  1. Picks for the Finale Tonight: Boot #1: Rupert Boot #2: Jenna Final 2: Rob and Amber WINNER: ROB M. I honestly feel that any other conclusion would be ridiculous. Amber has ridden Rob's coattails all the way to the top, regardless of other people calling her a "mastermind." It's easy to sit there and use somebody as a shield, allowing them to make all the tough decisions while you go along with the flow. She's not orchestrating any votes or doing anything out of the ordinary. It would be masterminding if she TOLD him who to vote for, and had him break all the alliances and make all the decisions. But, with the way she played, she let him make all the decisions and then later on, tell her what to do. She doesn't deserve the money like he does. In this game, the shark should be rewarded - not the barnacle that attached itself to that shark in the beginning.
  2. I still think Rob is playing a pretty smart game. He's relying on the idea that people will be able to put their bias on the side for one night, voting for who played the game BEST rather than who they actually like more. People like Lex, who prefer to think of themselves as masterminds of the game, can hopefully appreciate that Rob outplayed him - lying and deceit are parts of the game - and will reward him accordingly with it. If Rob does get to the Final 2, and he doesn't wind up winning, it would be nothing less than a travesty. Everyone is riding his coattails to get as far as they do, they're too intimidated to vote him out, he's able to win the challenges when he needs to.....he's been the ultimate player this time around. Survivor history shows that, for the most part, the jury rewards who the best player was, regardles of personal feelings. In Season 1, Richard managed to win despite being a huge asshole. The people there KNEW he played the game the way he was supposed to, and they gave them the money he deserved. In Survivor: Thailand, the jury rewarded Brian for being as smart as he was, despite the fact that he had lied and outmanuevered all of them. Considering that this jury is filled with "All-Stars", I would hope that they could get this one right. And, despite all the eye-rolling and nasty looks they have given Rob up to this point, I still think they'll reward him the money if he happens to make the Final 2. As they should.
  3. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Well, by cheating means, obviously. I wouldn't expect him to get a clean win. Hell, it wouldn't even HAVE to be a win. He grabs a chair and starts beating Taker with it, eventually getting disqualified. Then, cue the brutal beatdown. Listen, Taker has put other people over before. I'm sure he won't completely object to the idea of helping Book out here, considering it would lead to another high-profile match down the line.... Booker T beating Undertaker? The Bashams improving a match? Are you drunk? The Bashams would be there to just add another team to the mix. By no means am I suggesting that they would win or that would put on a **** affair, so feel free to start breathing and soothe the outrage at any time.... And/or high? The cocky, French former-Raw superstar teams with the cocky, narcisstic former-Raw superstar. Both would be a little directionless at this point, and WWE is looking to get them both on the screen. Considering their somewhat-similiar personalities could mesh well, there would be no harm in teaming them up for a run in the tag division. Backed by Teddy Long, it IS a team that could possibly get over quite well.
  4. What issue will these two have after J-Day? Well, Booker T would have to win at Judgment Day by some kind of cheating means. Then, following the match, he lays down a brutal beating on Taker - possibly beats up Paul Bearer as well. Then, Taker and Bearer would be gone for a few weeks. Finally, when Taker comes back, he's hell-bent on getting revenge. And there, we have a Taker/Book match for the Great American Bash. Please...no...more...Bashams... Eh, the match just seemed to look a little better with another Tag Team in there. Perhaps team up Jindrak and Dupree for a little while, and put them in line for a title shot......
  5. Well, the possibility of moving a guy or two over to Smackdown in preparation for the PPV shouldn't be overlooked by WWE. But considering all of that......it could probably be for the best if they had a 6-Man Tag match as the Main Event. With the right amount of planning - could actually go somewhere around the 40 minute mark. Including the entrances for everybody, the hype-up video before the match, the celebration following the ending.....we're talking about a nice chunk of the PPV being used up. Eddie Guerrero/Rob Van Dam/Rey Misterio vs. Bradshaw/The Dudleys The Undertaker vs. Booker T John Cena vs. Chavo Guerrero Charlie Haas/Rico vs. The Bashams vs. Scotty/Rikishi Cruiserweight Title Match somewhere involving Noble, Kidman, London, Spike.....possibly someone else..... Dawn Marie vs. Torrie Wilson - Evening Gown match, or something of the sort. Any other match you want to throw in here involving Jindrak, Dupree, whomever. And there, that can actually be somewhat of a suitable card for the Smackdown PPV. It's not guaranteed to be good, but it does have a much better chance of surviving than Judgment Day does. Unfortunately, trying to put together a card for the Great American Bash only goes to show you just how much struggling is needed to actually pad out a full Smackdown PPV. Terrible....
  6. They could go the 8-Man Tag route. Eddie/Cena/RVD/Rey vs. Bradshaw/Booker/The Dudleys. It's not perfect, but throw in something like a No-DQ stipulation (because, despite using a WCW name, Vince would never use War Games), and you could have a suitable Smackdown Main Event - at least for this month.
  7. -Why was this unpinned? It's being used as a reference point for recent WWE-related questions, and it's still very much active. I don't see the harm in keeping it up there, especially since it would be more accessible to the newer posters. It could also possibly help them with any questions they had been wondering about, instead of starting a new topic. Now, as for a question: When was the last time The Rock climbed onto the top rope with the intention to hit an aerial move? Was it all the way back in the Rocky Maivia days?
  8. Speaking of Paula, what was going on with her last night? She had the whole Kabuki look going on, and wound up nearly having a nervous breakdown at the end of the show with the sobbing at the end of Fantasia's performance. Something's up with her lately......
