  2. CREDIT: DeathValleyDriver.com post skeptic555 Posted: Jan 16 2005, 07:06 AM Report PostQuote Post Cherry Popped Posts: 2 Joined: 16-January 05 At the IWA-MS show tonight in Highland, IN, New Jack announced that he has, in fact, signed with WWE. He also announced something along the lines of expecting it to last all of about 2 weeks once they realize what they've gotten themselves into. That may be a little on the high side. New Jack appeared to be - how can I be delicate about this? - still ringing in the new year. So, who knows if its true. But he did explicitly make the claim. As I left at the start of his "match" (poking people with sticks is not my cup of tea), I cannot report on if he in fact murdered anyone tonight. Also, to pick up on another thread, Tracy Smothers made his triumphant return under the hood as "XIII" (who, apparently was a robotic conquistador of some kind), answering the open challenge of "Sweet and Sour" Larry Sweeney. Larry is the bastard child of Buddy Roberts, Adrian Adonis, and Larry Zybysco. And a damn riot as well. Good show overall.
  3. Sabu vs. Owen Hart twice in WWF. Sabu vs. Scotty 2 Hotty in WWF. Sabu vs. Kama (Godfather) in NWC Las Vegas Hardyz vs. RVD & Sabu - 2/11/98 All Star Wrestling in North Carolina Great Sasuke vs. Tiger Mask in ECW RVD vs. Mustafa Saed of the Gangstas in WCW Undertaker (Punisher) vs. Stone Cold in USWA
  4. You were born on two different days?
  5. I don't mean to sound like an asshole, but considering I've seen the tape several times, I think I have the right to say that you are wrong in this particular instance. Everthing points against him on that tape. Well, buy a bootleg then. Someone on DVDR is selling it. Anyone with half a brain could see from that tape that New Jack was WAY out of line.
  6. It would stiffen MY pants, considering they'd do a subpar revival of the Tajiri feud that could never do their series of matches justice.
  7. Exclusive notes on New Jack backstage at WWE, how he came across to the wrestlers and management, and what he did in the ring. From PWI Elite hype-machine. Anyone a member who can shed light on what they report? I'm interested in hearing how he acted...
  8. The charges were thrown out and the whole case was bullshit Have you seen RF Video's Undercover with New Jack, where he talks about the incident? Have you seen the actual FOOTAGE of the incident? I have, and Jack had no right to do what he did. He admits to going absolutely crazy on this guy and stabbing him silly, and the only defense he gives is some bullshit like "the police had this looking like I attacked this guy in a parking lot. What happens in the ring stays in the ring." Jack was damn sure in the wrong with ttat. And Michael Jordan, the stabbing that deep WAS out of script. There was never a set finish; they were going to brawl around the gym and have a blowoff match the next month. The stabbing the guy in the neck, back, arm, leg, etc. was all done on the spur of the moment, none pre-planned.
  9. New Jack and Val Venis working together in the same ring...God, just the thought of Jack in WWE...I still can't comprehend it...it'd be like Sabu jumping off of the RAW Titan Tron...oh wait, that kinda happened already...Good to see Jack's at least getting looked at. I don't like him as a person, but as a performer he's very entertaining.
  10. They also did a singles match together where they did strictly mat wrestling. New Jack's said so in interviews.
  11. Maintenance Man, here's just one promo Jack did on the Dudleyz (from CZW in early 2004), uploaded by myself: http://s12.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0WGXTLV...AW1J7ETBHVPYNVS In a nutshell, Jack claims that Buh Buh and D-Von stole his gimmick, bringing up how immediately upon going to WWE, they started using camoflauge, and that their entrance music began with a bomb drop, just as his theme, "Natural Born Killaz" by Ice Cube, begins. He says that they're punks in the ring and that they couldn't fight for their lives in a real fight. Good interviews where he talks about them are on Getinthering.tv and TrashTalkingRadio.com.
  12. - That he hopes D-Von's son and D-Von get ass-raped to death - that he wouldn't piss on the Dudleyz if they were burning to death - that he fucked D-Von's wife many times and that every time D-Von has sex with his wife, he's doing the equivalent of "tasting my nuts" - and more
  13. Didn't he have a 'real' match with Tommy Dreamer once in ECW. Dreamer took the mic and said something like 'we're not going to do that tonight Jack'. Off the top of my head that's the only thing I know of. Ya, I remember reading about that match. If someone can hook me up with it, I may be interested in buying it. New Jack also did a wrestling match with Dynamite D in XPW for about 7 minutes (lots of armbars, armdrags, headlocks, wristlocks, hammerlocks, etc.) before going hardcore.
  14. Holy shit.
  15. Does he post here?
  16. Those are my thoughts, too. He looks really...you know...in that pic, more so than I've ever seen him before (besides as the *F*un *A*thletic *G*uy manager in JAPW and other indies).
