  1. I think this explains why we're currently in two wars now...Bush watched a copy of "Casablanca."
  2. Yes, because all religious people are raving lunatics. Did I say all religious people, or did I say all religious people who think their country should be run strictly according to their churches' ideas? Reading- it's tough, I know. Although, all the people that do believe in a divine invisible hate-filled man up in the clouds are pretty weird. Who said anything about "hate filled?" Maybe some picture their god like that, but that one guy in the Bible didn't seem too hate filled.
  3. Yes, because all religious people are raving lunatics.
  4. http://wrestlecrap.com/gimmicktable.html These are pretty funny. I especially liked the "Punishment Unleashed" shirt.
  5. SHARE!! Yes, do tell, please. I don't currently have 24/7.
  6. Hopefully the Daily Show will at least have a field day with this. The question is, will the real news outlets pick up on it?
  7. Czech, trying to derail yet another thread.
  8. Apparently Ferraro is resigning from her campaign post, after the controversy regarding her remarks on Obama. What is this, like the dozenth high profile resignation from Clinton's campaign now?
  9. Maybe it's just the editing, but does it seem weird that Bockwinkle hasn't appeared at all on any of these shows yet? Everyone keeps mentioning him, but not even so much as a short promo of him with the belt or anything, unless I've missed something.
  10. I can't say I more than vaguely remember the attack on Lita that people are talking about here. Anyone have a clip of it?
  11. I remember Jindrak and his partner (Lance Cade?) being rumored to join Orton along with Maven in a new group. It seems like WWE dropped the ball with all those young guys they were intending to push at the time.
  12. I can't tell if this was sarcasm or not.
  13. Well, the difference is that it seems like Orton has learned from his mistakes, and maybe even matured a bit (What, you mean 22 year old guys in sports make mistakes? *gasp*). Obviously, WWE has confidence in him, as he is carrying their biggest strap into Wrestlemania.
  14. I heard on a local conservative talk radio show this morning an argument about whether Obama is really African-American (which the media calls him) or multi-racial, and if its a positive or negative. It was a pretty pointless discussion.
  15. Between Czech's curious and questionable pro-Hillary sentiments, and Marvin's ramblings, this thread has turned into a pretty big clusterfuck.
  16. I do remember the Benoit/Suzuki rumors. I just can't see any way Jindrak would have possibly been positioned to be a title contender. If it was rumored ever, it must have been extremely preliminary.
  17. Obama is going to win, learn to love it, because it's the only thing going. Even if Hillary manages to win Pennsylvania in a landslide, six weeks from now, is that even going to make a difference? I'm too tired and moderately intoxicated to figure that out right now.
  18. I can't see how that could have possibly even been rumored. I don't remember Jindrak at any time being positioned as anything more than a low-to-mid carder in his WWE run.
  19. Oh. Maybe the Rock Song? Bingo. You know, Winger. I guess I should have made it more obvious. She's only seventeen (seventeen) The girl she gives me love like I've never seen She's only seventeen (seventeen) Daddy says she's too young But she's old enough for me Seventeen!!
  20. "Seventeen..."
  21. Well, this certainly generated a lot of interest on this board.
  22. Right, it's like "What? HBK beat him with the superkick after 2 minutes when he couldn't beat him for 60 minutes using it?" It just didn't make much sense to me. If they had had them each get a fall, and then have the match restart, it could have still given Bret the out of "I got screwed by Monsoon", but made the ending more believable.
  23. Just asked a friend whose brother is in Iraq if he wants to stay 'til the mission is finished, or come home, and he said "He wants out of there, bad." Take that, Sean Hannity.
  24. I think I've only seen the Rock/HHH Iron Man match one time, but I think it held my attention more than the Shawn/Bret one, so I would have to give the later one the nod. HBK vs Bret Hart would have been so much better if they had given each man a fall during the match, instead of just having it go the full hour without either man getting a pin or submission, which just didn't seem realistic.
