  1. I completely agree. Angle was totally seen as a legit threat leading into Wrestlemania 20. What'd they then do the next month? Take him off the road and give him a shitty GM character.
  2. How many episodes are on each set?
  3. More random ROTS thoughts, or: "Things I Learned Upon my 3rd Screening of Revenge of the Sith" -There's GOTS to be another scene in between Yoda getting up from his fall and his crawling through the Senate tunnels. -Like Anakin, I also choke my wife from time to time, except I use my cock. -I dunno why Owen and Beru didn't have any kids of their own. If I was Owen, I'd tap that instead of going to Toshi Station any day. -Mace Windu's lightsaber was purple because making it big and black would've been just too obvious. -The guy two rows back thought it was important enough to inform everyone that not only should you not "fuck with Yoda", but that Yoda was also "A muthafuckin' pimp". I thought I'd pass that along. -Green clonetroopers *really* look like Halo characters. -Yoda slamming the two guards into the wall = still funny. -Good lord, Capt. Antilles was so queer. Between him and C-3P0, the Tantive IV is now a gay cruise.
  4. Well, he DID job last week, after all.
  5. If Vince doesn't come out, Benoit/Tajiri doesn't happen. Heyman shouldnt have come out. Cutting a solid promo to promote a PPV is more important than adding 5-10 minutes to match that's just supposed to be a preview for the same PPV.
  6. "Don't make me angry...you wouldn't like me when I'm angry..."
  7. Somehow "ECW One Night Stand starring the Superstars of RAW" just doesn't have the same feel to it.
  8. Did Heyman, Bischoff, and McMahon get in a ring together in late 2003, around the time Paul became Smackdown GM?
  9. Oh, how soon we forget the Shane feud...
  10. I'm calling it: tonight's main event will have a clean finish with no run-ins. edit: Just kidding.
  11. No, because the fans won't stop booing her due to her real-life actions. I meant storyline-wise. I think storylines kinda went out the window on this one.

  13. There's a huge discrepency between how society regards white collar and lower income criminals. Why do you think that is?
  14. There are plenty of things which our society considers immoral for no reason other than tradition.
  15. I just noticed the triple meaning of the thread subtitle.
  16. The school where I work had its graduation ceremony yesterday. At Kemper Arena. I was a little creeped out when I realized I had to walk through almost the exact spot where Owen landed.
  17. You need to ask yourself how common beleifs come about, and if morality should be dependent on what most people think.
  18. I hope that "I wonder why" was sarcasm. I think the filmmakers intentionally left so many unanswered questions about Neo just to fuck with us.
  19. Some of us wnat her to go back to being hot so we can enjoy looking at her again.
  20. Sadly, I think most people are too busy bitching that the acting was 2nd rate or about Vader's "Noo!!!" to notice how strong the plotting for both Eps. 2 and 3 was. What about the sublimial political BS that Lucas was promoting in Eps 2 and 3....that was anti-Bush? Considering they were written BEFORE Bush took office? (Ep. 2 was filmed in the summer of 2000, and the plot for Ep 3 was constructed at leat at that time, since Lucas knew where he was heading with the story well ahead of filming Ep. 2) Not likely.
  21. All I can say is...KEEP HER AWAY FROM SNITSKY!
  22. Sadly, I think most people are too busy bitching that the acting was 2nd rate or about Vader's "Noo!!!" to notice how strong the plotting for both Eps. 2 and 3 was.
  23. The word "balance" implies two equal sides, doesn't it? Maybe the prophecy meant the Sith would come to equal the Jedi with Anakin's help. That'll drop in time. Nothing against the movie, but more people need to see it besides fans before it can give a fair assessment. I remember "American Beauty" being in the top 20 a few weeks after it opened, only to drop as more people saw it.
  24. I'll put it another way... Why should I pay $16+ for my wife and myself to see a movie in a crowded room full of strangers and have half of them talk through it while listening to babies cry? I've become quite fond of drive-ins and dollar shows in the last few years. Even if the movie sucks, you don't feel as ripped-off because at least it was cheap.