  9. No one said this. Nearly everyone in this folder is loving the Benoit/HBK matches, which is why they wanted it repeated at Bad Blood. Followed by a Benoit/HHH match later on that should be above average as well. I've barely seen any people complaining about Triple H and Shawn Michaels being Benoit's opponents - they may be the top two wrestlers on Raw, both in status and ability. Again, not really. The biggest complaint of the HIAC match is the fact that we've seen all this before. But pushing that aside, a lot of people - myself included - are looking forward to the match because it's practically guaranteed to be one of the top bouts of the year. Saying that Benoit should have a high-profile match on the card as well, with the Heavyweight Title being the last match on the card, is not nearly the same thing as booing the HIAC match. As many people have said before, Kane has absolutely no reason to be put in a title match at this point. He's been on somewhat of a losing streak, and is already in his own angle with Matt Hardy and Lita. The Heavyweight Title doesn't fit in there at all. Considering that Jericho has already requested a title shot, has a history with Benoit, is known to have good matches with Benoit, has become a higher-profile wrestler in the past few months......it doesn't make sense to skip over a sensical, high-quality feud with Jericho for a nonsense feud with Kane. The Heavyweight Title match doesn't have to be Face vs. Heel. Some title matches have been Face vs. Face, and many of them have been very good. Austin/Rock at WM XVII, Rock/Jericho at No Mercy 2001, Benoit/Michaels on Raw, Eddie/Misterio on Smackdown.....the list goes on. A Benoit/Jericho Title match would certainly have the fans attention and, considering it would be marketed alongside the Michaels/HHH Hell-in-a-Cell, it should be able to get a decent buyrate as well.
  10. I can't take that fake smile of George anymore. I didn't like his performances tonight - in fact, I just found them to be dreadfully boring. Especially the first one. You're supposed to dance during Fred Astaire songs - not stand there with the same cheesy smile on your face. It's become very clear that George has used up all his talent, and I would be ecstatic to see him go tomorrow. But I don't think it will wind up that way. With that said: 1) LaToya 2) Fantasia 3) Jasmine 4) Diana 5) George BOTTOM TWO: Jasmine George BOOT: Jasmine
  11. So, what you're saying is.....we aren't actually talking about the Black Eyed Peas. This thread, in essence, is actually to complain about corrupt cops and their negative effect on society as a whole. Incredibly deep post, Rip.
  12. So let's see....comparing the top two matches from both PPVs..... JUDGMENT DAY Eddie Guerrero vs. Bradshaw The Undertaker vs. Booker T VS. BAD BLOOD Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H - Hell in a Cell Chris Jericho vs. Chris Benoit It's pathetic. They don't even compare.
  13. Have you forgotten that BBCW and -iB- post there? Surely you don't want to kick their asses. Meet me and try and kick my ass. Despite being immature, I'm a pretty fucking strong person. You on the other hand are probably are a 12 year old nerd wearing thick glasses, that snorts when you laugh, since you obviously have no life outside of trying to insult me, where you fail miserably. You got me. I am no match for your clear and original wit. By the way, you need about 7 more posts to match your average of 29 POSTS PER DAY. I hope you can do it.....

    The Sims

I've never been a big fan of the Sims. I just find the games to be incredibly tedious. For me, the best part of playing the games is entering the Money Code over and over, trying to build the best house possible. But after that point.....eh. It's interesting for the first few minutes but, personally, I find it to get old incredibly fast. I've played the Sims for PS2 and, while the premise of getting jobs, promotions, and moving into different houses is entertaining for a little while, the events eventually run into each other and it starts to feel like you're playing for nothing. Some people are passionate about the Sims and truly feel that they are among the best games on the market. I'm not one of those people.
  17. Which is why some people were OUTRAGED in the "WrestleMania XX DVD" thread to read that the crowd chants in Goldberg/Lesnar might have been edited. YOU may not have cared about the Goldberg/Lesnar match at Mania. Many people did.
  18. Would DerangedTirts work?
  19. Jerome, following the Yankee World Series Loss Complete with Jeff Weaver bitching. We officially have AngleSault on the radio.
  20. The Debbie Downer sketch actually has people talking about SNL for the first time in a while. With that said, there will be 0 Debbie sketches for the rest of the season, and about 5 Versace skits - with more than 1 being crammed onto each remaining show. God, Maya Rudolph sucks.
  21. You still should show respect for the man. His entire life has now been confined to a wheelchair, and it came as a result of being a professional wrestler. If nothing else, it's not a terrible request to ask you to shake his hand and talk to him for a few minutes. From all accounts, he's a decent person, and he should be treated as such. It's not about greeting Stone Cold, The Undertaker, and guys who you think can do something for your career in the future. It's about being a good human being, and being kind towards those that are now less fortunate than you - such as one that is paralyzed and permanently confined to a wheelchair. You really should quit now.
  22. Perhaps because Dynamite Kid wasn't sitting in the WWE Locker Room, so there wasn't an opportunity to shake his hand. Perhaps also that people actually like Droz, and think that he should be treated with the utmost respect by the new people, while the Dynamite Kid has always been considered to be a bit of a douchebag. I'm not saying I agree with the "shake hands with Droz or your career is finished" mentality, but the question you posed was quite idiotic.
  23. When you open the diary, take notice of the dates at the top. Specifically, which one mentions the failure of the bike lock......
  24. You forgot to apologize to BBCW....... Good thing I was here to remind you.
  25. I was finding the Debbie Downer sketch to be hilarious, even before everyone started cracking up. But then, once everyone started laughing, the sketch managed to become even funnier. One of the highlights of the skit had to be when the camera did a close up of Rachel, complete with foghorn sound effect, and she completely burst in front of the camera. Then, later on, she had to puff her cheeks just to try to stop. It was one of my favorite SNL sketches this season.
