  1. Those are the exact two things I remember about the show also. Well, that, and Diz's annoying high pitched squeal. "From around the world...its probably true!"
  2. I hated to start another Iraq thread, but I wanted to get a feel for where people around here stood on this issue, since its not the simple choice of "I support the war" or "I oppose the war" the media makes it out to be.
  3. How could anyone possibly know that?
  4. Feingold just needs to wear a t-shirt that says "EVERYTHING ABOUT THE WAR ON TERROR IS WRONG!!!!!!!!" and he'd never have to give another speech again. He will alienate half of his own party and give the other party a 22% margin of victory?
  5. Unfortunately, it wouldn't crush him. It would materialize around him...yeah, I'm a Doctor Who mark. So long as the death is instantaneous...
  6. I'd approve of a Sci-Fi Channel angle if it included Doctor Who's TARDIS landing on top of Randy Orton.
  7. Lita's transformation into Peggy Bundy is nearly complete.
  8. Thanks, Taz.
  9. "Wild Card" was the fucking shit. "Will Green Lantern ever admit to his feelings? Will Hawkgirl ever stop sublimating her passions with that big honkin' mace? Will true love conquer all? Not on my show!" "The suspense is killling me - of course, it's going to be the explosions that kill them." Volume 3 of Superman: TAS includes the DCAU debuts of Supergirl, Aquaman, Kyle Rayner, the Legion of the Super-Heroes, as well as most of the better Darkseid episodes, and a couple of Batman team-ups.
  10. Yeah, but that pop consisted of a crowd of 6-10 year olds I said "Smackdown fans" didn't I?
  11. The Smackdown fans miss Cena, apparently.
  12. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinity_%28wrestler%29 Oh, I know who that is (heh, look at the discussion earlier) Was talking about the chick with the tarot cards at the very beginning. Sorry....logged on late.
  13. Even as a Randy Savage mark, I admit to finding this joke amusing.
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinity_%28wrestler%29
  15. During "sweeps" months, they mail logs to people to fill out. http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...nielsen+family#
  16. If every woman I pissed off actually wanted to sleep with me, I'd end up in divorce court. There's no way I'd be able to turn down that much pussy.
  17. I tried it and realized it was a lost cause. How that hurts whatever "credibility" I might have, I wouldn't know. I don't exactly think you're aware of my record of not agreeing with people in the current CE folder. I'd rather have discussions with people who aren't going to turn EVERYTHING into a multi-page flame war. I don't have that much time to waste on an internet message board. I have a life. Given my long and infamous history of trading insults with MikeSC, do you honestly think I left just because he was "being mean"? Please reread my final post there, and I hope it clears up some of your confusion. http://www.shootproject.com/thepit/index.p...indpost&p=51281
  18. 308 And some of the shows are on Universal HD in HD like Knight Rider and Equalizer. Which blew my mind the first time I saw it. I'm assuming they cropped the top and bottom of the image, but the quality is very good. They must've used to original film to make them and not video copies. Does anyone know if the Knight Rider DVDs widescreen as well? Its not unheard of for old shows to be retrofitted for widescreen. For example, my copy of "V: the Mini-Series" is even in anamorphic widescreen.
  19. Season 2 of "Justice League" is out today, and costs anywhere between $32 and $36, depending where you go. 26 episodes in non-anamorphic widescreen, 3 commentaries, and one 10-minute behind the scenes feature. The crew pretty much admits they didn't think much of the show's very first season, either. As slow as these things are coming out, I doubt we'll be getting the 3 seasons of JLU anytime soon. The final volume of Superman: the Animated Series also came out today, but I haven't picked it up yet.
  20. Holy Tyler sighting! Glad we agree.
  21. I get it on DirecTV. I'm unsure how the A-Team qualifies as a mystery show. The only mystery is how they keep getting B.A. Baracus into the airplane with that damn fool Murdoch.
  22. Here's somethng I was thinking about the other day... Think about how many shitty, joke candidates there were in every campaign for the last 20 years. I'm talking about fuckers like Morey Taylor, Alan Keyes, Steve Forbes, Bob Dornan, and Pat Buchanan. Guys who stood no chance in hell of being nominated, but drew attention away from serious, well-qualified candidates (i.e. Richard Lugar, Phil Gramm, Lamar Alexander, etc) none of whom got very far in the primaries because people who could've been supporting them were too busy supporting the other jackasses. To make things worse, Dole used his considerable leverage to keep other candidates from even entering the race. Still, there was probably enough opposition to keep Dole from getting the 1996 nomination, but the anti-Dole people couldn't unify behind a guy who actually stood a chance of winning. The 1996 Republican campaign is a prime example of how NOT to nominate a candidate. I really hope all the one-issue, publicity-stunt candidates can be kept out of the election cycle this time.
