  1. Sweet fucking move, Orton. I love when movesets are varied between encounters, unlike other overdone matches (Jericho/Kane).
  2. Man, I don't like Edge, but that was funny.
  3. I call that excellent booking. Batista gets the job done.
  4. Edit: Nevermind my misuse of logic.
  5. Right because you know we're gonna get a full blown HHH/Regal feud. Regal needs a good putting over, much like that one, to make him believable to the fans. No one is used to seeing Regal kick the shit out of the top heels or faces for that matter. Your argument has no foundation.
  6. That fucking ROCKED! I never thought Regal could give me goosebumps again. Shit like that rejuvinates careers. I hope they go somewhere with the guy, but I doubt it. THAT is the stuff you build feuds on. Raw fucking emotion.
  7. I hate to trash someone, but I have to agree. Cena has done nothing but piss me off lately. His match on smackdown before the Bash that involved him taking oin Booker, RVD and Dupree in 3 five minute matches is the reason I finally turned away from watching Smackdown on a regular basis.
  8. You obviously didn't read the post. cheech13 DID make the joke. Any update on the status of the injury?
  9. Karen McDougal is gone? BOO! She was also on the E! Wild On host shows and got dropped. IMO, she's fucking gorgeous. Don't really see a place on Raw for her, but I don't really see a place on Raw for any of them.
  10. I'd be willing to bet that The rock will have a smackdown program for next year's Rumble/Mania. That may add some much needed life to the mix and make things more interesting. I think Angle/Rock needs to be run again since they haven't had much of any feud since 2000.
  11. You gotta feel bad for Kane with the booking he has been given this year. Has he even won a match this year?. You had Kane/Edge ( Edge is fresh on the return, Kane just got his ass handed to him by Taker). Kane loses TWICE to Benoit and moves on to a feud with Hardy that he LOSES. Now he's up against HBK who he took out on Raw, and his chances look slim. HBK could never get the job done with HHH, loses clean in the blowoff, and comes back into a feud with a guy who desperately needs a big win, but the feud is booked on revenge, so you know the finish here. Poor Kane.
  12. The next EC seriously needs to be SD! people. Plus having the same Raw main event at SS as last year (with interchangables of course) would be kind of stupid, IMO. Benoit/HHH Eugene/Flair Edge/Batista Jericho/Orton
  13. Another poster with "thanks" at the end of thier post? Odd. A Randy Orton look a like doesn't sound like anything really needed, but perhaps he can fit in well on SD!.
  14. Right, I know it wasn't his fault, and I like Eugene, but the focus of the SUMMERSLAM title match needs to be off of this soap opera shit and put full on the fact that HHH and Benoit need to duke it out 1 on 1 to sees whos the best. Without Michaels in a 3 way, without Evolution or Edge in tag matches, and without Eugene biting his fingernails and swinging chairs.
  15. Judging by the incredibly spotty heat Eugene got last night and the fact that the fans have no idea how to react to him, a ME at SS is questionable. they'd have to work for at least 2 weeks in re-establishing him as a babyface and not so much being on the ropes, and you'd take away from what the focus of a title feud should be (the fucking belt) in the build up for the title match in the 2nd biggest show of the year. Get Eugene out of the Trips/Benoit feud, and keep him in the Evolution feud.
  16. Not historic by any means, but I attended the 1st HHH match after the quad surgery and saw/realized the first signs of the horrible run he would have. He was visibly huge and sluggish, and he did his screaming face pose WAY too much. He even did it after the show with Austin and spit the beer. I can remember thinking he was a shell of 2000 even then. Something was up.
  17. HHH lost the title to people who weren't HHH. Read the damned parenthesis Zsasz. You know exactly what I mean. I don't hate your boy, so don't nit pick as if I'm taking a shot at him. I stated that the changing hands of this world title since it has been brought to Raw needs to be mixed up rather than HHH - HBK - HHH - Goldberg -HHH - Benoit - HHH. Understand? I thought so.
  18. HHH can win the title soon, but not from Benoit. Since the title's re-inception to Raw in 2002, no one has lost the title to anyone but HHH (HBK,Benoit). Benoit jobbing needs to be to someone else. If you want to throw a transitional champ in for this year, do it now, before it goes back to one of the flagships.
  19. I love it when you guys argure like this. It's quite the interesting read. Thank you. Hardly a classic, but did anyone else like Rock/Brock as much as I did? Very rushed build, but a very fun match to watch unfold.
  20. Heel Cena is fine. He just spends so much mic time pleasing the crowd, and it's getting rather boring. Great character to have around for house shows, but on TV, it's time to turn it up. Cena is showing Austin levels (circa 2002) of phoning it in and I'm fucking tired of it.
  21. If Eddie can get the belt back and face Taker at SS, JBL SHOULD take the belt off of an extremely stale Cena. Cena really needs a repackaging or re-wiring of his gimmick. It sucks, and his rinwork is pathetic as a face.
  22. His gimmick might be tremendous, but nobody is buying (nor will they any time soon), if for no other reason than it is freaking BRADSHAW. Contrary to what Vince might hope, wrestling fans' memories aren't THAT short. You can't just take a guy that was a crappy HOSS~ that floundered in the midcard as a redneck, card-playing, beer drinking tag team wrestler then magically turn him into JR Ewing and expect people to buy into that. Sure, maybe Bradshaw is trying to be better in the ring, but nobody is going to ever buy into him. It just won't happen. Gotta agree here. Eddie could have faced the same problem, had they just pulled the trigger on him and made him the #1 guy without proper build. Instead he built up a lot of steam and perfectly progressed from an established tag team that worked with top guys, to the 1st US champion, and then while his popularity soared, his status did as well.
  23. Show needs more mic time. The guy is brilliant on the stick and could really come off as more threatening if he wasn't scripted to only say "I'm a giant. I'm seven feet tall and 500 pounds."
  24. Aside form the atrocious finish, HHH/Booker from Raw following Wrestlemania 19 was excellent. the near falls were incredible, and Booker worked as if he was going to win. It was TOTALLY overshadowed by HBK running in and a schmozz finish, but I'd still give it a sold ***. Very fun match and great heat.
