  1. http://iwamidsouth.proboards19.com/index.c...&num=1078374708 WOW...as late as today, people were still finding out that this isn't a work...that's sad...
  2. You mean Facelift Dropkick?
  3. WOW, that live journal was...different... But damn, he fuckin ripped RF, and I agree with most of what he had to say. He also pretty much put my thoughts on Eric Gargiulo's piece in a nutshell - Eric didn't need to wait till now to let his thoughts on RF be known, and his attempt to shill CZW simultaneously was both lame and uncalled for. But like Joe, I agreed with most of what he had to say.
  4. OMG IS DA RETURN OF DA TSM ON-SITE REPORTS THEY'RE SO F'N COOL YA BABY YA!
  5. Also...SaveRob.net was taken down. This is the new site apparently: http://home.comcast.net/~secandido/home.html And some very interesting feedback about the RF matter from fans, wrestlers (identities witheld), and others): http://www.wrestling-news.com/artman/publi...icle_2190.shtml
  6. And has this image been posted yet? Interesting thread... http://otherarena.com/cgi/post.cgi?14207&1&4&usindy I'm not saying that I agree with it or I don't, because I think a couple sentences were right on the mark and others the guy used a lot of bad logic...I'll let you people decide for yourselves. Also, two other interesting replies to a thread about the Feinstein incident, regarding possible scenarios and the like: http://otherarena.com/cgi/post.cgi?14097&1&4&usindy http://otherarena.com/cgi/post.cgi?14123&1&4&usindy And Barnett posted this on March 4 on tOA: But honestly...I kinda feel just a *BIT* - and I want to emphathize that word - sorry for the guy...I mean, he's just being fucking RRRRIIIIIPPPPPPEEEEEDDDDDD SENSELESSLY by everyone on the net...A lot of people fuckin hated my guts on CZWFans.com (Mike Johnson included ) and still do, and I felt bad about that, but he's hated by about 10 times as many people as that. And I'm not saying he doesn't deserve the hate he gets...I think he does, but it may just be a tad excessive...Imagine what the guy is feeling right now, surfing the boards and seeing the jokes about him and shit...Then again, he tried to solicit a fucking 14 year old, so I gotta say, in the honor of Scott Keith, two hot pokers up the ass of that asshole. And over at tOA, some guy called Pat Patterson a sex predator...that's going a bit far...
  7. The wording of this thread's title make it sound like a day in kindergarten, LOL.
  8. Ya, I guess it is backwards. Sorry about that. So rudos = heels and technicos = faces, is that right?
  9. Thanks for the feedback. The first match on AAA involved Octagon, Pentagon, and two guys with the first time as Mascara. If you get my drift, at that point, I was like, "Oooohhhhh boy..." LOL. I started recapping the match hoping I could figure out as it went on who each guy was, and I called each wrestler #1, #2, #3, and #4, but a few minutes in I realized I couldn't figure it out. I usually watch Lucha more often, but in the last few weeks I haven't gotten the chance. I remember as AAA was starting this week, I was hoping Damien/Halloween, Juvi, Nicho, or someone like that would be on, since they're some of the few people I know. That Pierroth dude looks just like Jake Roberts.
