  1. Samoa Joe Vs. CM Punk sounds great. I never would have thought Samoa Joe could go 60 or that Punk could do it on 2 straight nights. Can't wait to see that one...
  2. Results from CZWfans.com: Merc d. Sean Bishop Jon Dahmer d. DJ Hyde, GQ, and Shun The Kabuki Kid Mikey Tenderfoot d. Justice and Rod Steel Blackout d. Rebels Army (Blackout THEN challenged the H8 Club) Blackout d. H8 Club, Blackout are the new CZW Tag Team Champions! (Ruckus and Sabian wrestled for Blackout. HOWEVER, Derek Frasier and Chris Cash wrestled for Rebel's Army because Zandig came out and said Rebel was suspended.) Jay Fury d. Jeremy V and Gabriel Nate Webb d. Excalibur and Jigsaw (After the match Excalibur came out and challenged Bill Goldberg to a match, lol) Adam Flash d. Trent Acid (After the match Zandig came out and made an announcement. He announced the first match for BOTB 4. The match will be, Teddy Hart vs. Trent Acid vs. Homicide.) Chris Hero beat B-Boy to retain the Iron Man title Trifecta finals: Nate Webb d. Jay Fury and Mikey Tenderfoot to advance to the BOTB tourney. Messiah d. Wifebeater (The stipulation for the deathmatch ended up being Unlucky 13 Staple Guns and Panes of Glass)
  3. This looks like it'll be a tremendous event. It's just too bad PWG is running the same day or I'd be there live... oh well maybe next year. Right now I gotta go with Alex Shelley to win it, with Bobby Quance having the break out performance of the show.
  4. The ROH boards are back up.... and still as closeminded as ever. So you can go back to hearing such gems as "CHRIS HERO SUX DUDE!!!!" and "PWG workers are extremely sloppy and most of them look like 17 year olds that weigh 150 soaking wet" Enjoy!
  5. Also CM Punk was announced to be on the show. Anyway, fantastic card... I really can't wait for this one. Inoki Dojo is one of the best feds going today.
  6. Looks like a great tourney for an even greater cause. Hero vs. Homicide in round 2 should be great. But overall I think Roderick Strong will probably win the whole thing. I'll make sure to buy this when it's released...
  7. I voted for PWG because it's the promotion I most enjoy overall. But really I think matchwise IWA:MS is probably the best indy going right now.
  8. Thats true, but I meant that it's looking to beat out the Honeymooners for longest running TV comedy. Or I might be crazy. I think you mean "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" which ran from 10-2-52 to 9-3-66. I think it still holds the record or is tied with The Simpsons... I forget.
  9. I loved this game! It was really ahead of it's time. I remember I would sometimes spend hours playing it at the Arcade. My tag team was Mr. Perfect and Earthquake. Nothing could stop them.. great combo of Power and speed. For the Royal Rumble I used Warrior or Mr. Perfect.
  10. I'm thinking about going. Depends on the card/ticket price really.
  11. lol, ruckus will have to pretend you said 18. Anyway, this is shaping up to be a great card. I gotta pick Nate Webb to win the trifecta because Excalibur has the PWG show the same day as BOTB.

