Temple of the Dog was Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron of Soundgarden along with Jeff Ament and Stone gossard of Pearl Jam. They released their only album as a tribute to Andrew Wood, the former lead inger of Mother Love Bone who died of a heroin overdose and wsa also Chris Cornell's room mate for years.
Temple of the Dog is probably my favorite Cornell album. Let me clarify, it's my favorite VOCAL Cornell album. While it's not as good as say Superunknown or Louder than Love, Temple... shows Cornell's vocal prowess to the nines. He has soul, his wails are great(as always), and he just flat out SINGS. Listen to "Call Me a Dog" and you'll be blown away.
