World Wrestling Entertainment has signed former WCW Hardcore champion Big Vito to a deal and he'll be debuting this Monday at the Smackdown house show in Portland, Maine. The belief is that Vito will be put with Nunzio as a tag team. Vito, who worked enhancement for WWF when he was first breaking in under his original ring name Skull Von Krush, had a brief run in Extreme Championship Wrestling as one of the Baldies. He was brought into WCW as one of the Mamalukes by longtime friend Vince Russo. He also had a brief run in TNA, feuding with Irish Pat Kenney. An HBK heel turn was long overdue, but I don't understand why he'd turn on Hogan considering everything he's talked about. The booking team better have a ***** angle planned for this to explain it. However, I don't have enough confidence in the booking team to even throw out a ** angle. And I guess this puts the kilbosh on any permanent Rockers re-union now, unless Marty comes back heel.

I was at the show where Austin was supposed to start bossing around Flair. Imagine how shocked we were to get Flair vs. McMahon for control of everything...especially after they had Flair vs. McMahon in the same arena 5 months earlier for Royal Rumble 2002.

And RAW had 2/3rds of the bWo before the trade. Your point?

According to several sources, World Wrestling Entertainment is looking at adding several tag teams to the roster. ECW stars Axl Rotten and Balls Mahoney are scheduled for tryouts at TV tapings next month. I believe Rotten and Mahoney are booked for Raw on 7/11 in East Rutherford, New Jersey and Smackdown on 7/12 in Worcester, MA. The suggestion to bring them in came from John Laurinaitis. There's no word on whether they would retain their ECW personas if they were picked up. There has been also been discussion about Danny Doring and Roadkill internally as well.
