I wish them luck with that, because I will be shocked if they get through those two years unscathed. The community service is literally nothing... Charles Barkley is right, rich people don't go to jail.

Nicolas Cage was a complete disaster for Ghost Rider, I shift my blame towards him and / or the studio for the bullshit kiddy crap we got with that movie that was made into a total letdown to GR fans. At least, the director seemed to be a real big comic book fan so if he had a real say or pull in the matter, we would've had a TRUE adaption of Ghost Rider. I thought Ben Affleck did just fine in DareDevil, but there's too many Affleck / DD haters out there for whatever reason. After seeing the Director's Cut, DD absolutely became one of my top favorite Marvel films. I am not an Affleck hater per se, but I am firmly convinced that the man can't act unless Kevin Smith is involved somehow. Hell, Matt Damon would have been a better Daredevil. And getting Jennifer Garner was downright stupid. I have nothing against her either, but considering that Elektra was Greek and obviously so in the comics, they needed to get someone who at least *looked* the part. That was the studio trying to bank off of Garner's popularity from Alias and nothing more. The "director's cut", huh? I'll put that on my Netflix queue and see if it raises my opinion of the movie at all.

That's pretty much what a lot of people are expecting.

Do you enjoy seeing a Woman get beat up, if shes an annoying heel?

Hot. No, that's fun, but she has to have her clothes off. I just watched that Youtube, and I laughed. Why? For the love of God, WHY???? #1: Because its a motherfucking work. #2: Because its so fucking over the top and excessive, I literally have no choice but to laugh. The Pedigree was more than enough, and yes, Lita took that move like a champ. Everything that was done in that beatdown was totally unnecessary. The only good thing was that Austin showed how to sell such heelery without actually hurting Lita. You guys want to talk about violence against females, look to the next fucking episode of Cops, where some REAL fucking violence is done and THEN you can be disgusted. I am about as far from misogynistic as one can be without having my balls in someone's purse, but come on. This is a fucking work. Can they take it too far in order to make a point or to generate heat or shock value? Hell yes. But for the love of God, shake yourselves. If it was Anderson Silva destroying Gina Carano in the octagon, I would totally understand, but this is a fucking fake sport and always has been, long before any of us were born. Get over it. -
The best was in the Gong Show Movie where Gene comes out and Jaye P. Morgan flashes her tits. Gene was the fucking MAN.

Amen to that... I honestly believe that the Pistons would get swept by them.

My thought is that Vasquez is going to be a bust. He is not going to adjust very quickly to the NBA game and is going to ride the pine for at least one full season while he TRIES to acclimate himself. T-Mac busted out of Orlando because he was sick of the fans and press dogging him for shooting too much (when he was by far their best player), and then getting dogged for not shooting enough when he tried getting his teammates involved. Same thing Kobe went through two years ago and further out. Personally, T-Mac went down a couple of steps by forcing his way out, but he has rebounded nicely with the Rockets. And speaking of that, I think we all called it early in the season. The Rockets aren;t going to make the playoffs without either T-Mac or Yao. If one of them goes down, that's pretty much it, this nine-game streak they're on notwithstanding.

The game between the Pistons and the Nuggets was fucking awesome. Nip and tuck all the way down to the end. Awesome game.

And from what I understand, people in Detroit back then went berserk because Geiger spiked the trade. They still get bitter beer face when Geiger's name is even brought up. Rip: I think its going to be Odom at the 3, Gasol at the 4, and Bynum at the 5. Bynum had already proved he has the ability to play center with a bit of an edge, a little nastiness. Hes a good defender in the post and can rebound, which is what was needed. Its still a little shocking to see Bynum bust out the way he did when everyone was screaming for the kid to get traded for, well, Kidd. I think Odom is the key, if he can defend other teams' small forwards consistently, and be able to deal with being the third option at best on offense. There is no way Gasol comes off the bench, not after that one game where he and Kobe both scored I think 30 points. To coin a phrase from a favorite local sports radio jock, Kobe has to be smiling like the butcher's dog right about now.