  10. Galavision Lucha Libre report Aired Sunday, March 7, 2004 By LucharesuFan619 CMLL 1. Six-Man Tag Team Match: Tarzan Boy, Black Tiger, & Pierroth (Technicos) vs. (Atlantis, Super Crazy, & “El Brazo de Plata” Super Porky (Rudos) PRIMERA CAIDA (First Fall): A lot of this match is comedy, but it’s still fun stuff to watch. Super Crazy and Pierroth start us off. Crazy does an armdrag and Pierroth utilizes an armringer a few moments later, only for Crazy to escape via a cartwheel/kipup-style roll-through. “The Insane Luchadore” then performs another armdrag, after which he ducks a lariat and connects with a spinning heelkick. Tarzan Boy and Atlantis enter. Atlantis hits a running crossbody block and then a monkey flip, but Tarzan Boy dodges a running dropkick. Tarzan gets backdroped over the ropes and onto the apron. When he goes to climb onto the top turnbuckle, though, he’s crotched by Atlantis, causing him to tumble down to ringside, where Atlantis takes him out with a Plancha. Super Porky and Black Tiger do some comedy spots. Pierroth attacks Porky and some more comedy spots ensue. Tarzan and Tiger are double splashed by the big Super Porky. Atlantis is then tagged in and he hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Black Tiger. Porky follows with a Flying Splash on Tiger and a few moments later, Porky’s teammate, Super Crazy, gets a crucifix pin on an opponent to win the fall. SEGUNDA CAIDA (Second Fall): Super Crazy and Black Tiger start us off. A great roperun sequence ensues, featuring shoulderblocks, dropdowns, and leapfrogs. Crazy flips out of a tilt-a-whirl pickup, only to receive a lariat, which knocks him down. The former-ECW and XPW star fights back by rolling through a sunset flip and nailing a basement dropkick to the face, at which point Atlantis comes in and fights with Pierroth. Atlantis is lariated down to the mat and Pierroth follows by slamming him before finally applying an armlock/crooked single-leg crab combo. At the same time, Tarzan hits a nice-looking Chocoball Mukai-esque front facelock/body cradle lift into a Brainbuster Suplex onto Crazy. He gets the pin over Crazy at the same time Atlantis submits to Pierroth’s submission. The rudos get the second fall. TERCERA CAIDA (Third Fall): Pierroth and Black Tiger whip Porky into the ropes and perform a double-team back body drop onto him. Pierroth and Porky exchange chops, headbutts, etc. Atlantis knocks Tarzan off the apron as Plato running splashes Pierroth in the corner. A few moments later, Crazy whips Pierroth with something. He fights back, and backdrops Crazy to the apron, but receives a springboard dropkick. Crazy is then knocked onto the ropes by Black Tiger via a drop toehold, and Tiger hits a 619. Atlantis hits a sweet monkey flip on Black Tiger and then hiptosses him out of the ring, Tiger drags Atlantis out. In the ring. Plato hits a Rikishi-like Sitdown BUTT Splash onto Tarzan Boy’s face to get the pinfall and thereby win the match for his team. WINNERS: Rudos After the match, Porky kisses the blue monkey midget as his team celebrates. 2. Mr. Niebla vs. Dr. Wagner Jr. A UNE CAIDA (One Fall To A Finish): Wagner attacks Niebla and starts an impromptu brawl at ringside. Wagner hits a suicide dive through the ropes. They re-enter the ring and Wagner lariats Neibla in the corner. Scoop slam by Wagner and a Flying Moonsault Splash, but he doesn’t cover. He goes for another Moonsault, but Niebla rolls it. Running dropkick to the face by niebla. After a snapmare, Niebla executes a Running dropkick to the back of the head, and – when Wagner rolls out to ringside – takes his foe out with a Running Apron-Dive Somersault Body Attack. In the ring, Niebla applies an armlock submission and pulls Wagner’s hair a bit. Niebla then proceeds to Irish whip Wagner into the ropes and spinebuster him down to the mat for 2. Wagner tries a sunset flip and finally pulls Niebla down for 2. Niebla locks on a rear chinlock to slow down the pace and then yells at the ref. Wagner gets knocked out to ringside, but fights back and flies in with a Flying Crossbody Block for 2. Wagner hits a nice-looking Handspring Backwards Leaping Body Attack and follows with a Folding Powerbomb for 2. Next, Niebla unloads with chest slaps, but Wagner fights back by slapping him down to the mat. His Irish whip is countered, though, and Niebla tosses his foe into the ref, knocking him down. Wagner fights back, though, and gets a pin to win the first fall when the ref refuses to count Niebla’s pinfall. This was somewhat of an awkward and extremely abrupt finish, but the rest of the match was pretty good. WINNER: Dr. Wagner Jr. Afterwards, Niebla cuts a promo at his opponent before Wagner mouths back with one of his own. - They hype that El Encos and Super Estelar will wrestle next week. End of show. OVERALL THOUGHTS: It’s unfortunate that there were only two matches. I would’ve liked to see at least one more, but those that were aired were solid, so I won’t complain. Both matches were solid, although I’m leaning towards the first one (the six-man tag contest) as being the better of the two. This is only the second time in my life I've done a live PBP recap. The first time was of a WWF HeAT episode several years ago when Dean Malenko was the co-host. So, be generous with any feedback, LOL. Hope my time was well spent. I may do this next week...I don't know...I just was bored, so I opted to write this up as I watched the show. I would've done AAA too (that's on right now), but it was more difficult to decipher who was wrestling on there, whereas the CMLL announcers reiterated each match's participants more often.
