In other news, it seems PWInsider has already killed their policy of blocking news stories from people with ad-blockers loaded in their browser.

Well damn, you learn something new everyday I guess. I watched this show live (I had just turned 8) and I could of sworn it was on a Saturday.
-
Summerslam was taped 2 days prior to air. I believe it was taped on a Saturday in London and aired Monday night in the States. Nope, Summerslam '92 aired in the U.S. on August 29, 1992, which was a Saturday. It aired on a tape delay of a few hours. Summerslam '93 aired on a Monday, so you're probably thinking of that.

Never. In the Internet age, they are not going to let results of their biggest show of the year hit the 'net before the show airs.

WWE just announced that the high definition feed of WM24 will be $64.95 and not the originally reported $69.95. The standard feed is still the reported $54.95.

Snoop Dogg is going to be the "Master of Ceremonies" for the Bunnymania match.

I would have bet my life that McMahon would have done WM18 in Atlanta to signify his official defeat of WCW. I'm shocked they still have never done one of these in the Georgia Dome. The capacity is approximately 71,000.

Holy shit, one of the "Industry News" articles on WWE.Com mentions the Wrestling Observer. Times. They are-a-changin'.
-
He probably wouldn't be able to sue. WWE probably has their contracts worded to avoid instances like that in situations like that. And I'm shocked that WWE doesn't realize by now that Coachman is a shitty commentator. He's best in a heel manager/authority figure role.

Then you're stupid.

John Cena calls out the The Rock for leaving wrestling
Enigma replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
Rock was also reportedly extremely unhappy that after putting over the Hurricane, he ended up getting Pedigreed by Triple H on five straight Raws after Rock took back off to Hollywood. -
This is UNREAL. I can't believe I am seeing this stuff on WWE.Com.

For whatever reason, Mysterio opted to have the surgery done in his hometown of San Diego by Dr. David Chao.

John Cena calls out the The Rock for leaving wrestling

So you're saying they work 345-360 days a year? I think you're a little off on that number. -
I figured this was threadworthy, because these are some heavy hitters and some heavy statements being thrown around. I also wonder if it'll affect The Rock's status for the Hall of Fame show. The entire interview can be found here: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...ticle849554.ece

That would be pretty crazy, considering both of them don't like wearing panties very much.

-- ECW World Champ Chavo Guerrero defeated CM Punk to retain the title -- Undertaker defeated Great Khali, Batista, Finlay, Big Daddy V, and MVP in the Smackdown/ECW Elimination Chamber -- Ric Flair defeated Mr. Kennedy -- World Heavyweight Champion Edge defeated Rey Mysterio to retain the title -- John Cena defeated WWE Champion Randy Orton by disqualification -- Triple H defeated Jeff Hardy, Shawn Michaels, Umaga, JBL, and Chris Jericho in the Raw Elimination Chamber

Was it a drug test? All I ever heard was "unprofessional behavior".

I thought Vince made fun of his hair being shaved?

Edge got a lot of new tattoos a while ago.

WWE.Com is reporting that Ranjin Singh, Great Khali's translator, (who is actually writing team member, Dave Kapoor) will undergo surgery Monday to repaired a fractured patella that he sustained at No Way Out. The injury happened during the Elimination Chamber match when the Undertaker kicked him from the chamber entrance to the floor. The only quote from Singh in the article that is farthest away from kayfabe is how the injury happened.

Well, there's nothing stopping him from buying a ticket. I remember when Sable showed up in the front row on Nitro in June or July 1999. It was a few weeks after she quit the WWF and filed that sexual harassmant lawsuit against them. The WWF couldn't do anything since it was proven that she bought a ticket and that WCW didn't put her there. During the break, Eric Bischoff (who was doing commentary at the time for some reason) went over and said hello to her. WCW just chose to stick the camera on her when they came back from commercial to create a convenient buzz. And since this event won't come anywhere close to television and this is Tommy Dreamer we're talking about, I doubt WWE will bat an eyelash.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
Enigma replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
I've never understood people that rationalize what Benoit did, such as Chris Jericho, by saying, "Well, this was a totally different person who did this. Let's just remember the person before that weekend." What a bunch of bullshit. Do you think the Toffolonis want to just remember who he was before that weekend? Do you think their pain is eased by the fact that he was such a great wrestler? This guy murdered their daughter and grandson. To top it off, he didn't have the guts to face the music for what he did so he killed himself. They don't fucking care about his wrestling skills or how good a person he supposedly was before this.
