That was the most exciting three and a half inning game ever!

In case you didn't watch the Houston/Marshall game last night, and you probably didn't, you missed Houston wide receiver Patrick Edwards get Theismann'd by some band equipment.

I don't care about ERA for relievers because of the specialization of their use. Wood had a big edge on Lidge in WHIP and K/BB Ratio. I can see putting Lidge as a high as 5th but definitely not above Soria.

This is all assuming Coach Samurai will be back next year since again he still just the interim coach. Everyone loved his postgame rant but the Niners are going to have to show some signs of improvement by the end of the year if they are going to retain him. I don't think anyone could realistically look at O'Sullivan as a long term solution to their quarterback problems anyways.

Yup, it's official Now begin the "They didn't want to pre-empt House" conspiracy theories!
-
The infield is in terrible shape, they had to delay it. Bad thing about all this is the weather supposedly might be worse tomorrow so we could be looking at Wednesday to play the final three and a half+ innings.

Penn State has ended our long national nightmare! Also they now just need to avoid pulling a West Virginia to go undefeated.
-
Maybe I am missing something, but I don't get this acronym. He's off by a letter, it's WLOCP for World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. Also known as this:
-
Louisville beats South Florida 24-20. Now 55-34. Before this game Rutgers had scored a total of 79 points against I-A competition all year!
-
Virginia, who looked like the one of the worst teams in the country a month into the season, is about to move into sole possession of first place (unless VaTech can comeback) of the ACC Coastal division. The ACC is by far and away the most fascinating clusterfuck of a conference to ever be assembled. Edit: Should have figured Edwin would beat me to it.
-
With three timeouts left you go for it on 4th and 6th inside your own 30? Cue someone posting the Mike Gundy "I'm a Man" picture.
-
While trying to avoid a sack, Northwestern's back up quarterback Mike Kafka threw the pass out of bounds...backwards 20 yards. It should make some highlight reels.
-
That might been the longest half of football ever.

JHawk has vouched for Hawk 34 getting his picks to him prior to the deadline and forwarded the original picks to me. Hawk 34 did pick West Virginia for Thursday night so I've decided to give him credit for the game. SPORTSMANSHIP~. Now watch JHawk lose by tiebreak.