  17. CREDIT: DOIWrestling.com NWA TNA News Update for 1/9 NWA TNA officials were at the CSWF show this past Saturday night. Among the TNA officials was Jeremy Borash. Borash took time out and talked to alot of the fans, vendors and wrestlers at the show. From the people I talked to, who talked to Borash, everyone thought Borash represented TNA well and came off as a nice guy. Some people thought Borash might've been "baby-facing" some people, but in reality, what was he supposed to act like? I thought personally that Borash came off very professional and defended, as well as represented, his company nicely. Borash told the DOI that alot of the rumors about NWA TNA were simply just rumors and not facts. Borash told the DOI that the rumor about TNA losing 16 Million Dollars in a year was completely false. When the DOI asked Borash why he thought the Northeast fans always booed/heckled TNA wrestlers, he didn't know, but did say that TNA were going to find out why and try to make the product more appealing to the fans. Personally, I'm sure the TNA/ROH dealings didn't help, but it looks like TNA is somewhat lifting that ROH policy, as AJ Styles is slated to return to ROH in February. Borash seemed to have a good time at the show, and the DOI is in the works to set up an interview with Borash soon. Abyss was at the show, and was seen talking to Jeff Jarrett at length. As of now, no one knows what was said, but there was no signs of hostility between the two in front of the locker room or the fans. From the people I talked to, who were in the locker room during the show, Jeff Jarrett and Abyss both came off as true professionals, and alot of people called Abyss's match with Mana, the match of the night. (And I agree with that statement). For more on NWA TNA, visit www.tnawrestling.com For more on CSWF, visit www.cswfol.com
  18. CREDIT: DOIWrestling.com After the recent CSWF event, that took place in Wayne, NJ, this past Saturday night, former ROH Owner and current RF Video Owner, Rob Feinstein, met up with the NWA Heavyweight Champion and NWA Management member, Jeff Jarrett. Both sides discussed the past, present and future, and seemed to get along like they were friends for a long time. There were rumors that there may be heat between the sides as each men entered the building, but after the show, both sides shook hands and exchanged pleasantries. It is not known if their meeting was anything that would translate into potential business for either side in the future, but it was good to see both sides, who were rumored to have heat, get along and have fun. Look for a full CSWF McReview coming soon to the DOI. Interstingly, Abyss was also on this show, along with Jarrett AND Jeremy Borash. Interesting that they all were willing to appear on the same event.
  19. Just a quick note - I've ordered 11 tapes from TD and have had great service, in terms of receiving the tapes quickly, great prices, and good tape quality. So, if you're thinking of buying from him, he's done total good with me.
  20. XPW Baptized In Blood 1-3. CZW TOD 1-3 MAW Hardcore Cup events.
  21. You don't have the picture...
  22. I should print out an old pic I have of a cleancut Jimmy with short hair, glue it to a cookie sheet, and send 'er out to Cali. That'd be funny for him to pick up out of the cart.
  23. TWO FIRST ROUND DEATHMATCH TOURNAMENT STIPULATIONS ANNOUNCED! ROBBIE PHOENIX VS. CARNAGE - 10,000 THUMBTACKS DEATHMATCH! A bed of thumbtacks in the center of the ring is only the beginning. Add a bag containing thousands more, a baseball bat dipped in pine tar so thumbtacks stick to it, and any other thumbtack associated weapon these to can find or create, and fans will never look at a thumbtack the same again! HOMELESS JIMMY VS. R.C.G. LEROY IN A SHOPPING CART OF DEATH MATCH! What exactly is a Shopping Cart Of Death match? Fans can bring weapons to the arena, place them in Jimmy's shopping cart outside of the building, and watch him wheel them down to ringside and use them in the match. Apparently RCG has been working on a few homemade weapons of deathstruction as well! The last time fans were encouraged to bring weapons for wrestlers to use, at XPW's Night of Champions, some of the sickest and most demented weapons ever seen in a pro wrestling match were used in the ring! Will the fans outdo themselves this time? Later this week we will announce the stipulations for LONESTAR VS. BUDDY GEORGE and ANGEL VS. IAN ROTTEN. In other SCCW News, J.R. Benson will be replacing Scott Snott on commentary and the most sadistic manager in pro wrestling history is apparently scouting for "new blood" to take under his wing and believes he will find it in the deathmatch tournament. Plus, 10 matches from the top So Cal wrestling feds including the just announced LUCHAMANIA match of TJ Boy vs. Kid-Spyder. If you haven't had a chance to get to San Diego and catch these two in action, this is your chance. For tickets or more info log on to SoCalCW.com
  24. Also I can review: anything from ROH Expect the Unexpected or MLW Wargames or ECW Living Dangerously 2000 or TNA Super X Cup 1 (the show with Teddy Hart's TNA debut), Vinny Massaro vs. Frankie Kazarian (California indy show), WCW Superbrawl Revenge Multi-person Cruiserweight Match, Chris Candido vs. Justice Pain (XPW), MMW vs. Hamrick & Smothers - Best 2/3 Falls (XPW), Shark Boy & Angel vs. Scorpio Sky & Quicksilver (XPW), Chris Chetti vs. Julio Dinero (XPW), Shane Douglas vs. Johnny Webb (Douglas makes his return to XPW for first time in two years; review would include Douglas' surprise entrance and extensive post-match shoot promo where he announces XPW is going to Philly - this footage was not included on the DVD and can only be found on the XPW TV version of this match, which is what I have), Supreme vs. Angel (XPW Exploding Ring Scaffold Match), Steve Rizzono vs. Crimson vs. Pogo the Clown (XPW; would include dropped in insights that Steve Rizzono gave me about that match, such as how he broke his jaw and some other stuff), Vic Grimes vs. Supreme (XPW Exploding Ring Match), or HC Loc vs. Delirious vs. Colt Cabana (IWA-MS). I promise to give a very lengthy and insightful review on the Mass Transit incident somewhere down the line, and in the more near future, a review of the New Jack Florida match (well, two minute slugfest) with the stabbing incident that recently got him arrested.
  25. I'll try to review all three of those within the next month. I do have Ki vs. Super Dragon from MPW in 2001.
