I would wear the Emperor's new clothes...

Who's Patrick Mcgovern? How often do they do this, as in getting a bunch of gaijin wrestlers to come along for one show? It looks....interesting, I guess.
-
Yeah, that's pretty low I agree. It doesn't even make any sense, like they're asking for people to give them hell. But what ceramic statue are you talking about?
-
I didn't like your insult of me, so I'm gonna give you another one, perhaps touching on a "sensitive" topic.... Why did Dames fail the Driving Test? Because when it came time to parallel park, he thought six inches was l-------l"this" (make motion with your fingers) long...

Didn't he lose to Noguera(sp)? It was a classic Underdog vs. Favourite from what I remember, so I would have guessed losing to someone almost half your size would have caused your monster reputation to somewhat lose its appeal. That piledriver was still fucked up to see in an MMA fight though. Has that happened before?

Kylie Minogue is attractive, the Green Bay Packers are God's football team, and electronica music is a good way to pick up chicks, as long as you can dance, which is why most people here probably wouldn't like it. So yeah, you ain't got nothing wrong with ya... But your self-indulgence in actually starting a post about yourself brings you the fuck down in my opinion. Earn the rights to your last name by eating out ass like it's never been eaten before. Who knows, maybe you could find a woman for a change....

Inc., they had a song called "Slow and Bulbous", so I just thought it was one of those "Clever Twist On An Already Obscure reference" type things, to a particular song you liked. Today, I was feeling rather eclectic...

Thanks for the info. I had a thought that he might have been from Critters Buggin or something, due to the "Fast and Bulbous" in your sig. I also linked the fact that Mudhoney is your favourite grunge band, featuring Stone Gossard who also produced....Critters Buggin, but I guess I was wrong. Call it a fairly educated guess. He always looked cool though, kind of like one of those joint-smoking arty types. I guess the avatar proves that. Crazy kids. By the way, who was the one that asked you before?

I listened to these albums like three times each, due to the fact that I had a *huge* service project due tomorrow, that was assigned in September. I didn't start it until today either. Uhh, yeah. Few questions that I'm pondering.. 1) Who is that guy in Incandenza's sig? He looks familiar, but I can't put my finger on it. 2) What's that last album you put, beside the Miles Davis one? With the brain I mean. 3) I always thought Devo was one of those one-hit wonders who were generally worthless. Am I wrong? I'm not really old enough to have been around at the time after all. If you can answer those questions for me, it will be mucho appreciated...

I believe he put it in the Puro folder, because he feels that this folder has the most intelligent people in it, thus bringing out the best debate. I thought he made it fairly clear. Correct me if I'm wrong though... 1) Eddie Guerrerro vs. Rey Mysterio HH97 2) Sting Vs. Vader Superbrawl 1993 3) Wargames 1992 4) Midnight Express v Southern Boys GAB 1990 5) Barry Windham/Dustin Rhodes v Larry Zybisko/Steve Austin Superbrawl 1992 6) Jushin Lyger Vs. Brian Pillman Superbrawl 1992 7) Benoit/Malenko Vs. Saturn/Raven Spring Stampede 1999 8) Rick Rude Vs. Ricky Steamboat Iron Man Match Beach Blast 1992 9) Doom v Barry Windham/Arn Anderson Starrcade 1990 10) Chris Benoit Vs. Bret Hart Nitro Tribute I still have yet to hear a good argument about why Steiners Vs. Sting/Luger was even a good match, as I can't seem to get into it at all....

Indeed, but only part of the truth I think. I think it stems from a sense of identity, or individuality. I hate those whiny "fans" who, in a sense, get jealous because now the main reason they're angry is not because the band is selling out, but because it isn't unique for them anymore, as in it's not just for them. A lot of people listen to it now, and they can no longer enjoy a specific brand of music that no one else has heard of, thus causing that very song/band/album to lose its appeal. The whole thing is full of shit anyway.
-
How is trying to expand your audience selling out?
-
The sell-out argument is one that I don't get still. He didn't make the music worse to earn a dollar, he just saw an opportunity to make some cash which he did. Ain't nothing wrong with that. I still can't understand why they'd want to fight him though....

How can true Muslims claim Islam as peace loving?
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to a topic in Current Events
Truth be told, all of the Muslims I know also happen to be the most peaceful and morally centred as well. It's ignorant to say that they still "Think it's the year 1200", and under no context should that line of thinking be acceptable. Ass. -
What trade would you pick up? Do you know for certain that they will pay your college tab?
-
I agree with Saturnmark on that one... "Beat Your Kids, You Pussy!"
-
No one follows squash though, so it's not like he gets any attention...

Am I the only one that found it odd that they ranked him ahead of Bret in 1994, and even ranked Sabu ahead of Bret in 1994? Still a good read, and I don't really think anyone is stupid enough or intoxicated enough to call to ever have called Michaels a "draw".
-
I agree that any extreme is stupid in either case, because they are extremely desperate to make sense of a world that they don't understand, when they don't even realise that it's impossible and that we shouldn't give a shit and should instead focus on strengthening our current ties with each other. Christian here btw...
-
Well, him and Bret Hart aren't exactly on good terms either...
-
I'm surprised nobody mentioned the fact taht she practically spoiled the show. It didn't matter who he faced, we knew he was winning. Pretty stupid, but I don't really care, so feh...

You actually remind me of Pat, of SNL fame, although I don't know why....

Maybe they wouldn't get points for jumping through flaming tables? The thing I hate is that most people I know think those guys are so cool or wicked or whatever, when they see them on DirecTv. They don't realize those things are edited, and how crappy they really are. Just watch them bend over for like 30 seconds waiting for a kendo shot or some shit. Huzzah...

I have an assignment for this movie due tomorrow(which is already late), and I needed some help as I didn't watch the movie. I answered some, but not the rest because I couldn't BS through those. Here are ones that I wish someone could at least offer some help with: - What is meant by the statement "With tradition, a man is like a Fiddler On The Roof". How's tradition important in Jewish Life? - What does Teyve say the relationship between the Jews and Christians is like in the town of Anatevka? - Is Teyve a religious person? how does he demonstrate his faith in God in light of the problems he faces? What is God like in Teyve's worldview? - Identify at least four examples of breaks with tradition in the film. If possible, relate to an unfortunate event in the life of Teyve's community. - Name three specific incidences of anti-semitism in this film. How does Teyve react to anti-semitism that he faces? How are his reactions related to his religious beliefs? I know that's alot, and that they are very specific, but odds are that some of you have seen it, and even a quick answer would at least get me started, as I could BS around the truth. On the upside, at least this thread is more practical than that Love, Sex, and Dating crap. No offense intended of course...

Yeah, I thought that George was the coolest of the Beatles. Dunno why, just did...
