Who says Candido hasn't faced the same tribulations (drug-related) that she has? OK, I saw Tammy about 13 months ago in XPW and she looked halfway decent, she really did. She looks A LOT different now than she did then. To have changed this much in this little time really is sad. She's not the Sunny she once was.

Yup. They just had a big show a few weekends back that featured a tag team tournament in which AMIL, The DRS, The SAT, Boogalu, and other guys competed. Said to be very good. I'm pretty sure this is either the first or one of the first times they're teaming together. They definitely haven't been tagging together for more than a month, maybe two at the most.

Boogalou? I thought he was shunned by most of these guys for heading to XPW while a part of the Natural Born Sinners in ROH with Homicide. Also, funny how we haven't heard as much from him or Mack on the indies while their respective partners have been involved in some of ROH's more high profile storylines. Boogalu has been a regular in WXW and Connecticut Championship Wrestling over the past year. He's had some very good matches wtih guys like Mean Gene Snisky (sp?), All Money Is Legal, Low Ryda, The SAT, and others. BTW, AJ Styles vs. John Walters has been added to the above ICW card. I plan on attending that show, too.

Tell that to the playaz on the DeclarationOfIndependents.net forums and even the USA Pro board. hehe. Goodman is a controversial dude.

I'm gonna try to go. That's a fantastic card.

AWS in Cali features Super Dragon, Samoa Joe,

You seem to be in the minority. The show got great reviews on SCU. -
It's a simple Emerald Frosion. A Sitdown Over-the-Shoulder Powerslam to the side. Tommy Dreamer used it often in ECW.

Ya, it does indeed sound like a great show. Here are pics of the show: http://www.shanesphotos.com/wrestling/gallery/AWS/index.htm Also, how well did Kaos work? Did he look alright, or was he sloppy? -
Which wrestler entrance would you like to do ?
LucharesuFan619 replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Whoz Dat Jumpin Out Da Da Sky?!?! R-E-Y! As the guy above said, I'd love to do Rey Jr.'s entrance. Entering the ring and commanding a pyro to go off like Kane would be cool, too. Same with riding Undertaker's motorcycle to the ring as Kid Rock plays in the background. -
Messiah: strenghts - very quick learner, natural athlete (did track in high school), great bumper, relatively quick, name value (has been seen on XPW tapes throughout the US and had a feature on America's Most Wanted), experience is on his side (debuted in November 1996 and has since worked with guys like Sabu, Chris Candido, Vampiro, and others); weaknesses - very bland look, tends to lack transitioning skills in connecting moves, very awkward looking strikes (i.e. forearms/chops/elbows), not much natural charisma Chris Cash: strengths - has especially proved as of late that he's a great bumper, tag team experience as a member of The New School with GQ, some natural charisma; weaknesses - little experience, his size will keep him from stepping through to the next level, tends to to work a Japanese style that he's not really accustomed to (as compared to for instance someone like Trent Acid), lack of experience Matt Sydal: strengths - fantastic lightweight, good seller, very quick; weaknesses - lack of experience Ryan Boz (haven't seen much of him, but here's what I know): strengths - physical strength, size, tag team experience with Brad Bradley; weaknesses - unsure Nick Gage: strengths - very over in CZW as a member of The H8 Club, relatively quick for his size, works a Japanese style that he's relatively accustomed to (as opposed to i.e. Cash); weaknesses - has been known to be overly stiff with some opponents, needs to work on his selling, not much natural charisma (although Dewey Donovan serves as a brilliant manager), lack of experience

Who looks like EVAN KARAGIAS...sorta.

Sorry to bump this, but the topic title caught my eye because I've always enjoyed Reckless Youth's matches. Anyway, he still wrestles every single month on the east coast. I believe he's working none other than CHRIS F'N HERO on a FREE show in New Jersey for UWC sometime in the next week. He was also scheduled to go to England and wrestle Matt Striker and Shark Boy in a three-way dance, but the promotion that was holding that event went under before they even held a show. But you can still catch Tom on misc. indy cards on the east coast, pretty much every single month. Search for his name on WrestlingObserver.com and you'll find plenty of stuff. In his ROH match at Do Or Die, one of the commentators said he dumped the Reckless Youth name because he wasn't really a youth anymore. He was getting to be a veteran, so apparently he wanted to change his name. EDIT: Reckless Youth cancelled his appearance last night for UWC vs. Chris Hero. Not sure why, but Jay Lethal replaced him. But you can still catch Tom on many shows in the New England area.

