  1. USA Pro wrestler Matt Da Angry Young Man is going to have a dark match or an Xplosion match (not sure which) before the 3/13 TNA PPV. This will be his first appearance in TNA. I haven't seen him work. From what I hear, he's mostly a comedy wrestler, but who knows. He may be decent. I doubt it, though. He probably sucks. Most USA Pro midcarders suck, anyway. Whatever.
  2. I didn't even know Maven had his own website...
  3. Ya, absolutely. They're frontpage documents, if that's important. I could send em to you or whatever if you're interested in hosting em. PM me.
  4. It's my own lists that I keep. I have move lists for every major promotion across the globe for virtually every major wrestler there is. All on the safety of my own computer. Well, my CZW move list is on CZDub.com and my NWA Wildside one is on http://members.aol.com/piratez4v3go2/nwawsmoves.htm, but besides that all the lists are on my own comp. So if you have any other move questions ask, and I can prolly just cut and paste the list from my comp.
  5. SPANKY: Finishers: - Sliced Bread #2 (Running Stunner [3/4 Bulldog Facelock] into Super [top buckle] Backflip into Falling Inverted DDT ) Other moves: Climbing Enziguri Kick, Corner Headscissors Takeover, Doctor Teeth (Swinging Neckbreaker into Face Crusher [OO calles it a Jawbreaker] onto his knee) (in WWE), Dropkick, Dr. Smoothe's Secret Recipe (Corner Running Tiger Mask-style Backflip Attack), Elbow Smash, Electric Mayhem (Springboard Knee Smash), Enziguri Kick, Huracanrana, Jumping Side Salto Kick (basically a Leaping Heelkick), Left Turn At Albuquerque (Flying Corkscrew [Horizontally-Spinning] Frog Splash), Mo Mo Latch (Cross-Legged Huracanrana-type thingy), ^Slingshot Fishmeran's Rollup^ (used in his Japan matches fairly regularly), Slingshot Moonsault Press, Spinning Sitout Front Suplex (ending w/ Sitout Face Slam), Springboard Dropkick, Springboard Swinging DDT, Topè Con Hilo, Tornado Pedigree off of middle buckle (?), Twisting Mare into Knee Smash, Whirling Twirltizer (Somersault Plancha Suicida)
  6. Ya, the Shellshock and the Fluff are pretty much the same thing. There's really no difference to them. Dace is right, I think.
  7. Here's the official papers... http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/0331042wwe1.html Classic stuff.
  8. The move being described is basically a 90 Degree Corkscrew Pivot Inverted Russian Leg Sweep. Markingout, the Bombay Lock is done within the first like 3 minutes of the match, by Sonjay onto Joker. It's after Sonjay hits a rana on Joker and before Joker starts unloading a bunch of his moves on Sonjay. Thanks again for doing this for me.
  9. Who the hell is "Fifi?"
  10. Thanks. While you're at it, if possible, what's Sonjay's Bombay Lock that he used on the same Fake You! TV episode?
  11. I wish I was the flight attendant who got flashed and Flair was Trish.
  12. Fuck the stratusphere. I wanna blow Trish, period.
  13. I'll be conducting an interview with "The Giggolo" Steve Rizzono later this week. He'll discuss his career, including: - his training and breaking into APW - working with Mike Modest, Spike Dudley, Crash Holly, Vic Grimes, Donovan Morgan, Tony Jones, and others early in their careers - the legendary three-way APW Garage match between himself, Grimes, and Crash - memories of tag teaming with Mike Modest and Tony Jones - breaking into XPW - his thoughts on everyone he encountered in XPW - his matches with Juventud Guerrera - the scoop on The Enterprise - his take on the Supreme/fire incident - why he was never booked for XPW's Philly run - why he recently retired from active competition - and so much more If you have any questions you want asked, PM me or post them here. When I talked to him today, Rizzono (who told me he talked to none other than New Jack earlier today) was looking very forward to doing the interview, and vowed to hold nothing back in our interview. Also: An interview with Leroy will be posted soon, part 4 of my GQ Money interview will be posted soon, and look for more names to contribute in the coming weeks, including some pretty big ones. Learn the shit that so many people never wanted you to know about the most controversial promotion in the history of Southern California, straight from the people who made it what it was.

  15. Because I'm delusional, like Jeff and Jerry Jarrett.
  16. :::marks out like a motherfucker at the thought of this possibility::: PLEASE, PLEASEEEEEEEEE BORASH, MAKE THAT HAPPEN!
  17. Chalk it up to Jarrett being deluded...and his dad, too. You stated my thoughts exactly. Don't know how they're gonna do such a thing.
  18. Both from today's daily update over at WrestlingObserver.com: --TNA has a job opening for a video editor. You need a college degree, and either have to live in the Nashville area or be willing to relocate to Nashville. The job would be to create and edit promotional and commercial spots for PPVs and head the marketing campaign, and also involve planning and shooting of footage. Knowledge of video editing software is a must, including the Final Cut Pro and AVID systems, as well as the ability to work under tight deadlines. You must mail a CD with video editing projectgs in .avi, .mpeg or Windows Media formats. Without sending in a CD, you will not be considered. You must send the application by mail to TNA Entertainment, c/o Craig Blechschmidt, Marketing, Cummings Statoin Suite 302, 209 10th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37203. --TNA will be doing a free on-demand service on the internet with The Best of Sting, starting on 4/1 on the nwatna.com web site
  19. And people say geezers have no lives...
  20. Night 2 of the tour (from last night) in Newport, Wales before 400 fans: Mark Belton b Mark Sloan, Raj Ghosh & Paul Travell b Jack Xavier & Ross Jordan, Steve Corino b Jonny Storm, Aviv Mayaan b Alex Shane, Doug Williams b C.M. Punk in 2/3 falls CREDIT: Meltzer
  21. Stuff like this has happened before. I'm pretty sure there was at least one similar incident in ECW. I remember a fan sued RVD and I believe won because RVD hurt him when he did a move into the crowd. Wasn't intentional, but he still made a lawsuit out of it. Supreme apparently beat the shit out of a drunk fan at XPW Night of Champions 2002.
  22. Punk/Raven sounds cool. If done right, Corino/Williams could've been great, or really bad. I wanna see another FWA-ROH joint show sometime.
  23. Here's the link that actually works: http://www.strongbrothers.com/rough.wmv
  24. Whose son is independent star Harry Smith.
  25. Frank Talent was on Jimmy Ty's radio show recently and announced the following: Viking Hall/The ECW Arena is going to be renovated and renamed Al Hambra (sp?) Hall. From now on, it'll mainly hold boxing shows, but wrestling events will continue on the weekend. The last time it was refurbished was back in 2002, when XPW had the floors painted black and cleaned up the locker room area, which had been a dirty mess ever since ECW stopped running there and other indys came in. Do know this, though...Talent isn't the most reliable person, even though is is the Philly Athletic Commissioner. He's made mistakes beforehand about saying on other radio shows new regulations that were planning to be implemented, yet never saw the light of day. But man, this is a travesty. I called Butch D'Ammado, one of the building's owners and a guy I've talken to several times before, to ask if this was true, but he didn't answer the phone. Hopefully we can get a confirmation ont his soon.
