The Return series is the red-headed step child of the zombie genre. Talking zombies doesn't bother me, brick using doesn't bother me, these are things they did in life, but unless all the zombies were olympic sprinters, it bothers the piss out of me.

While 28 days didn't have true zombies, it was still a zombie film. Film studios, starting with Day of the Dead, don't take these type of films seriously. They want to get more to watch the films, so like in all things, the true fans get screwed. And just what was the reasons for the zombies in the dead series?

With the audience of today, a bunch of slow moving zombies would be taken as comical. 28 days later brought the fast zombies and it looks like thats how they are gonna be now .

Hmm, I could point you towards about ten programs to convert avi, real, wmav to mpeg but I can't recall any that would to the reverse. Usaully all you can do is convert it to a different file type. Some video files are encoded is such a way that prevent seeking in order to keep file size down.

Being the horror(and whore) buff that I am, I just picked up the original Special edition DVD, forgoing the new film unless I get in free from my oldest nephew or get head from my girlfriend again. Just sick of all the remakes.

I saw a band play once at a rave, I think their name was "Testicle Bomb" and within one minute of playing they were getting glow sticks and other assorted glow in the dark shit getting thrown at them. So they cut them in the middle of the performance to play some speed racer techno song. These guys would make three drunken, crack smoking hobos look like musical gods in comparision.