  13. "By Silverback, PWG Staff Writer Chinese Camp, CA - Much like America's favorite feline Garfield, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com) is a big fan of lasagna, and the subject of a major motion picture. To celebrate the release of the new Tom Hanks feature "The Terminal," which is loosely based on PWG, we present "Rocktoberfest!!" on Saturday, June 19th at the Santa Ana Elks Lodge, which will function as the film's unofficial premiere. While we can't guarantee that the film will actually be shown at the event, we can guarantee a fantastic night of professional wrestling action, and a possible appearance by big time Hollywood star Tom Hanks! (It is plausible that Tom Hanks might buy a ticket to the show, isn't it?) PWG's "Rocktoberfest!!" will feature: Bobby Quance vs. Puma After the events of May's "44 Ways To Kill You With A Pimento," Commissioner Paul T created "Rocktoberfest!!" in some sort of perverse plot to further certain hatred and rivalries that exist in PWG! Despite unclear motives, Puma has seemingly aligned himself with the team of Ricky Reyes, Rocky Romero, and Samoa Joe. There are many theories as to why this has occurred, but the simplest explanation (which is often the best) is that Bobby Quance is a huge fan of cookies, and Puma isn't! In fact, nothing disgusts him more than cookies, and therefore, these two men will battle not only for their pride, but who's culinary taste reigns supreme! Samoa Joe vs. B-Boy After his impressive victory over Scorpio Sky at "44 Ways...," B-Boy demanded a "main event level" match from Commissioner Paul T. Because Paul T is not accustomed to receiving threats and demands from the likes of B-Boy, he was taken aback and needed some time to think. After a game of Street Fighter II and some long division to clear his head, he did what any clear thinking Asian-American would have done, and decided to punish the "New Age Punisher" in the most sadistic way possible. Well, he could have killed him, or simply not put B-Boy on the show, but opted instead to make him face off with Samoa Joe, who many consider the most dangerous man in wrestling today. If B-Boy can defeat Samoa Joe, surely he would be in line for a title shot. If Samoa Joe comes out on top, B-Boy will be in line for months of intense physical therapy. CM Punk vs. Spanky Interoffice Memo From: T, Paul, Commissioner To: Staff, PWG Message: Hey, this s--t will rule, so we be puttin' it on the show. PWG Tag Team Title Match Super Dragon & Excalibur © vs. Scott Lost & Joey Ryan After defeating The Ballard Brothers and subsequently banishing them from Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, the X-Foundation find themselves one step from the top of the PWG Tag Team Division, however tag champions Super Dragon & Excalibur are not the biggest obstacles the X-Foundation need to overcome. Over the past few months, fans have witnessed the storybook romance of Scott Lost and Joey Ryan unravel before their eyes, but their relationship has endured long enough to climb the tag team ladder. Will the titles that so easily divided the X-Foundation be the promise ring that keeps them together, or the force that splits the up for good? Do Super Dragon & Excalibur care about the delicate nature of the X-Foundation's relationship, or are they just concerned with defending the PWG tag tiles a record 2nd time! Or just with seeing Garfield The Movie? Who knows! But you'll find out on June 19th! PWG Championship Match Adam Pearce © vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Babi Slymm vs. ??? Interoffice Memo From: T, Paul, Commissioner To: Staff, PWG Message: It is with great joy... I mean deep regret that I must announce that SoCal's own 9 foot lucha master, Hardkore Kidd, will be unable to attend the next PWG show. All my hatred aside, I wish him the best of luck in WWE, and I hope they are smart enough to bring El Jefe too. Now the rest of those three fools hate each other, so we gotta find somebody crazy enough to jump in there and take the title from Pearce. Plus Scorpio Sky, Quicksilver, Disco Machine, Top Gun Talwar, Chris Bosh, Charles Mercury, Sal & Vito Thomaselli, and Apollo Kahn are scheduled to appear! Also, watch for a major anouncement regarding Pro Wrestling Guerrilla DVD's in the next few weeks! Pro Wrestling Guerrilla "Rocktoberfest!!" takes place Saturday, June 19, 2004 at the Santa Ana Elks Lodge, at 8:00PM. The Santa Ana Elks Lodge is located at 212 S. Elk Lane, Santa Ana, CA 92701. Tickets are only $15 each, and will be available at the door. For more information, please visit http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com or email [email protected]. " Holy crap... this could be one the best PWG shows ever. Every match announced so far should be freaking amazing I tells ya.
