I hope its not Punk. I dont want another rehash of their fued. And plus, TNA fueds are normally short like the Lynn/Credible one, so the Raven/Punk fued would be over in 4 or 5 weeks.

We know who we want the mystery man to be.....and it's not anybody that has been named in this thread. (CM Punk, Buchannan, Malice, Vampiro) The reason we went with the ending we went with this week is because we wanted to use the finish to advance the Raven vs Douglas match we're coming back with on September 17. When will the mystery man be revealed? Soon. Bob Ryder ------- I've read all of the notes "Big Daddy" has posted, and while some of them contain accurate information....the post about Alexis is one I want to respond to. We have known for several months that there was a strong probability that she would end up at some point with the WWE. She had a couple of dark matches for them, and we were aware they had some interest in her. As far as Vince Russo and Glenn Gilberti being "opposed" to offering Alexis a contract, that's totally false. They aren't involved in those kinds of decisions to begin with, and they have had no conversations whatsoever regarding a contract for Alexis. Alexis wasn't offered a long term deal because the role she was playing for us was one that didn't allow for a high-dollar offer, and a long term deal at the money we were paying her would not have been fair to her. We made the decision to book her basically on a nightly deal as long as possible, realizing that at some point she would be leaving us. There had been no discussions with her about a "re-do" on the contract. When Alexis called me to tell me she was signing with the WWE, the very first word out of my mouth were "Congratulations". She was very appreciative of the opportunity we gave her and the spot we put her in, and handled herself very professionally. Nobody at TNA was "pissed off". As to where she will end up in the WWE, at least for the short term it will be OVW. We wish Alexis the very best of luck and thank her for her hard work in TNA. Bob Ryder

Opposed, meaning they didn't like it.

There were several within TNA who had suggested about 3 months ago giving Alexis Laree a 1 year deal. Vince Russo, Gilberti and a couple of others were apparently opposed to the idea. There had been rumors that WWE had been watching Laree, so TNA signed her to an 8 week deal. The deal ended and there was discussion between TNA and Laree to re-do a contract. The night after Laree had her hair snipped by Douglas, she phoned the TNA offices and said thank you for the opportunity but i'm going to a sign a deal with the WWE. Apparently this pissed off a lot of people in TNA who felt she could have warned them and given TNA time to phase her out of the show. Others simply shot back with "I told you so" when she left. -------- The reason we didn't see the Mystery Man this week is because TNA still doesn't know who the Mystery Man is going to be... so they wanted to put him on hold this week. They had several considerations but none have been agreed upon in booking meetings. CM Punk is not currently a consideration, but I did mention it to them. Vampiro has been calling TNA like crazy looking for work. He has been making the calls himself since his agent Bob Barnett seems to have heat with Bob Ryder. There are many within TNA who have heat with Vampiro and don't view him as a true professional. They have all said that with Vamp you have to understand that he could just no-show you at any time -- like Sabu. The general consensus seems to be that they will bring him in, if and when they believe he can make money for the company. This is from the TotalNonstop boards.....

If Styles won clean, everyone would have complained about how Raven never fulfills his destiny and how they killed Raven's heat and blah blah. Sounds like a good show. They could, look at Low Ki. And he never said anything about hurting someone or not, except for Finlay, he just said "The people who suck resort to working stiff." But is he saying the people who work stiff really suck? Something to think about. Not really, but you can if you want.

treble, he keeps saying he is spending "9.95" but not to see Russo and the consistancy sucks and all of this other stuff but he doesn't buy it for himself. He buys it for Dames. If I went to Blockbuster and rented "Jackie Chan's Famous Fights" for my mom and I watched it with her and I hated it, it's kinda not right to complain about spending your money on something that sucked because it wasn't for you to watch to begin with. Thats how I see it.

You can complain, but not the "Im spending 10 dollars" stuff. If I spend 16 dollars to take my little sister to see "Big dogs in a little world" and I dont really want to see then Im not going to say "I cant believe I spent 8 dollars to see that. All dogs go to heaven comes on cable for free, that movie sucked ass. Blah blah blah". Maybe thats just me.