  11. CREDIT: Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com Raymond Fernandez, who was a WWF star in the 80s and a New Japan star in the 90s as Hercules Hernandez, was found dead on Saturday morning, having died in his sleep. Dewey Robertson announced that Hercules had passed away at the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame banquet last night. We have since confirmed the story is true. Fernandez was living in Tampa. At this point the cause of death is presumed to be a heart attack, pending an autopsy. Hercules worked all over the world, working for several years as a heel in the WWF, including wrestling Ricky Steamboat at Wrestlemania II. He and Scott Norton, as the Jurassic Powers, were a major tag team during the glory days of New Japan Pro Wrestling, feuding with teams like the Steiner Brothers and the Hell Raisers.
  12. I know what you mean...It's a Sitout version of Ruckus' Reverse Chronic...
  13. Nobody's mentioned the best move of all - the STORM~! CRADLE~! DRIVER~!???!!!!!! It's a Half Back Waistlock/Half Nelson combo lift into Neck Cradle Sitout Inverted Powerbomb w/ a MEGA head drop. - any move by Nick Gage or Nate Hatred, and especially their double team moves - Super Ki Krusher - B-Boy's FACELIFT DROPKICK~! - B-Boy's T-Bone and other suplexes into the ringpost - Chris Hamrick's Southern Bell Ringer (Super Piledriver) - Red's Infared Splash, when he lands his feet in the guy's face - Kaos' Kaostify (Super Forward Flying Gourdbuster that just makes me cringe) - EZ Money/Jason Jett's WCW finisher - Crash Landing (Release Vertical Suplex into Catching [Midair] Sitout Powerbomb a.k.a. an Orange Crush); Trent Acid also uses this occasionally - Joel Maximo's multiple Non-Release/Rolling Sitout Powerbombs With the Psycho Driver - it does indeed look sick, but most of the time what Super D. does is toss the guy into a High-Angle X Factor and less of a Piledriver, so they really land more face-first than on their neck, except when its Rising Son, TARO, or Excalibur, who take the move in fuckin SSSSIIIIIICCCCKKKKK manners. EDIT: Add Monsta Mack's Straight to Hell to my list. It's a Super Avalanche-Style Emerald Frosion and looks absolutely disgusting. In terms of submissions: - Jinsei Shinzaki's Goku-Raku Gatame (Cross-Arm Choking Camel Clutch) - the Cattle Mutilation (Bryan Danielson): Front Bridging Double Chicken Wing w/ victim on stomach, but sometimes done with them sitting on mat
  14. Alright...I think we need to do some quick clarifying...I agree with everything you say there. Honestly, I do...thing is - that's the point I'm trying to make. I'm not criticizing your decision to wait till the story aired to post...I don't blame you for that...My point was to criticize Eric's logic in blaming people for not waiting until the story was confirmed. It could've just been a well thought out Internet rumor until then. My post was meant to criticize Eric's POV, not your interview. You know there was no need to say those two sentences...there really wasn't.
  15. Point taken. But it doesn't matter that he reported it before any major site. He waited until it had been confirmed, and although he posted it first, he posted it first by mere minutes. Therefore, Eric's claim that you guys handled it better than others is invalid. I didn't say you did. And I also didn't say that I disagree with what was said in your interview, or that I agree with it. I did say that you gave Gabe the chance to respond to the incidents over the past few days, which quite frankly, I agree with you doing. My point, though, is that I don't think Eric would've been fond of someone giving an ROH official a chance to speak on the matter. My point, if negative at all, was geared toward Eric, not yourself.
