I identify myself as a Liberal. And I'm pretty damn proud of that fact. Who exactly are these posters who confuse "liberal" with "moderate"? In any case, conservatives have been known to do the same thing (see O'Reilly, Bill), so it's not just a left-wing thing. O'Reilly has said he is a conservative. He said he's not a Republican (which isn't true, mind you). You can be a conservative and not be a Republican. O'Reilly is a populist wannabe. And what people here? Well, Paragon of Virtue pops to mind immediately. -=Mike Zuh? I'm just looking through the thread when all of a sudden my name pops up as a moderate wannabe commie red pinko fag liberal. Whatever. For some reason I knew that when JMA asked you to name some Liberals in disguise I'd be brought up. I'd ask why, but I don't really care. -=Dan=-, who knows that high school kids have political views that are messed up when HE's the ultra right wing conservative in class, at least as far as America goes. I guess that's just typical of anti-authority teenagers. In a Catholic school though, I'm pretty much the ultra left wing liberal on most social issues who *gasp* thinks gay people should be allowed to marry. Most of them haven't heard of "naming a source" either. It's pretty funny though, I have a good time.

Problem whenever I use spybot; a few programs that I use regularly start not running, especially Kazaa and I have to re-download it. I assume that it's got something to do with the spyware that it's removing, but regardless, is there anyway to prevent it from removing components that are necessary for programs that you actually use? Sometimes it removes shit that I don't even know about, and than BAM I can't use Kazaa anymore. Ad-Aware is good though, never had problems with that. Does anyone else here have an eMachine or know what that is? It constantly tells me to d/l patches that apparently protect my comp, but I'm unsure if a) it actually works or b) it's as useful as Norton Antivirus. If someone can clear this up for me than that would be great.

I had picked up Disintegration, which is hailed as last great pop album of the eighties or something. It wasn't great, didn't like it very much at all. When I first watched the South Park episode with Robert Smith in it I wondered that just because he was a good football player didn't mean that he deserved to be featured on South Park. Of course, after "THE" Ohio State nobody denied Smith's charisma, but that's all for naught as they were talking about the Robert Smith from the Cure. He likes to wear makeup and be sad and stuff. Not bad. The Queen Is Dead blew me away though. Awesome stuff, really fucking great. Of course, I want to hear some more stuff before I decide for sure, but man that stuff is reaching Pixies level for me. So basically, what other stuff should I get to keep me happy? I would have gotten an XTC disc, but Kazaa sucks so The Smiths - The Queen Is Dead is what I got instead. Not that I'm complaining, but I've heard lots of good things about English Settlement and I like the songs I've heard, like Dear God, Making Plans For Nigel, and Senses Working Overtime. Blast me with either Smiths or XTC stuff. It's all good. Dan, who wants to assure everyone that Kazaa is just his Russian immigrant friend that works at the local HMV. Right.

You really hate Chretien that much? I didn't think he was that bad, but I think Paul Martin will be a lot better, and hey, how many other world leaders can say that Bono has travelled halfway across the world to support them? Well, I know it's not just the party, but he WAS born in the US.
