  1. My God, what a fucking pussy they've turned Finlay into.
  2. Once Austin got done beating Owen, Austin was going to go back after Bret again, leading up to Austin winning the WWF Title from Bret at WM14. Bret and Bulldog were just messing around the Patriot and Vader in the mid-card until Austin got done with Owen. They were going to set it up with the same deal with Austin basically saying he didn't give a shit about the Intercontinental Title because he wanted Bret's WWF Title and just run right back into Bret vs. Austin. I always wondered how this would have played out if Bret never left to WCW. Austin finally getting his big win over Bret and winning the WWF Title at the same time would have been a lot more satisfying than him beating a crippled HBK that he barely feuded with was, but if it had happened, there would have been no Austin/McMahon, which pushed the company back over WCW.
  3. None of the links work.
  4. Watching an old show recently with the table up there and seeing Kane come out during it, quite frankly I don't blame him. I don't imagine Booker T's entrance was fun either.
  5. They changed the position back to ringside shortly after Bischoff was shitcanned on TV. Jim Ross has made it clear in his blogs that he hated being next to the ramp and being away from ringside, so he probably had a lot to do with it getting moved back.
  6. Maybe this is their way of discouraging duplicate votes.
  7. Almost every bit of that statement is wrong. Their first show on TNN was September 25, 2000, the night after Unforgiven 2000. The rating for their last USA Network show on 9/18 was 5.7. The rating for the 9/25 TNN show was a 5.4. The shows on 8/28 and 9/4 were delayed until 11pm due to the U.S. Open, which is why they dipped down to the 4 level. The 9/11 show, back in the normal 9pm timeslot, was a 5.8.
  8. I enjoy that they aren't using him on every show. Keeps it fresh.
  9. In a nice bit of continuity, Candice Michelle wore the same robe to the ring that she wore at last year's No Mercy, where she lost the Women's Title to Beth Phoenix.
  10. It's still in a lot better shape compared to what Russo did to the WCW Cruiserweight Title.
  11. No No Just... no HEY I'M FAT WHITE AND SUCK A LOTTA BLACK DICK, WHERE'S THE WETBACK AND DEM FAGS AT??!! You mean... that this, sir... is not comedy in your opinion? You leave Carlos Mencia out of this discussion.
  12. Whatever, Noah. You got fucking busted and are now running away like a pussy.
  13. I remember reading that Trish Stratus got a higher cut of her merchandise than everyone else. I think it was around 75%.
  14. I liked how Mike McGuirk was talking about the Ultimate Warrior and how his facepaint coukd throw people off. Heenan waits a few seconds and just deadpans, "Your's does." I laughed like mad.
  15. HHH laid on the mat for 2 minutes after the bell. Shut up, whiners.
  16. Jeff Hardy booked to be a big fucking idiot on PPV II: Electric Boogaloo.
  17. Yes, I KNOW THAT. But in August 1999, he went back to his total red and yellow babyface garb. But Matt tried to say he was mashing the "Hollywood" persona and the red and yellow together like he did when he went back to the WWF. He never did that in WCW. He even went back to using that "American Made" music.
  18. Is it just me or is Big Show starting to get fat again?
  19. He was still known as Hollywood, though. He had the red and yellow weight belt. No he was not. He didn't do that schtick in WCW. When he went back to the red and yellow in WCW 1999, he went back to the old attire and everything: the yellow trunks and boots, the red kneepads, the yellow shirt and bandana. He was 100% 1994-1996 WCW Hulk Hogan.
  20. The Sting/Hogan Fall Brawl '99 match listing on WWE 24/7 is listed as "Sting vs. Hollywood Hogan", though this was a few months after Hogan went back to the red and yellow. Maybe something is going on.
  21. Oh man, I cannot wait to watch the trainwreck of Havoc '92 again. THE BARBARIAN GOES FOR THE WCW WORLD TITLE!
  22. Well, to be fair I doubt this had ever happened to Vince before and they didn't know how to handle this kind of stuff at the time.
  23. It's also a very minor tear that really doesn't need to be worked on. She says she's in no pain doing normal activities, and the brace keeps her from being in pain while working. I haven't read this new interview, but in the one she did a few years ago about the brace, she said it was suggested to her by Steve Austin. She'll probably get it fixed when she retires or WWE cuts her, either of which could be coming shortly. She'll be 38 next February.
  24. Did they keep in all the Pillman stuff on the 10/6 Raw, including the painfully awkward Melanie interview?
