Most teams need to be injury-free when concerning their top stars in order to be a contender. If the Spurs lost Tim Duncan, or if the Suns lost Nash, or if the Celtics lost Garnett, they wouldn't have much of a shot either.

The Din Thomas story is bullshit. It sounds like sparring matches used to help his guys gain experience while getting a little bit of money to help support the fighters. I hope this doesn't impact his or his gym's livelihood.

I'm happy about Kang and Garcia, but disappointed about Carlos. Garcia was dominating for the first round though. Akiyama looks pretty legit. He's got one loss to an established kickboxer that had about sixty pounds on him in his second pro fight. Other than that, pretty clean record.

His career as a starting QB is finished as far as *I* am concerned.

The Bills defense is actually pretty decent, they just fold late. You didn't push them enough today so that didn't happen.

I don't think he has much potential at all. He was getting tagged on the feet like crazy, showed no good instincts for gnp, didn't listen to his coach when he should have, and when things got tougher he made the habit of running away. His wrestling might be decent but we didn't see any of that, and we don't know about his grappling either. Basically I don't see any reason to be impressed with this guy other than the fact that he seems very athletic. But that's not enough until he proves something.

Even if Rashad got that takedown, Tito still had the round in my opinion. He did more, and the guillotine sweep was more effective than a takedown. But whatever, Rashad should be fighting at 185 anyway. So should Bisping actually.

And with that post Precious Roy goes from being some guy I don't bother looking at to a Deon/Spman level imbecile. I think a lot of people here will feel the same way.

Okami is at the end of his contract, and methinks he won't get an extension. Though he should, considering he main evented a PPV not to long ago and is a legit contender.

I think he was a high school teacher and, allegedly, fat. It isn't impossible he was taking grad courses simultaneous to teaching high school. But I'm pretty sure he was very fat. He definitely wasn't fat. He used to brag about getting laid on a regular basis because he was called up on his sexual exploits by LSD of all people, who was defending Jingus as being socially normal. Of all people. I mean he wouldn't lie right? Well, probably, but not to the greatest extent. He was probably just an average skinny wrestling geek.

The UFC actually did a better job of developing fighters with promise I think. Fedor would have been given a few fights before being thrown into a title fight a few years ago, with solid opponents along the way. They threw him in a number one contender fight in his second fight in PRIDE. Nastula was given Noguiera, even though he showed lots of promise. All the TUF guys are proof that the UFC is very good at bringing up fighters.

He'll no doubt improve, but I'm gonna hold off until I see what he's really made of. A lot of people don't realise that he wasn't even a great Champ at HW. Freestyle wrestling in the heavyweight division is more pathetic than the UFC HW division if you believe that. He got creamed by other American wrestlers that went on to compete at the international level.
