Well the Associated Press says there will be MVP's and All Stars named tomorrow. Should be interesting. Even more interesting will be if Mitchell actually busts any prominent players currently residing on the Red Sox roster, seeing as he is a Minority Owner of the team and all.

Yeah guys who wouldn't know Cornbread Maxwell from, well, cornbread! Guys who don't know that there is an actual reason Len Bias' death hurt the Celts and its not the Celtic version of the Ruth Curse. Speaking of Max, listening to NBA games on the radio is crap, but this guy is so out of his mind it's worth it occasionally. -
It does seem like the controller setup makes the system limited in some ways. Me personally, I love the Wii sports games, and more better quality and in-depth versions of those games would be great. I tried playing Madden on it, and I had no chance. The control scheme was just too much for me. That isn't saying that it won't be easy for others to pick up and play, just my experience. Shooters like Resident Evil or whatnot would also have a nice advantage with the Wii control setup. I haven;t gotten the chance to see the new Mario game and I have also played, and enjoyed Wario Ware. My experiences are limited though. It does seem like most people are just infatuated with the Wii Sports game though. Essentially spending 250 or more on just that alone.

On top of that, he essentially scaled back his work and let the running game (as well as Vinny), and especially their defense in the post season, carry him to a ring Tiny edit. -
As much as I think Assrape will be the case for NYJ/NE there is a chance weather could play a big factor in that game. Supposed to be a nasty "Wintery Mix" with high winds.

While the Colts are clearly the 2nd or 3rd best team in the league by far, I wouldn't say they have been SO impressive lately. 1. This week they play Oakland, garbage. 2. Last week they played a demoralized Baltimore team. 3. Before that, sqeaked out a win versus the Jags. 4. Crushed the Falcons, garbage. 5. Squeaked by the Cheifs and lost to the Chargers and Pats. Wins are wins but thats not exactly scary.

I remember when City Of Heroes first came out seeing a group of 6 people standing in a row doing the exact same pose dressed like the Rangers. That was before they had to crack down on people makiong characters similar to copyrighted characters. Was definitely a funny sight.

So if I use the PS3 to watch movies or listen to music that is streaming from my PC wireless would be bad? Sorry i'm a wireless newb
-
How much does wireless internet affect online gaming? I would rather use my PS3's wireless capabilities and eventually when I get a Wii it would be very handy, but I never though wireless would be trustworthy for optimal online gaming.

Here we go again... Johan Santana-S-Twins Dec. 5 - 8:25 pm et Yahoo! Sports' Tim Brown said talks between the Red Sox and Twins regarding a Johan Santana deal are back on as of Wednesday evening. Brown believes the original parameters of the deal have not changed, and the Twins would probably get Jon Lester, Coco Crisp, Jed Lowrie and Justin Masterson. According to Brown, Seattle briefly emerged as a candidate, using Adam Jones and Brandon Morrow as bait, but talks there have stagnated, as they did with the Angels. He didn't mention the Mets. Skipping week 14 eh?
-
It's not that I wouldn't LOVE having this guy on the team, but i'm not gonna cry and be devastated about it, because I like seeing pl;ayers like Lester, Buchholz, Ellsbury, etc. come up through the system and make names for themselves.
-
Well regardless I am happy that the trade never went through. The trade involving Ellsbury that is, because I just cant believe the other deals proposed were ever realistically considered by the Twins. The Sox still have trading chips like Lowrie, Lester, and others to use at the trading deadline if need be. Jacoby Ellsbury will be the starting Center Fielder and if Coco does survive the off-season he will be a very solid 4th outfielder. The starting rotation will most likely be: Beckett, Schilling, Dice-K, Lester, and Wakefield. Leaving Buchholz in AAA to start the year if the other 5 are healthy, and he provides great insurance in case one of those 5 gets injured during the season. I just like this team the way it is right now. Maybe get some middle relief help if there is any out there but even that isn't a big hole to fill.