  16. I read Gargiulo's entire piece and I agree with a lot of it...most of it...but the last few paragraphs I really need to discuss. I don't know if Eric realizes that Perverted-Justice.com has no association with the government. Therefore, Meltzer has every right to cite the FACT that nobody has gone to jail thanks to them. He nor everyone else should be treating it as if RF was caught by the police, because he was NOT. Was he caught red handed? Yes. Are you innocent until proven guilty formally under the law in the US, or by a group of citizens in an informal sting operation? It's definitely not the latter... As I said, I agree with virtually all of the article until he brought in the names of a lot of Internet reporters, some of whom I think he was too easy on and some of whom I think he was too hard on. Eric Gargiulo is not the most professional man out there...far from it. For him to be shitting on Eric Walker, who it's no secret I do not like, is - nonetheless - hypocritical, to say the least. Gargiulo has made unwarranted accusations toward Rob Black in his commentary, taken unwarranted cheapshots toward both Black and XPW management in his commentary, has done the same with Gabriel Knight of DCW and HWA, and has - ironically - plugged ROH in his commentary, during CZW's agreement with them. Furthermore, in his online columns, he's taken unwarranted cheapshots at GQ Money, Shane Douglas, Gabe Sapolsky, and others. You need to realize this - Gargiulo isn't like RF, because he hasn't sunk to screwing people over. But he is trying to portray himself as someone who he's not - completely professional. Ripping on other people isn't professional, especially when it's unwarranted. At least his ripping on RF is warranted. Also Gargiulo ripping on Eric Walker is, quite frankly, hypocritical. Also - his point about many sites waiting until the newscast aired to report the matter is mis-thought-out. Mike Johnson posted the news on his site at the same time as Dave Meltzer on the Observer, Keller on the Torch, etc. He didn't just go out there and post it right away, before the newscast aired, so Gargiulo citing Johnson - and also Keller, because Keller did the EXACT same thing (posting it when the newscast aired, not really before) - as being one of the few honorable reporters in the matter is really shitty logic, and very hypocritical. MKJ is no better than Meltzer, and quite honestly, worse, according to Gargiulo's own logic (see last paragraph). That said - I think Gargiulo's word needs to be taken for what it is, and I mean that in a way you may not first think I mean it in. He's known RF since 7 or whatever, so he's known him a shitload longer than most people. I take his word over a lot of other people's words, who've only met RF in the last decade. He did a very good job of revealing the real RF - the scumbag one - but at the same time, I can't let it pass by that some of the logic he used was quite, well, hypocritical. I do agree with about 80-90% of what he said, though. And also, I wonder if Gargiulo stands by what he says, regarding MKJ's honorableness. He's sticking up for ROH with that latest interview that was posted. I'm not saying I agree with the interview or I don't. I'm saying I think his analysis of MKJ's reporting is severely misguided.
  17. http://www.starchat.net/chat/?chan=czw Press OK or Yes or whatever when a message comes up asking you if you want to download codec or whatever its called. I have 56k and I was in the chat in less than a minute.
  18. Reports don't sound great from casual fans... CREDIT: DVDR "Hey guys. I decided to go to CZW show tonight in Allentown, due to the fact that it's approx. 10 mins. from where I am living. This will be my first and last CZW show. I paid to go in order to see Dutt vs. Strong (which I thought stole the show on last weekend's JAPW show) and Teddy Hart vs. B-Boy. Dutt vs. Strong ended the show with a 3 star match, but Hart didn't even wrestle. They did a horrible "fake shoot" angle, Teddy acting as if he is too good to wrestle, confronting Zandig, and then getting thrown out of the building. Just crap. It is such garbage that they advertise that someone is going to wrestle, especially the person who is the night's big draw, and then not even have him wrestle in a bait and switch. I almost went as far as to ask for my money back. What's even more pitiful is that some at the show were actually into the angle, and thought it was a shoot. Anyway, the rest of the show was pretty bad, nothing hitting two stars. Jack Evans and Jimmy Jacobs were entertaining, but no matches worth mentioning. This is the last time I'll ever go to one of these shows. I cannot possibly comprehend how they can advertise that someone is gonna wrestle, and then do just do a horrible angle instead. And fans keep going back to these show? I should probably write Zandig, or CZW, or whoever writes and books this garbage and let them know what I think, but it would just be a waste of my time. By the way, sorry for all of you who wanted real results, but I honestly cannot remember all of the results as it all just blends together in my mind as a bunch of crap. Ross" ALSO: Teddy/B-Boy was apparently like three minutes long, and they had a good mat exchange. My mistake.
