  1. Regarding Bret and Cinzia, Bret had previously agreed to live in Italy before they got married. He even wrote about one time about how Italy was a beautiful country and couldn't wait to spend the rest of his life there. It wasn't until it came time to actually leave that Bret decided he wanted to stay in Canada.
  2. Brooke had to have done something to warrant a firing since they were supposed to be in Playboy and are in an angle on ECW.
  3. Punk clearly had no interest in what was going on. My girlfriend loves Ghosthunters but doesn't watch wrestling and said Punk came off as really out of place and detached, almost annoyed that he had to be there. She was ticked off that they'd put someone on the big live special that clearly had no interest in what was going on. She was entertained by Elijah though. He seemed really in to what was going on.
  4. What the hell is with JBL running in?
  5. I bet Vince jacked off at fucking over the Philadelphia crowd so much.
  6. Now to kill the crowd even more and remind them of how bad this show is, here comes the DivaSearch finals. And the fans are already booing.
  7. Wow, how do they expect the fans to pop for things like that? Shawn wants his rematch tonight. But no! It's at Survivor Series! They cocktease the crowd with Austin's music, but don't worry, he'll be here NEXT WEEK! WHEN RAW IS NOT IN PHILADELPHIA! Way to kill a crowd. It'll be the trifecta of stupidity if Jericho doesn't come back tonight.
  8. Awesome, DH Smith now has generic music instead of his Dad's music. The vanillification is complete.
  9. The Sandman recently did an interview with Andy Steven of PWMania.com. Here are the highlights: - He claims he was not fired, but asked for his release because he couldn't take the road schedule anymore and wanted to be with his family more - He liked being with the ECW brand more than the Raw brand because his friends were on ECW - He would go to TNA if the money was right - He couldn't pick out any one person he enjoyed working with the most in WWE - He said moving him to Raw was a last-minute decision by the creative team - He keeps very minimal contact with some people in WWE - He is accepting bookings through Tod Gordon at www.myspace.com/pwuczar - He has launched a new website at www.hardcoreiconsandman.com
  10. Has a thread on TSM ever reached 5,000 posts?
  11. Raw is in Philadelphia. Jericho has a book signing Tuesday in Philadelphia. Do the math.
  12. I remember back during 98 when Sable's breasts would get bigger every week. By the time she did the famous evening gown match with Luna, they looked like basketballs. She eventually got them reduced because she claims they were causing her back pain.
  13. A countout and a DQ in two title matches. It's a crying shame that WWE can do this and get away with it.
  14. I just found it awkward that people skip the "Jim" in his name sometimes when he's always been marketed as "Hacksaw Jim Duggan".
  15. I've never understood why people call him "Hacksaw Duggan".
  16. I think it's hilarious that Santino was IC Champ for all those months and was a total joke with no personality, but right when he lost the belt, the switch flipped that allowed him to reach a comedic heel level that hasn't been seen since Kurt Angle in 2000.
  17. You may have just squeaked in. They started taping Nitro and Thunder on the same day in August 2000, so that's likely when they house shows stopped too.
  18. I seriously doubt that if Austin turned down a potential financial blockbuster like Austin vs. Hogan at WM22, he'll never work another match. In a perfect world, we'd get one last Austin vs. Hart match, but we don't live in a perfect world.
  19. I thought the same thing. Coming back to WWE full time probably didn't help him in preserving what he had left. For the last few months of WCW, they only had one day of TV since Nitro and Thunder were taped on the same day and then a PPV once a month with absolutely no house shows. Pretty easy schedule.
  20. And let's not forget that the studio picture was taken in November 2001. The mugshot was December 2005.
  21. There's a big difference between a professional studio picture and a police mugshot.
  22. He's not a wrestler, but about 3 years ago I saw Scott Hudson and his wife in a local Krystal when I went in to get some food one random Saturday afternoon. I said hi to him, but that was it. I also ran into Glacier in the local Mall about 6 years ago, a few months after Vince bought WCW. He was a fucking awesome guy to talk to. We chatted for about an hour about a bunch of wrestling stuff.
  23. Did you even read anything we said?
  24. Back when Austin was doing co-GM gimmick, him and Batista were verbally going at each other all night on Raw. I think it was the week after Batista came back from his injury and "collected" HHH's bounty on Goldberg. At the end of the show, Batista got in the ring and told Austin to "get your Goddamn ass out here". Austin came out, and they got into a brawl to end a Raw leading up to Survivor Series 2003. Mark Henry and Goldberg also got involved in the brawl. That's it though. By the next week, it was all forgotten.
  25. TNA was briefly mentioned on WWE.Com before the higher-ups saw it and removed the mention. In the latest "Superstar 2 Superstar" interview, Stone Cold Steve Austin interviews former WCW World Champion David Arquette. At one point in the intervview, Austin asked this question: Once WWE higher-ups saw it, it was changed to this: Pretty hilarious.
