Ummmm....we've all told you. That what we want was the storylines from 2000. That drew the most money and the best ratings. Then they switched to your style of booking and the ratings plummeted. That is a cold hard fact. That is also proof that people wanted to see what we want to see because they were paying for it in 2000. Yet somehow we're idiots that don't know anything and you are. tmd said that my storyline idea was stupid, namely jericho playing or abusing trish to get more heat. Did you ever think about how an abusing Trish angle could effect her? It would almost kill her credibility as a wrestler, thus hurting the whole women's division. no, it would get her more cheers, because more women in the crowd would relate to her. "She's getting beaten by her abusive boyfriend, just like me! Yay!"

Well, considering you said you tricked the secretary into thinking you were a highschool friend of Gewertz, I don't know how you can say they "know talent when they see it" in reference to yourself. You didn't get to talk to Gewertz on the phone because of your phenomenal writing abilities, you got there by lying and conning your way in. So it has no relevance to your writing abilities whatsoever, nor your ideas for the business.

But he has lost viewers because of it. If he wants to bring in new viewers, he's not doing a good job. Ratings are currently steady around a 3.5 mark, but they were much better a couple years ago. Like I said, balance is what the WWE needs. You need stuff to appeal to a broad range of tastes. You can have one or two shock angles, and then balance those out with one or two more traditional, simple premise angles. And then mix it up with at least 1 hour of wrestling every show. At least 1 hour.

You mentioned before, RobVanDam420, that Vince is trying to compete with sitcoms. Why would he do that? Because he has lost touch with his fans and, some might say, reality. The best example I could think of off the top of my head was if MLB was losing ratings to the NFL and Golf. They wouldn't start intergrating football and golf elements into their sport and make sure that the actual baseball takes a back seat in the hopes of luring over some viewers, now would they? That is exactly what Vince McMahon and company are doing right now. They are trying to be something they are not, and are putting the thing that makes WRESTLING WRESTLING, the actual WRESTLING, into the back of the line. When you have some 30 odd minutes of wrestling on a 2 hour wrestling show, something has gone terribly wrong and it's time to step back and re-evaluate.

Yes, but shock tv is not what the audience wants to see anymore, they've had their fill for awhile. I wouldn't mind if WWE did a couple shock angles, as long as they backed it up with GOOD wrestling. What the WWE needs right now is balance. They can still do shock tv angles to bring in the calibre of fan who enjoys that, but they should also have more traditional feuds based on simple premises so everyone has something they want to see. And above all, if the angle is based around shock tv, make sure it is set up around GOOD wrestling. Wrestling foremost, the angles and stories should just keep things interesting inbetween matches and to set them up. Angles should not be the focus of the shows.

But they already have several feuds revolving around this already! Test is abusive to Stacy, Steiner was nice to Stacy, then when he had her, he became abusive. Austin beats Stacy because she won't drink beer with him (!). If Jericho jumps on the woman beating bandwagon, people will start to not care. And if all we have on RAW are these woman abusing angles, people will walk away or will tune in casually, see what's going on, and add more fuel to the fire that "wrestling is for rednecks." Jericho needs to do something to make him stand out from the rest of the guys on RAW. no one cares about test. do you? i dont. i will remember what austin did to stacy, as well as steiner. speaking of steiner, he would work well with victoria as his main freak. I don't care about Test personally, but he is in the middle of such a feud, and as unbelievable as this is, he does have fans out there (I know, I'm as shocked as you are). So adding Jericho to the already long list of guys CURRENTLY treating women like crap would only hurt Jericho. He would blend in more and the fans would notice it; "Didn't we just see this exact same thing with Test and Steiner 25 minutes ago?" Steiner would work well with Victoria, but I like her in her current gimmick with Steven Richards. I think if Steiner got with Victoria later on, they could play up that Steiner and Victoria are fighting over who is the "dominant" one in the relationship, because they are both overbearing characters.

Okay, so where does the interest lie in this feud, specifically with Jericho sleeping with her and then dropping her? Do you honestly thing that will get ratings, or even interest? First, you turn off what is becoming a larger demographic; female viewers. Second, only the most immature and brain-dead male fans would go "Woooo! Look Pa, Jericho done bagged himself a hottie! This be some good wrestlin', gahyuk!" Let it be that he is using it against Austin, but has genuine feelings for her. Christian comes along and starts to imitate Jericho for his own selfish reasons, leading to a Jericho/Christian confrontation.