  19. First, I didn't mean to put the emoticon next ot the post, so don't think that was intentional. I wasn't trying to shortchange the show or anything. I must've somehow clicked it accidentally. Berk and Barr over CKNY DJ Hyde over Savio Vega lookalike Sabien over Chris Cash Rebel and Mathews over Flash and Messiah Sonjay Dutt over Roderick Strong B-Boy and Teddy Hart fight to a very short No Contest Six man tag from Chikara, the Wild Cards beat Quackenbushs team B-Boy over Petey Williams Jack Evans and Petey Williams over IWR's Gutter and CZW's Derek Frazier Joker over Jon Dahmer Ruckus over Jimmy Jacobs Attendance was 100-200. I was told by someone there that there was a great angle where Teddy Hart was kicked out of the building and then kept sneaking back in until the entire locker room came out to beat the shit out of him, but like cut a promo and then flipped off the top rope and took out a bunch of people. Said to be a really chaotic angle, but good. Zandig confronted Teddy and berated him. They pretty much falsely advertised the B-Boy-Teddy match because it only went about a minute before Zandig interfered... Photo my boy RandomFan took of Teddy:
  20. I don't like Barnett or RF. Barnett has made many false accusations in the past, and yes, he was right about this all along, but he's made a number of false accusations about other people before. But his column does show what a scumbag RF is. I was hesitant to believe some of what Barnett was saying for years because it seemed like he had a grudge...and he does...but it's warranted, according to that column. Wierd thing is...that column is the very first time I've read his story on why he doesn't like RF. Before this, it's always been bash RF, bash RF, bash RF, with no explanation. Perhaps if Barnett had posted a column like this before, and not just on his message board where selected people read, he'd have more supporters. I know that if I had read this column a year ago, I would've began hating RF a year ago, but since I'm just reading the story today, well, I'm really starting to hate RF just today. He sounds like an absolute piece of shit, and I hope they throw the book at him if what's being said is true. ROH is the least of his worries.
  21. I know he has the Negro Amigo, which is also a DVD. So they're both the same thing? Thanks for the info. I have a Head Drop Angle Slam listed as the Heartbreak Hotel. So, is that actually something different from Greetings From GLand or are they the same? Also - anyone know what Chris Sabin's Sabin Press is? CageMatch.de lists that as his finisher. ALSO: Move lists are up for: - Teddy Hart at http://obsessedwithwrestling.com/bios/t/teddy-hart.html - Harry Smith: http://obsessedwithwrestling.com/bios/h/harry-smith.html
  22. Fine. Maybe "Holy f*ck" was a bit much.
  23. Shane signed a lease for his name while in ECW, so that if the company was ever sold, he can't do anything about it. All the guys did that, even Joey Styles, regardless of his claiming that he'd sue WWE if they use his voice, which they've already done with the Foley DVD. Shane doesn't have a case. Royalties probably won't be an issue.
  24. Its an indy forum. Someone appears to be making a comeback from drug rehab. It's relevent. Shut up now.
  25. Random graphics rule... Found these on SCU... What's the difference between RF and a grocery bag? One is plastic and harmful to children, the other is used to carry groceries. What's icky and in a baby's diaper? RF's hand. Why did RF place a phone call to Boyz-2-Men? He thought it was a delivery service. Why are RF's pants so small? Because they aren't his! How did RF get in trouble? He was feeling a little Randy How do we know RF is guilty? Several children have fingered him. Why is RF so tough? He can lick any kid on the block. Who does Rob Feinstein consider a Perfect "10"? Two 5 year olds What has 18 balls and 3 pubic hairs? An RF slumber party What do RF and Willie Shoemaker have in common? Both ride 4 year olds.