Maybe this a future kind of move, but I doubt that they are worrying about the cap as much as they are trying to keep up with the Lakers. I do think that they have to take into account that Steve Nash is getting older, and while I like Amare as a player, he should be three times the defender he is now, and he is not... Grant Hill is going to play maybe two more years, three tops. I think that this is step one in Steve Kerr trying to make the Suns more of a half-court team. Money under the cap doesn;t mean shit if you don;t have a good team to draw free agents. And I agree totally, Bynum's development is more important than the Gasol trade, but that trade made them a big time threat for the Weatern Conference title. Once Bynum rounds into shape and they learn to play together, look the fuck out.

I agree that the Mavs should do something, but I don't think that this is it. That's pretty much stripping the cupboard bare for a player who couldn't make it work when he was there before. Granted, it was a much different team with a much different mentality and Kidd was a much less experienced player, but unless Cuban plans on blowing the team up and starting over with say Dirk, Kidd, Howard and maybe one or two others, this trade will not help them at all. Just like with Phoenix, this is a knee-jerk reaction to the Gasol trade. Though I was listening to Jim Rome last night on podcast and he said that the Korver trade is what really got things going in the West, and I agree with him.

If not, try and come to a compromise on paying out the rest of your lease, because that is the only way you will get out of it with six months to go. Otherwise, you're pretty much stuck unless you find a replacement, or subletting.

That Detroit-Atlanta game was pretty good... ::waits for Rip to fire up another tirade::

That's due to him being a phenominal wrestler and a terrific heel.

Shit Milky, it took you this long to jump on that? And I was with my ex-fiancee for several years, and when she was on her meds she is one of the best human beings I have ever known, but when she wasn't, whooooooooaaaaa nelly!

Considering how godawful that premise sounds, it would have to be.

I think that aside from being kicked square in the nuts, that has to be the worst pain ever.

I would have thought it would have deserved its own thread at least, and I haven't gone into the WWE folder in almost a year and don't intend to.

Focus has been Sheed's problem ever since college. He gets bored unless he is up against a Tim Duncan or the like, then you see his A game. The major complaint is that he doesn't post up enough, but when you think about it he never has. He has great skill in every area and he can do anything on the court that he sets his mind to. He doesn;t go for blocks as much as he should because of the image he made for himself getting techs. If he gets a block and a foul is called, six or seven times out of ten he goes ballistic and he gets teed up. Its almost like clockwork. I will say that he has done a better job of controlling himself, because back in the Blazer days it was eight or nine time out of ten. And yes, the Pistons are notorious for losing focus during the regular season, but I think that can be said for every team since the 1996 Bulls. 82 games is a long, long season and a team simply cannot be at the height of their focus and drive. If they try that, you know what happens? They lose in the first or second round of the playoffs because at some point they are going to burn out.

I just love all the wrestling marks on Youtube all pissed off because he lost. Hilarious. Wrestling Frank Mir was the biggest mistake he could make, because Mir is most dangerous off of his back. We all know it, and as soon Mir went for the kneebar, Brock was done. I knew if Mir could get into a position where his Jiujitsu and his experience could give him a chance to win, that's what was going to happen. All that being said once he gets to learn some submission defense and increases his knowledge of BJJ, his power alone becomes that much more dangerous, because you know that any fighter with any decent submission skills is going to look to get the fight to the ground, because there are maybe what, five or six fighters that can even dream of going toe to toe with him in a standup? I still think that letting him smash a couple of lower-tier fighters and building him up would have been better in the long run, if only to give him more time to absorb BJJ. He has the speed, strength, and wrestling already.

What a wonderful train wreck this board can be sometimes....

As much as I hate his schtick, he's exactly right. Michael Jordan destroyed this young man, even though Kwame was one of those players that would have definitely benefitted in every way going to college for at least two years. Jordan destroyed his confidence (what little he had) in Washington, and we have been witnessing the end result of that for a couple of years. The kid has talent, but I think its obvious that his self-confidence has been crushed.

That does not shock me that she is into that, if thats true. Its by far the lamest thing I have ever seen on the net, guys dropping loads onto facial pics and either taking pics of the act or shooting vids of it.. If you're truly insulted and hurt by someone on the net calling you stupid or whatever, you should unplug your computer and never touch it again. The anonymity of the Internet makes the most mousy, craven personality look bold and brash. I remember Marney calling me out on here a few years back, and all I could do was laugh at her.
