I remember being really excited when Sci Fi first came on TV... and then I never watched it because no shows interest me on that channel. Now, with the exception of Tripping the Rift, I finally have a reason to watch Sci Fi after all these years. Awesome.

As serious as the subject matter is, I still got a good laugh out of that.

I was hoping they'd hire Eric Bischoff to be the on-air authority figure when his WWE deal ends, to be honest. That could have been interesting, IMO.

Game Informer confirmed a PS3 remake of Final Fantasy VII using the live action battle system from FF 12...

I've done that with the PS2 SmackDown games already. I usually use CAWs of my friends, but used real wrestlers for SDSYM. Goldust defeated Triple H for the Undisputed Title at King of the Ring. And was champion for five months. That is awesome. Also, the best SD engine for simming shows is here comes the pain, hands down.

The last five minutes of Christian/Jarrett for the NWA title at Against All Odds 2006, including the ring filling up with fans all hoisting Christian onto their shoulders as he holds the title up. I still get goosebumps when I watch the end of that match.

Shame WWE took the picture off their website, but this is really nothing unusual. At a WCW houseshow I attended around 1998 or so, when DDP was the U.S. Champion, he came out wearing the Television Title. I have a picture of this at my house somewhere. I will try to remember to scan it. I went to a RAW house show in Early 2004 two weeks before the Rumble... Flair and Batista defended the tag belts against the Dudleyz and Flair came out wearing Orton's IC title, while Bats had his tag belt. I always thought that was funny (and apparantly, a sign of things to come...?)

I'm a Hurricane mark and really enjoyed the six-way Cruiser title match from the Royal Rumble where Helms won the belt... even if it was rather clusterfuckish.

I'm surprised there's no Edge DVD out yet. They could call it "Living on the Edge" or something else, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

That would be cool, but is there a market for it? I mean, personally, I'd rather see a Royal Rumble anthology before SS, or Summerslam... and of course, a King of the Ring anthology, all ten of them, would be awesome, possibly with a bonus disc featuring a big match from each of the ten winners (good luck finding ones for Gunn and Mabel though, lol...)

I don't know about five years, but Simpsons really hasn't been funny since 2002/2003-ish. I've wondered at some points if Matt Groening wasn't making intentionally bad shows for the sake of the fans finally letting the show end.

Hit-and-miss. He used to be pretty good and worked hard, but since joining New Japan he's gotten lazy and only cranks it up once in a while. If TM is motivated, it could be very good. If not, then *** max. So still better than 86% of the WWE's programming?

That is great. Innuendos rock. And Test never really bothered me. I mean, he's no Chris Benoit, but he's not Boogeyman bad, at least. He could bring an interesting mid-card/upper-mid card heel to maybe Raw, where they could use one.