  14. Results from this show from SoCalUncensored.com : PWG Elks Lodge Santa Ana, CA Attendance: 125 Supa Badd, Human Tornado, & Disco Machine over Topgun Talwar, Charles Mercury, & Chris Bosh [14'59] Puma (Pinoy Boy) over Tony Kozina [9'14] Frankie Kazarian over Hardkore Kidd [14'03] Ricky Reyes over Bobby Quance [9'16] Super Dragon & Excalibur over M Dogg & Josh Prohibition to retain the PWG Tag Titles [19'04] B-Boy over Scorpio Sky [15'17] Joey Ryan & Scott Lost over The Ballards [13'09] Babi Slymm over Adam Pearce by DQ [17'43] " Now here's some of my thoughts on the show: 6-man opener was a very good comedy match, and a great way to start off the show. Team Disco wins after Supa Badd chokeslams Mercury on Disco's knee. Afterwards "Disco Jesus" Disco Machine takes Top Gun, Bosh and Mercury under this wing. I wonder where this one is going? Kozina Vs. PUMA was a good fast paced match almost lucha style at times. PUMA wins after a tiger suplex. Then Adam Pearce/HKK come out for a promo. Which was just classic... Pearce just ripped up everyone who yelled something at him. Kazarian Vs. Hardkore Kid was loads of fun, alot better than most would think it would be. Sick spot where HKK concrete crashs Kazarian from the top rope. And even after loads of interfearance from El Jeffe and Pearce, Frankie rolls up the HKK for the win. Ricky Reyes Vs. Bobby Quance was very good but maybe not as good as it could have been as it was way too short. Reyes wins after a Fisherman's buster. Afterwards PUMA breaks up a brawl between the two... and then superkicks Bobby Quance. Tag Title Match was pretty wild. It wasn't the all out spot fest I thought it would be, but it was still a very exciting match. Sick moment toward the end where M-Dogg goes for a Standing Dragonrana on SD in the corner but ends up flipping over him and landing balls first on the ringpost! Ouch indeed! As Gorilla Monsoon would have said.. "That will give you a negative attitude" Finish came when Excalibur spiked the newly soprano M-Dogg 20 with the dreaded Tiger Driver 98 B-Boy Vs. Scorpio Sky was my MOTN, Great back and forth action. That saw Sky kick out of the Shining Wizard. The finish came after B-Boy hit a Folded up Tombstone (think Chris Hero's piledriver.. as a tombstone) X-Foundation Vs. Ballards was pretty damn good. Finish came after Lost hit his vertabreaker 2 on one of the Ballards. Due to a prematch stip the Ballards are now gone from PWG and the X-Foundation get a title shot at SBS next show. Adam Pearce Vs. Babi Slymm was great oldschool fun. Pearce is just a freaking god in there. The match also saw the return of Pearce's former manager Mr. Vander Pyle who turned on Pearce and sided with Slymm. Overall it's was a hell of a great time. Not a bad match on the card, it'd be well worth picking up on DVD when it comes out. PWG's next show is set for June 19th with the following set to appear: Spanky, CM Punk, Samoa Joe (I thought he was booked for USAPRO on the 19th?) Thomsaselli Brothers, Adam Pearce, Ricky Reyes, Bobby Quance, PUMA, S.B.S., Scott Lost, Joey Ryan and all the PWG regulars set to appear. Don't miss that one...

  18. Ok, since the show is weekend.... I just thought I'd kill some time and give my thoughts & Predictions on the upcoming show! Sound like fun? (don't answer that) Havana Pitbull Ricky Reyes Vs. Bobby Quance Thoughts: No doubt one of the best things to happen in SoCal indy wrestling besides PWG is the Inoki Dojo. I don't know what it is exactly but nearly everyone involved with the Dojo is an amazing wrestler. Recently in just PWG alone we've seen a Dojo worker American Dragon Vs. Bobby Quance steal "Taste the Radness" Some would say AD Vs. Brad Bradley stole the March 7th card, Ricky Reyes Vs. PUMA steal the March 27th PWG show, Reyes Vs. Apollo Kahn, American Dragon Vs. Samoa Joe both steal the April PWG show. Heck you could argue that a Dojo member has had the match of the show at every PWG show since November. So at this months PWG show, we get even more Inoki Dojo goodness in the form of Ricky Reyes Vs. Bobby Quance. Will this one be another show stealer? I think it will. Prediction: Ricky Reyes, giving him momentum for a possible match with American Dragon next show. S.B.S. (Super Dragon and Excalibur) Vs. M-Dogg 20 and Josh Prohibition Thoughts: While I do think Reyes Vs. Quance will be the best match on the card, I must say I think this one will be the most memorable. I've never seen SD/Excalibur