I thought that each item represented an aspect of Locke in regards to the Island. The sand represented Locke's affinity for the Island iteself, the compass represented Locke's ability to guide people when they made it to the Island, and the knife was Locke's willingness to use violence when necessary. However, Richard wanted him to choose the Book of Law, which would represent something like Locke's ability to lead the people of the Island and bring peace to it. I don't know. Pretty much anything would make sense at this point.

Played Packie's last mission last night. Insane. I felt like I was in a movie. One in particular, but I won't mention it since it may be a slight spoiler. Great mission though.

It's not just being in fuck ups. It's the fact that those fuck ups are so epic they get played ad nauseum by the various ESPN networks for seemingly decades afterwards. The Buffalo Collapse and Kerry Wood's aforementioned 20 Ks leap to mind.

As long as they get Damian 666, I'd go for that.

Just to follow up, after over two weeks of run around, I finally got Microsoft's "evidence" of tampering. There's a small scratch on the serial number on the back of the 360, there's a seam where the two halves of the case meet, and the silver sticker next to the disc drive door is "damaged". Now, the seam has always been there yet it didn't keep them from fixing it when it got RROD'd less than a year ago. The sticker is, as far as I can tell, in perfect shape once I wiped off some dust on it. And the scratch on the serial number has been there for quite a while. Since I've had the damn thing for 2 1/2 years wear and tear will show on the case. That's what happens to anything over time. Yet this is incontravertable proof in their eyes that I am an EVIL HACKER out to exploit Microsoft's good nature for my own nefarious schemes. And God forbid you try to question a customer service rep about it. When I did I could hear his brain cells melting down because it wasn't covered in his "choose your own adventure" style manual (i.e. "If they ask this, turn to page 23"). Then his supervisor got on the line and all he did was spout off some worth line of crap about how strict they are on tampering (the idea that I've never tampered with the machine apparently never entered his head) and that there was nothing they could do. So basically, if you've got a 360, for God's sake make sure you keep it in pristine condition externally. Microsoft will apparently look for any reason to deny service.

There's "Liberty Rock" or something like that. Good station. Yeah I don't really care for a lot of the radio stations because I'm not a fan of rap or electronica/techno either. I still miss the classical station from GTA III. Driving around with that playing while riding around in one of the Mafia cars REALLY made you feel like a hitman. Lazlow's return on Integrity 2.0 is pretty funny though.

Phoenix's fuscia hair is going to have to grow on me, but yeah I like her. Not quite Crush levels, but an early favorite. What the hell did they do to Monica? Evan still looks like Evan (just oiled up) and my memory's not great, but man Monica looks very different from who I remember from season 1. Did Morgan not make the cut? Thought he was going to be a Gladiator this season, but I don't see him on the website.
