestling out. I blame Blu-Ray for this (the new-to-me BR section took up the rack wrestling and anime used to be on).
  5. I think we need to talk about Kinetic for a minute. When Kinetic posts, he does the work of three men: Larry, Curly, and Moe. He doesn't know the meaning of the word fear, but then again there are a lot of words he doesn't know the meaning of. And if there's one word to sum up all of Kinetic's success, it's lucky. Please understand that info was gathered from a survey of 100 TSMers, that's not me talking.
  6. I watched the movie on TV on the 1st, it's ok. New Daisy is hard to adjust to, but it's fine. .
  7. I'll give you that since it's not factually correct, unless you're like Jamie from Charles in Charge when she asked Charles to speak at her school "next Friday" and meant "this Friday", causing all sorts of havoc.
  8. Artie The World's Strongest Man has convinced me to forgive Dandy's transgressions.
  9. Just to clarify about Slaughter, it sounds as if he had been with the company solidly since 1990, not 1997. He wasn't on TV from 1992 (his "referee enforcer" angle) to 1997, but he worked backstage. He was supposed to have a job for life for going through with the Iraqi Sympathizer deal (or so says today's WON). WON also confirms the Mickie "Jay" Henson story, saying Mickey Henson, Mike Posey and Kevin Keenan were cut as refs.
  10. Amazon.ca can't seem to find a copy of Starrcade to ship (they said the shipping estimate is now January 28th) and Amazon.com has these "Import Fees" that I don't like (plus the US exchange not being parity anymore makes .ca the cheaper option). I guess I'll go look around for it.
  11. I've often considered letting internet strangers who I've never met in real life into what really goes on inside my head and what a mental case I think I've become over the past few years (or maybe even since I was a kid), but then I worry people would think differently about me and perhaps not vote for me in the 2009 Poster of the Year Tournament. Then again, that sort of thing seems to have worked out well for others. In seriousness, in this day and age, my paranoia and other such issues are probably more 'normal' than ever before and nothing worth writing TSM about.
  12. Sushi X was actually a composite of several different writers. Thanks to the internet (wikipedia) for that info. Apparently people caught on to this when the EGM2 or some variation of X mysteriously became fond of RPGs, among other contradictions. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sushi-X
  13. Me: This vote - unless, as my history of counting votes at 5 am has shown is possible, I counted wrong - makes it 10-9 in favour of Kinetic. Already this is a moral victory for me. Being the #1 seed overall is a moral victory. Beating TSM Legends like Inc and Slayer (avenged!) were moral victories. Making it to the Final Four for a 2nd time after falling short last year is a moral victory. Bitters McBitterson showing his true colours sucked, but it's all fair in the Poster Tournament and that won't get me down. So yeah, this was a good tournament for me... but it's not time to write myself off yet. I can still rally the undecided voters, the common folk who seem to be unaware of this tournament - the little people that make TSM more than just a core group of folk bantering wits with each other in a corner. Vitamin X: I still suspect that this is his tournament to win, not Kinetic's. He's a good guy and has always had my support (as a columnist, as a poster, as a folder mod, as a tournament contender, etc.). Another good showing by VX! I believe this round is also 10-9 in favour of Agent right now, so let's see if we can pull out the comeback wins!
  14. Worth noting: zio's handle is actually "Jack Swagger's All-American Swagger". It rarely shows up in full form anywhere, but that's his official name. I wouldn't want sullied HOF records.
  15. More detailed spoilers from F4W: I've never been a fan of them telling you who #1 is at the Rumble. I like it when we all find out who drew #1 right before they enter.
  16. Detailed spoilers from F4W:
  17. Not to be confused with 2006's Employee of the Month, the above Employee of the Month also stars Dave Foley, or so I've gathered from wikipedia.
  18. Is "the Vampiro match" the graveyard match with Sting? That was a Halloween Shortie in either 2006 and 2007 and was amazingly awful.
  19. New Line went under? They have the greatest company logo in the history of film, that shouldn't happen. That version having music makes it less terrifying, but it was the best quality version available.
  20. At least on 24/7, he can be mentioned (though this is hit and miss) and seen, just not wrestle.
  21. Yeah, 11/24 will be up in 5.5 hours - Eastern Time, anyway (though due to some sort of mess up I've had it for a week and never got 11/17). I know 909 gets his content Tuesday evening instead of 12am.
  22. Makes sense. Fair enough.