have a tag match together that wasn't amazing. And considering that they will be facing arguably one of the best spot teams going in M-Dogg 20/Josh Prohibtion. This match has just an insane amount of potental and IMO may just be the best match of it's kind in years. Prediction: SBS retain the belts (making them the first team to ever do so) "The Future" Frankie Kazarian Vs. Hardkore Kidd Thoughts: The best Hardkore Kidd singles match I can remember (aside from maybe his Inoki Dojo match with Samoa Joe) was against Frankie Kazarian at the 3/29/03 GSCW show. So I have high hopes that this match will be even better than that one. So I'm picking this match as my sleeper match of the show just because I feel it's being overlooked. Prediction: Hardkore Kidd (because I'm not sure where Frankie stands in this whole NWA-TNA mess) "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce Vs. Big Babi Slymm Thoughts: This should be a very fun match, Pearce is just a true heel master and Babi Slymm is pretty solid in there as well so they should tell a great story in there. But I think the real deciding factor in this one isn't just the wrestlers, it's the crowd. If the crowd is super hot for this one it make the match off the charts fun. So hopefully the crowd is hot, Adam Pearce is in classic heel form and maybe Babi Slymm will bring his posse (Ala his match with Super Dragon at RevPro's "One Step Beyond") to help push his one over the edge and make it one to remember. Prediction: Pearce retains the title. X-Foundation Vs. The Ballard Brothers Thoughts: Another match that I think will surprise alot of people. These teams reportedly had an excellent match in UPW a few months ago, so I don't see why this one would be any different. Also it'll be interesting to see where they go with the X-Foundation dissension angle. Maybe this will be the match where it all comes to a head? Prediction: Ballards get another lucky win after the X-Foundation have a falling out. Plus set to appear are B-Boy, Scorpio Sky, Quicksilver, PUMA, Disco Machine, Chris Bosh, Top Gun Talwar, Charles Mercury and Tony Kozina. But keep in mind you never know what else PWG has up there sleeves! In the past they've surprised us with appearances by CM Punk, Teddy Hart and others. SO anything's possible here..... SO if you happen to be in the SoCal area... attend this show!!! if not in the area, then support the cause by buying one of their amazingly delightfully fantastic DVD releases at http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com/merch/ SO what do you think sirs? Anyone else have any thoughts on this card? Anyone disagree with my predictions? Anyone have change for $50? (preferably 4 tens and 2 fives but 4 tens and 10 ones would work) Thanks for reading (or at least quickly glancing through it)
  19. Holy crap, great to see Havana Pitbull Ricky Reyes getting a dark match. Not like they'd ever hire him though. Also good to see Hardkore Kidd and I think maybe Chad Wicks(?) getting TV matches. I guess the Inoki Dojo is paying off... just too bad the moron fans don't know who they are.
  20. That's truly sad, he was a great talent. R.I.P.
  21. I remember he cut a promo in ECW once "3/20/97 Sabu vs Spike Dudley - Sabu wears orange and black and wins using a T-bone Tazplex followed by the Tazmission. Sabu actually gets on the mic and speaks, and he puts Bill Alfonso through a table"
  22. Dear god... that is going to suck.
  23. Wow, this whole story is pretty f'd up. Geeze it's not like rowdy fans at the ECW arena is anything new... 3PW really needs to rethink how they do business because threatening fans backstage for calling them names is about as unprofessional as it gets. If Jasmine can't take someone calling her a name then she really needs to get out of the wrestling business. As for ever going back, I know if a company ever did that to me at show I'd never be back ever again.
  24. Some of my childhood favorites: Pee-wee's Big Adventure The Goonies Ferris Bueller's Day Off Karate Kid Crossroads Naked Gun Movies Back To The Future Major League Ghostbusters Every Ernest Movie All the old Universal Monster Movies Any Old Godzilla Movie Every Arnold Schwarzenegger movie The Wizard (The movie were Fred Savage plays Super Mario 3) Among many others....
  25. Not yet but the match is set. "Saturday May 22nd, CHIKARA is back at Emmaus Fire Company and the card is as follows: FIRST TIME EVER! Chris Hero vs. Joker" Should be good...
