That sort of sounds like a Polish saying I know, from a Polish guy I know who says it all the time. Something like Ya's va doo ble or some shit, basically you use it when talking about how well something fits. It means "like a dick in an ass".

I'm actually curious to see the pics that he had done up in photoshop. Nothing personal, but it sounds....*thinks of Nevermortal*...entertaining. -

Not to steer the thread in the wrong direction, but when I thought you were married you said you weren't? Now I'm confused. Reminds me of Sars. Our school actually was under quarantine for it. -
How does a guy like that have so much power in the company? I mean even if he is the leader, you think guys would know that they're getting ripped off over here..

Hmm, Economic left/right: 1.12 Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.56 Hmm, more moderate than Paragon? GO ME! -=Mike Well those aren't my scores, but regardless you're still more of a moderate than me.... ..which is why we need a new test. "You know, for a college student you possess a surprising lack of wit." This made me chuckle. Or maybe, just maybe, I AM far more moderate than our more left-leaning members. The left thinks the center is extreme right. News: I AM THE CENTER --- or closer to it than most anybody else. Live it, love it. -=Mike I was joking about needing a new test, but whatever. I guess I need to add in a smiley to really drive the point home. Regardless, most people tend to take these tests with about as much seriousness as that "what day I'm going to die" site posted in GC awhile back. The "Wit" comment made me chuckle because it reminded me of a kid trying AIM for the first time, not because I thought he had burned KKK. The fact that Zorin has something in common with the KKK scares me...*reads carefully*...oh wait, never mind. -

Our high school name *is* the...Magic. Our mascot at Pep Rallies is some dude who wears a stupid Magician costume. It changes like every rally though. -

"Our race has many superior qualities, compared to other races." That was my favourite. Anyone "Strongly agree" with that one? My score was: Economic Left/Right: -3.00 Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.90 Just as I thought, a moderate who leans to the left. I was close to Gandhi (wtf?) and Jean Chretien (Bleh). I think all the sex questions pulled me closer to the left, and all the religion questions may have pulled me closer to the right. Which isn't fair, since there are plenty of Conservative sexaholic atheists, and many more Liberal Christian prudes. What was this thread about again? -
Anyone know why exactly Silva and...well, Silva were let go from Chutebox? I heard there was a falling out and that it wasn't just business, but I'm hazy on the details.

I remember driving in the middle of nowhere while going through Ottawa. All of a sudden someone was like "Hey, there's the Corel Centre". I mean really.

*Reads Title* No, no, fuck you. Who the hell would want to go to Rochester? I mean there's really no point in this ferry. Waste of time and money. I'm happier staying here thanks. Unless someone offers me some Bills tickets, as even when the team is piss poor games are sold out like two months in advance...

I'll be the first to say; shouldn't the widows reject these men or something, especially if they're married? Just doesn't make much sense to me....

Sure thing, Rambo. People who complain about Banky are infinitely more annoying than Banky himself. Yeah seriously. That line was just so LAME. That's like what that kid who gets picked on says, because his mom told him that to say that, or something. It's sad to see Rambo associated with such lameness. First thing that came to my mind when I read that: "My mom says I'm cool" - Milhouse Van Houten.

Problem whenever I use spybot; a few programs that I use regularly start not running, especially Kazaa and I have to re-download it. I assume that it's got something to do with the spyware that it's removing, but regardless, is there anyway to prevent it from removing components that are necessary for programs that you actually use? Sometimes it removes shit that I don't even know about, and than BAM I can't use Kazaa anymore. Ad-Aware is good though, never had problems with that. Does anyone else here have an eMachine or know what that is? It constantly tells me to d/l patches that apparently protect my comp, but I'm unsure if a) it actually works or b) it's as useful as Norton Antivirus. If someone can clear this up for me than that would be great. -
Never mind people sorry to waste your time. If a mod can delete this shit that can be great. OR maybe someone can just answer the eternal question; is there a mod for the "Other" forums (Food, Literature, Computers) and if there is what exactly does he do?

"Homosexuality Should Be Outlawed"

I'm pretty sure Stockwell Day said something along the lines of "we should make sure that all children are taught from a young age not to be gay" or something like that. That's stupid on so many levels. At least Preston was reppin' the Refoooooorm party on Royal Canadian Air Farce. Show sucked, but I still remember him being on it one time. -
Typical of a Saskatchewan-ite; no pride. Makes sense, nothing to be proud of. Please don't call me a monkey.
-
Don't you guys get it? CWM=Guy who started the thread. Except CWM doesn't know it. Banky, don't use being a Canadian as an excuse. You're from Saskatchewan, you're a different breed than the rest of us. I once heard that Winnipeg is Canada's armpit. Saskatchewan, Winnipeg, it's all the fuckin' same.

I make music too, if I knew how to upload it to a website you guys would be able to d/l it. Hell, I haven't even put it on my comp yet. Our influences don't go "Fuck you Jordan" so some of you might like it. -

You really hate Chretien that much? I didn't think he was that bad, but I think Paul Martin will be a lot better, and hey, how many other world leaders can say that Bono has travelled halfway across the world to support them? Well, I know it's not just the party, but he WAS born in the US. -
Pitchfork's revised 100 Best Albums of the 90's.
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to Edwin MacPhisto's topic in Music
I was just about to say that the two things I noticed about this list that were different were that there's a lot more hip hop, and that a lot of mainstream albums were pushed higher, most notably REM and Smashing Pumpkins. I love both albums, and Siamese Dream is one of my favourites, so it's all good with me. I do have to agree with Edwin that Achtung Baby should be somewhere on there. There are still a few albums that I'd have put in there, but than I'm not surprised that they aren't there and I'm not complaining. Good list, but I have a question; why is it that the first list was so much more obscure than this one, and why were albums that were like top twenty in the other one pushed far lower or even off the list entirely? Odd to say the least, I guess they have a lot of new writers that are more mainstream-friendly or something. -
No, I just felt like putting that in as sort of a comparison type thing. An opening. Looking at it, it sort of does look confusing, but point is I got both at the same time, since I had been wanting to get both for awhile, just never did, for whatever reason. I don't think The Cure are nearly as good as what I've heard, and The Smiths definitely lived up to the hype. I swear I had heard "Making Plans" many times before, but I just never knew who had played it. I'm positive it's been featured in a bunch of movies, because there was a subconscious vibe when I had d/l it. As it stands, it's pretty damn good. Speaking of bands that released their "Greatest" stuff in the 80s, what you guys think of Talking Heads and Sonic Youth? Those albums were put ahead of the Fucking Pixies on that Pitchfork list, although I know that list should be taken with a grain of salt. Still, it's worth finding out whether or not they actually are better.