The odds that WWE doesn't have this on tape are seriously slim because - as Kurt Angle said in his book - they even go so far as to tape EVERYTHING that goes on backstage in case they want to make a documentary of sorts. Angle said that they got the stuff of him backstage after the incident at SummerSlam 2000 where he got knocked out via the Pedigree through the table. So, if they get everything that happens backstage on tape, then I imagine the same goes for everything in the arena area, too. I have the PPV tape in my hands right now. I'm pretty sure nothing at all is shown of what's happening in the ring. Could you please do that. That sounds interesting. Could you try to find the book and get that quote? Also, isn't it just a bit wierd that the PPV was called "Over the Edge?" I mean, Owen - in a way - did go over the edge, and if it's true that he didn't want to do the stunt in the first place, then WWE went over the edge in forcing him to do something he didn't feel comfortable doing.

Whose gimmick was at one time mocked by former-CZW and PWF indy wrestler MENACE... P.S. DC Maximo - great CZW Divide & Conquer and XPW Fallout review at your site. Keep up the good work.
-
Whose Kamikaze (forward roll fireman's carry slam) move is also used by former-FMW wrestler in Japan RICKY FUJI...
-
Well, he can still move pretty well and he's in what - his late thirties? Hes got quite a bit of charisma and a fantastic look. As far as in the ring - he's not like Goldberg, even though he's his size. He does power moves, but he doesn't hurt guys as much as Goldberg. So I think he's better than a lot of the other guys his size, I guess.

Dude, you just asked this in the other forum and got not one, but two answers. Sheesh.

WOW, she's definitely not Valentina. She's even hotter...hehe I went on the H2 site earlier today looking for her profile and I couldn't find one. I see it now. Should've checked quickly before posting, I guess. But thanks.

We were just talked about this in the What's this move? thread. I had originally asked it. Apparently, it's where Spanky does the Sliced Bread #2 while the victim is on Ki's shoulders (like in a shoulder mount position). Sounds pretty devastating.

Steiner vs. Guerrero is an interesting idea. Personally, I'd feud him with either Kane or Batista, since both guys are lacking a real solid feud. EDIT: Jericho may also be a good opponent, and like someone else mentioned, if done right, vs. Benoit could be fun, too. Steiner - while he's getting up there in age - is still a pretty good worker for his age, IMO. Maybe use him to continue rubbing Randy Orton? I don't know...lots of possibilities...shows you how hard it is to be a booker.

A girl named Jill love is apparently booked for the H2 (Ted Hart and Court Bauer's new fed) debut show, and I also read that she was at one of the CZW shows this weekend. Who is she? Is it J-Love/VJ-Love/Valentina, the former chick from JAPW, XPW, and BTW, just under a new name? Or someone else? I can't find pics of her on the H2 site, so I can't tell who she is.

Considering that Jasmin has tried to ruin people's marriages, spread false rumors about other valets she was jealous of so that they wouldn't be able to get any more jobs, and constantly disrespects her 3PW talent in general, I think she's the unprofessional bitch. Stephane had everything handed to her and Jasmin didn't? At least Stephanie grew up around the business. Jasmin was drinking bodily fluids from other men's bodies while Stephanie was learning the business. Actually, it's Rob Black that got her into wrestling. She would still be screwing for a living if it wasn't for Rob getting her into ECW. Buh Buh had a very minimal role, but hey, she's delusional, so she remember what she wants. Jasmin makes me sick.

Homicide ain't no lightweight, no matter how many Topes he can hit. He has the speed of a lightweight, but he weighs more than Ruckus, whose like the limit for the BOTB tourney. It'll be non-tournament, probably.

The Jackhammer is NOT a bodyslam. It's a VERY high angle Powerslam that can be extremely stiff if done wrong, and let's face it - Goldberg ain't the Excellence of Execution, now is he?
